“My girlfriends and I have known Joe for many years- from when he worked at Buck Creek Winery. He is The BEST! Now that I have finally visited the shop 2 days in a row- I know why everyone raves about Heartland. Last night there was a great crew working! The teens were very personable and friendly. They offered us a sample. Everything tasted sooo good. If you know how great Joe is- you won't be surprised that he has a phenomenal group of employees representing his shop. As for the ice cream...my youngest son LOVED the Superman. I chose Cornbread and Coffee Cookie. Sooooo good! You HAVE to try the Cornbread ice cream! It is the most unique, delicious ice cream ever! I had to get it again today. My oldest son came this time and he sampled Cornbread. He liked it so much- that is what he ordered, too! The Cookies and Cream is also to die for! I love how easy it is to sign up for the rewards program. We also loved how many options we had to choose from on the menu. If I can ever tear myself away from the Cornbread ice cream- I would like to try the Italian Ice. It was great to see you today, Joe! What a wonderful business you are building. I'm sending Nikki in STAT! lol. My boys and I highly recommend Heartland. Looking forward to visiting again soon....“

“My friends and I were in Indianapolis for an anime convention. After we ate at an Italian restaurant, we decided to stop by a local ice cream shop to get some ice cream. When we got there, there was a Jamaican themed party going on. Just everyone (staff and the community) having a great time. We got our ice cream and oh my goodness, it is definitely one of THE BEST ice creams I’ve had in a long time. (I had their cookie dough ice cream). The manager or owner (I’m not sure, very nice lady) came up and handed me a coupon for buy one get one free scoop. Her and her staff offered us some Jamaican food to have, but with being so full from dinner and their delicious ice cream, we had to decline. Amazing vibes, amazing ice cream. You’ll definitely see me again when I come back to Indianapolis. Thank you!“

“Went to Ella’s for the first time after leaving Handel’s due to size of the crowd and we are so glad we did! Great price and great flavors and toppings and the place is so clean! I also witnessed one of the employees being above-and-beyond nice to a family that was not aware of the closing time and still let them get a last-second treat. I am a fan and happy to have a new place to go!“

“Got the Affagoto with my friends! Owner was incredibly polite and helpful with us. I explained I wanted to add them to my menu in Texas and he let us film content and the most important part is that it was incredible! So delicious and smooth. My friend got an iced coffee and loved it.“

“Cookies are delicious and there is a large variety to choose from! We ordered on a kiosk and did not have much of a wait to get two boxes completed! They do also have dirty sodas now as well which I am excited to try next time! If you only eat 1/4 at a time (trust me that’s all you’ll need) , they will last and are definitely worth the money!“

“Best DQ in Indy!!! My orders are always correct. Fast and friendly service, every time. If there’s a long line, don’t fret. They are fast but efficient. We go out of our way to go to this Dairy Queen. Today, I got an orange shake and a box of popsicles as I have had a sore throat and I knew just the fix! 🤣“

“Locally owned seasonal outdoor ice cream shop. If you are looking for the best bang for your buck- this place is definitely it- the owner doesnt seem to believe in inflation. They have a very expansive menu with many quick bite options. Outdoor seating is available but a little ran down- but no problem if it helps keep cost down- there is a nice small park right across the street or a larger park right around the corner. This place gets packed but have never had any issues with getting my ice cream and/or food in a timely manner.“

“Stopped here out of the blue since I had to run an errand out this way. I got the $7 chili cheese dog and it was AMAZING! It's been a long time since I've had a chili dog, the bun was warm and soft, it was hot, came with chips, a drink and a sundae too. Highly recommend.“

“Cute ice cream shop connected to the tea shop. They have good hours and the ice cream parlor is clean and cute. Costumer service was excellent and they even figured out how to do something they haven't done before for the gentleman in front of me. My ice cream was fine and as of now they have limited flavors. However they do have some Lemonade and tea that I'll probably try in the future.“

“The ice cream here is a great experience and is really something that is hidden from people. I wish more people knew about this place because it deserves to be packed wall to wall! The service is friendly and you can tell they care about their customers and their business. The little touches they put into this location make it a beautiful and welcoming place for all ages and is a great location for families with kids. There are inside and outside games to play here too! So many flavors of ice cream and other frozen treats with many different topping options. My favorite is the blackberry cheesecake! Sooooo good!“

“Smallcakes in Greenwood blew me away! The staff person was the KINDEST. Friendly and helpful. I went because there are several dairy free options (some dairy free/gluten free too!) and they are delicious! It’s so nice to have choices. I had sorbet and got 3 cupcakes to go. Everything was delicious. Will be making more trips to Smallcakes!“

“This was my first time trying this burger chain it was good, i would not go out of my way to get it again. The patties are just a little over salted and i feel like that is what keeps people coming back, next time i will try a shake. Service was fast and staff is very welcoming. I was even handed my take out order also enjoyed to foosball table while i waited for my uber“

“Mason is an absolute stand up gentleman. From the time we walked in there; answered yes sir no sir, talked about his highschool career. Respectful, helpful, and very kind. My pocket knife fell out of my pocket and he went the extra mile to run the knife out of the store, find me in traffic, and knock on my window to make sure I got it back. Good kid and good ice cream.“

“This Dairy Queen is close and conveniently located off of US 31. The ice cream is great every single time! The food is okay, pretty greasy, but it's fast food. The outside of the restaurant is updated, but the inside is outdated. Their porch area is nice and well lit at night. Parking is also very limited.“

“We picked up an ice cream cake for my birthday, and we’re pretty pleased with it. Didn’t feel like it was worth $30, but it served its purpose. The lady working was very nice and informative. She is the sole reason I’m giving a 4 star rating. We’ll stick to Dairy Queen going forward.“

“Southport Road Dairy Queen is the best on the south side. They are very friendly the food is hot and cooked perfectly. I recommend eating inside or at the little area with the tables and chairs. I go out of my way to go to the Southport DQ.
