We were hesitant at first since we usually like to know what we’re going to eat, but we’re so glad we kept the reservation and went. Their wine list is also spectacular. We had the La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 (2015), which was absolutely delicious; we recommend having it decanted about 40 minutes before drinking. We also had a couple of burnt honey rye Old Fashioneds, which were fantastic.“

The neighborhood might seem rough, but trust me, that's where you find the best flavors. The owners and staff are genuinely warm, welcoming, and thankful for your business. Please accept the parking lot that needs some updates and the diner itself which sits with its real history and enjoy phenomenal food and very fair and reasonable prices.“

“Visiting South Bend and this place was across the street from my hotel so I decided to try it. While standing there looking at the menu and trying to two decide what to get another customer told me I should try the ribs. So I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs and they were absolutely amazing! The sauce was delicious and the meat was just falling off the bone. They came with fries coleslaw and French bread as well and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend. I would like to go back and try some other menu items.“
