The oysters are my favorite in Indy, always perfectly shucked, and the wine list makes me grin every time I spot my favorite Vermentino. Highly recommend the pesto ravioli, sausage pasta, Parmesan garlic toast, and shrimp fondue. Service was great and restaurant was a cute vibe, which feels as important as the food itself.“

“The outside does not do this place justice. I'd categorize it as slightly upscale Italian. Inside is middle tier classy. Perfect for date night and celebrations. Food was delicious with the main dishes mostly starting at the $20 range. Ceaser salad was one of the best I have ever had. Garlic cheese bread is on the garlic-y side but we like it that way. Meatball dish was chefs kiss. We asked the waiter for wine selection recommendation and were super helpful. Wait staff was attentive.“

“My son’s favorite restaurant is Olive Garden. We have been to a lot of them and this one was the best. The service was great and the food was phenomenal. Everything tasted fresh like it was just cooked. they didn’t skimp on the bread sticks and gave us plenty. The salad had ample amount of toppings. The service was friendly and attentive. “I ate here since I was staying at the Wyndham. This is the in house restaurant. I initially did not have high expectations for how it would go because it took a few minutes for anyone to come to the host stand, and when they did, they said they had gotten “a little busy” (despite the place not appearing anywhere near full) and suggested I sit at the bar for better service. So I did, and it was very smooth from there. My bartender was excellent, attentive and warm but not at all overbearing. Food didn’t take too long either. I think I was in and out with a drink, entree, and dessert within an hour.
I got the Overhead Light cocktail to drink (Beefeater gin, crème de violette, maraschino liqueur). I usually get beer when I drink but this cocktail sounded good, and I did not regret my choice. Very floral and very strong.
I had the grilled salmon entree and cheesecake chimichanga for dessert. I really liked the sweet chili glaze on the salmon. Everything was cooked well. The dish as a whole could have used more seasoning, but it was easily redeemable with some black pepper. The rice pilaf was more flavorful than it looked - it tasted like there was parmesan cheese in there which made it pleasantly creamy. The cheesecake chimichanga was also great. It looks expensive, but it is a large portion that would be ideal to share even if I did manage to clear the plate by myself. I loved the crispy wraps with the cream cheese and strawberry sauce inside, and it actually wasn’t too overwhelmingly sweet.
Prices seem to run a little high. I thought the price for my entree was fair, and other entrees seemed to also be reasonably priced for what they were, but the drinks and desserts were expensive than expected.
It was really loud inside even though the place was only about half full. It didn’t help that the Wyndham lobby also had a loud group in it and the sound carried. The place would greatly benefit from some sound panels in the ceiling or on the walls. It’s an exposed ceiling and all hard surfaces and sound just bounces around.
I wouldn’t say the food was anything to write home about and probably wouldn’t recommend it if you’re local since Indy has plenty of more impressive eateries at this price point, but if you’re staying at one of the airport hotels and want somewhere convenient but classy, this might be your place.“

“We came for lunch yesterday and the wait was 1 1/2 hours (Saturday before Mother’s Day) there were plenty of tables, just not enough servers, something I think all restaurants are suffering with right now. Olive Garden made the best decision in only seating what the wait staff could handle.. and because of that our server wasn’t overwhelmed or stressed and our service wasn’t compromised!! Kudos to the management for putting the employees who want to work first!! It was well worth the wait!! Servers keep up the good work!! Happy Mother’s Day!!“

“Sometimes when you pay $30 for a pizza you get something disappointing. Less cheese than you’d expect, fewer toppings than you’d like, crust that’s both too dense but somehow not substantial. However, this place gives you great bang for your buck! We got our pizza overflowing with cheese, generous portions of Italian beef layered underneath, and plenty of spicy peppers. But beware - this is a SPICY pizza and I’m someone who regularly uses hot sauce. I had to keep wiping my nose! It was delightful. We got half without hot peppers for the kids. We still have 1/3 of the pizza left and it was for 5 people. 10/10 would go back again!“

“My wife and I have been long time wine club members so long that we have gotten to know all of the many mgrs ( and there have been a lot of them over a very short amount of time) the grad operation have become shorter and unpredictable and quite frankly we have wonder why or how It has stayed open for the past 4 years???? But we remained as wine club members because Foyt liters the best wine and we just love it! Recently came in to pick up our quartile bottles and where told we had already picked them up? This was impossible simply because the time when we were coming by they literally didn’t have any of the wines that we like? Not even for sale by the glass……. We told the lady that was there taking care of things ( whom we had never seen) and we where blown off for better yet made to feel we where trying to get over on them???? We were so offended!!!!! After tickets the winery all these years through what has obviously been hard times for them to be treelike that was the last straw!!! We went in last week to get our wine for this quarter and just call it quits and get rid of our mentor all these years and we were met with the new mgr Jenn. She was so pricey and classy and took the time to verities we were long time members !!!! She did what shocked us and provided us with most of the bottles that we were supposed to have two quarters ago and our new order!!!!! She had no idea we would be canceling our membership and that’s what made us stay and keep our membership!!!! She was a very refreshing thing to see !!!! A mgr first of all and one that looked to take care of what one would think is their most critical people the wine club members!!!!! Foyt has the best wine anywhere!!!!! I’m convinced the two who run the operation could care less about it doing good business since they don’t have any skin in it and it shows! They have the best wine that’s made by the Indy 500 greatest champion ( their) grandfather and it feels like this place is barely an afterthought for them. They never have a presence there and clearly don’t need it to be successful. But at least I can say that they found a great hire to steer the ship for them as Jenn was amazing as she manages , served and handled everything by herself on a Saturday with grace and class!!!!“

It’s such an easy, lovely walk from the IRT or Hilbert Circle Theater, and the perfect way to ease from the arts into a cozy, relaxed dinner. We always order the deep dish stuffed veggie supreme (because the veggirs are so fresh… how could we not?) and start with calamari. And yes… the cheese pull is every bit as good as people say. “Stopped by on awhile after a friend's recommendation. Monday is $7.99 for the 4 square. I love pepperoni, so I went with that. I'm not find of thick crust, so I was apprehensive. It was crisp, yummy, just the right amount of sauce. I might try another crust next time just to check it out, but I did enjoy the deep dish.“
