“Love the Bucket!!! BUT, did have an unpleasant experience for the first time in our many visits. 11:00 in the morning it took multiple conversations with staff to get the outdoor music turned down. Other customers also felt the music for that time of day was inappropriate. We are music enthusiasts, But sometimes it’s pleasant to enjoy a meal and cocktail with audible conversation. “Visiting South Bend and this place was across the street from my hotel so I decided to try it. While standing there looking at the menu and trying to two decide what to get another customer told me I should try the ribs. So I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs and they were absolutely amazing! The sauce was delicious and the meat was just falling off the bone. They came with fries coleslaw and French bread as well and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend. I would like to go back and try some other menu items.“

“Staff was super kind and had the best experience with the gentleman at the cashier. He was hilarious and helpful in deciding what to order. They also have a little gift shop next door so I picked up some treats and items for the kids at home. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito with extra salsa. Latte was good too! They’re open early to accommodate all flight times.“

“I do not understand why they wear exam gloves. They touch everything in the restruant with the same pair on. They handle money, clean handle foor that is in wrapers. My last experience at this location. There was a person running the register. 3 employees standing and visiting behinder her. The customers in front of me took quite a while to order. 2 to 3 more customers came in. After I finally place ld my order and was waiting on it. One of the 3 finally came up to another register to help. I know it is difficult to find young good help. Maybe more supervision would help. My food was only warm. There was almost not Mustard or ketchup on the sandwich. Very dissapointing.“

First, this is NOT an appropriate place for kids, and you'll be asked to leave if you bring them, this is an old style BAR. Adults only.

My burger was delicious and the staff was friendly! Sorry I started eating it first. Greasy and great! Full of beef and gluten.

If you love nostalgia and don't mind the smell of old smoke and a hint of pee, scratched paint and air vents hanging from straps, you'll love this place. It's like going back to the 60s or 70s!

Be sure to enjoy the vintage Popeye sign from the 50's advertising a hamburger for 10¢!

If not you probably should avoid it.

This place leans into letting people self-select to not be here. But in my opinion that just means it has an unapologetic personality.

I am NOT recommending this place for the sub 40 crowd, you probably won't like it and the regular won't feel bad about that. If you don't mind stepping out of your comfort zone in a big way, try it. If not they won't miss you.“

“I visited this bar to do Emo Night Karaoke and I had a good time. Corey and Jess were great bartenders. The bar was busy but not cramped or uncomfortable. Diverse crowd of all ages. There was plenty of seating indoor and out. The sound was great for the show. I'd visit this bar again.“
