“This restaurant was a 10/10. We had the rare chance to enjoy a date night, and we had the most amazing time. The service was top-notch, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was superb. We’re visiting South Bend this week, and it’s Restaurant Week—so we opted for the blind tasting menu.

We were hesitant at first since we usually like to know what we’re going to eat, but we’re so glad we kept the reservation and went. Their wine list is also spectacular. We had the La Rioja Alta Gran Reserva 904 (2015), which was absolutely delicious; we recommend having it decanted about 40 minutes before drinking. We also had a couple of burnt honey rye Old Fashioneds, which were fantastic.“

The neighborhood might seem rough, but trust me, that's where you find the best flavors. The owners and staff are genuinely warm, welcoming, and thankful for your business. Plus, the portion sizes are unbeatable for the price. They rarely run out of ingredients, but if they do, it's only because everything's fresh and in high demand. “I enjoy eating breakfast here because it is deeply tied to the community and area. They are now open til 6p. Make sure to have patience, service is slow. I never received water upon waiting over 1/2 hr for food. However, the food never disappoints. If you are on a low sodium or restricted diet make sure to let them know to be easy on seasonings and fats. I absolutely love supporting local restaurants and small businesses. I was able to add this business to google maps and write the first review.“

“Visiting South Bend and this place was across the street from my hotel so I decided to try it. While standing there looking at the menu and trying to two decide what to get another customer told me I should try the ribs. So I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs and they were absolutely amazing! The sauce was delicious and the meat was just falling off the bone. They came with fries coleslaw and French bread as well and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend. I would like to go back and try some other menu items.“

“The cream of mushroom soup is good. The pretzel is very tasty to One recommendation remove that chili off of your menu it’s disgusting and taste like something that comes out of a can. No flavor no seasonings We didn’t even eat it and told the waitress but she just said ok“
