“My wife and I have been long time wine club members so long that we have gotten to know all of the many mgrs ( and there have been a lot of them over a very short amount of time) the grad operation have become shorter and unpredictable and quite frankly we have wonder why or how It has stayed open for the past 4 years???? But we remained as wine club members because Foyt liters the best wine and we just love it! Recently came in to pick up our quartile bottles and where told we had already picked them up? This was impossible simply because the time when we were coming by they literally didn’t have any of the wines that we like? Not even for sale by the glass……. We told the lady that was there taking care of things ( whom we had never seen) and we where blown off for better yet made to feel we where trying to get over on them???? We were so offended!!!!! After tickets the winery all these years through what has obviously been hard times for them to be treelike that was the last straw!!! We went in last week to get our wine for this quarter and just call it quits and get rid of our mentor all these years and we were met with the new mgr Jenn. She was so pricey and classy and took the time to verities we were long time members !!!! She did what shocked us and provided us with most of the bottles that we were supposed to have two quarters ago and our new order!!!!! She had no idea we would be canceling our membership and that’s what made us stay and keep our membership!!!! She was a very refreshing thing to see !!!! A mgr first of all and one that looked to take care of what one would think is their most critical people the wine club members!!!!! Foyt has the best wine anywhere!!!!! I’m convinced the two who run the operation could care less about it doing good business since they don’t have any skin in it and it shows! They have the best wine that’s made by the Indy 500 greatest champion ( their) grandfather and it feels like this place is barely an afterthought for them. They never have a presence there and clearly don’t need it to be successful. But at least I can say that they found a great hire to steer the ship for them as Jenn was amazing as she manages , served and handled everything by herself on a Saturday with grace and class!!!!“

“Date night at Bocca never disappoints. My wife and I live near downtown, and it’s become one of our favorite spots. We grabbed seats at the bar last night, where Maritza proved she can shake a cocktail like nobody’s business. The carbonara is my go-to—hands down the best I’ve had this side of, well, Italy. The oysters are my favorite in Indy, always perfectly shucked, and the wine list makes me grin every time I spot my favorite Vermentino. You don’t have to be a neighbor to feel like one once you’re at Bocca!“

“Homey but upscale atmosphere at the same time. Quite busy when I went but they fit us in even tho our reservation was for the wrong time. The complimentary bread had a wonderfully crunchy crust. The eggplant and portabello mushroom spaghetti with capers and green and black olives was unlike anything I’ve had before—what fun to try something new! It was so flavorful! And the portion size lasted for two meals. Would get again.“

“We went to Iozzo’s last month for our anniversary dinner. It was a truly memorable experience. The food was fantastic. “We were able to get outdoor seating after we requested last minute (request while making the reservation) which I really appreciated. The food was phenomenal I got the pappardelle dish and that had to of been the best pasta I’ve ever had. The pasta was freshly cut and they grind the meat for the dish in house. 10/10“

“First things first- I’ve been to Italy and had “real” pasta AND pasta is not usually my first choice. In fact I probably have it twice a year. BUT THIS… Was. So. Good. Highly recommend the pesto ravioli, sausage pasta, Parmesan garlic toast, and shrimp fondue. Service was great and restaurant was a cute vibe, which feels as important as the food itself.“

“The outside does not do this place justice. I'd categorize it as slightly upscale Italian. Inside is middle tier classy. Perfect for date night and celebrations. Food was delicious with the main dishes mostly starting at the $20 range. Ceaser salad was one of the best I have ever had. Garlic cheese bread is on the garlic-y side but we like it that way. Meatball dish was chefs kiss. We asked the waiter for wine selection recommendation and were super helpful. Wait staff was attentive.“

“This is a unique Italian tradition restaurant. Food representing the various regions of the country. I recommend the appetizer of prosciutto and buratto. Enough for 4 people. Then we shared a fish dish telling our server my daughter and I would share. We had noticed the large portions at the adjacent table. The Icelandic cod was served Trapanese style with capers olives and fresh tiny tomatoes over some sliced potatoes. The chef had carefully divided the dish into individual plates. Briny taste on palate was perfect. We look forward to our next visit. And try the dessert menu for sure.“

“This is a great rest point for people watching and just enjoying some food when enjoying the canal walk. I stopped by with some family after an hour of walking and exploring the area as this was their first time here and they enjoyed it very much. We saw the gondola people while waiting for our food, the service was swift and food was great. We got a chance to rest and cool down and indoors and outdoors seating options allowed us to choose where we wanted to enjoy the scenery and food.“

“Heidi is the absolute best server we’ve ever had at a restaurant. We’ve been coming to this Olive Garden for years and this is the best service we’ve had. She has the most positive attitude and is immediately so welcoming and friendly. We don’t even have to ask or request refills on anything, she automatically brings them. “Fantastic fast food Italian.
First off, to all our foreigners, YES, It's fast food Italian!! So good.
Second, if you have time, stop and eat in the restaurant, even if it's a quick stay. If you're working on your laptop, stay and work away. The staff will bring around fresh FREE, HOT buttery and slightly crunchy mostly soft sticks to your table for you to enjoy!
Third, the food is premade and frozen in special heating containers. Don't expect Momma's homade sauce or candles on the tables. It is a fast food restaurant. The salads, drink and bread sticks are homemade, the rest are precooked meals. And they are DELISH!!!! And they come out HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!

“My wife and I like to just take off to a random town close and visit a Resteraunt that is not a chain Resteraunt . So Italian exceeded all of the expectations we had . “Love their breadsticks. Got the budzza(stuffed pizza) for the first time last night. Two slices and one breadstick and I was so full I could barely walk back to the car. Price isn’t bad either. I spent less on the pizza, full order of sticks and 3 drinks than I did at Taco Bell.“

“When we come into Indy for the Indy mini half marathon, we always stay at the same hotel over by Nonna‘s so Italian so we could get our carbs in the night before. Well, this last weekend we were there for a family wedding and we ordered a pizza ahead so we could have it when we got to the hotel. It was all perfect till I got to the hotel and they called me to tell me we received the wrong pizza two people with the same last name ordered at the same time. They were so gracious and let us keep the pizza we had even though it was probably more expensive than what we had ordered, but we didn’t have much time to wait or return it. So gracious of them to make it so easy on us and let me tell you that pizza was delicious.“

“We love coming here, but we just notice when we come with all my family we are like 10 and they notice we speak Spanish they send a server that speaks Spanish..we also know English we don’t need a translator and I wouldn’t be making this if it didn’t bother me that said servers make faces at us we never asked for a server that knows Spanish to serve us. They make faces at us or we hear them complain 1st of all we never asked for you don’t gloat yourself when we don’t even need you. next time you see a Hispanic looking family don’t send someone that speaks Spanish unless they asked for them. Also we always leave a good tip this last time this happened the person didn’t even do a job didn’t comeback to give refills or even bread we saw other tables getting a lot of bread we always give good tip if you do a good job when we get a white or black server they always do a good not thinking we won’t tip because we are Hispanic I know that stereotype that we don’t give tip.
Also I almost forgot this server was so bad somebody else came to ask us if someone was already helping us took time to come and take our order.“

It’s such an easy, lovely walk from the IRT or Hilbert Circle Theater, and the perfect way to ease from the arts into a cozy, relaxed dinner. We always order the deep dish stuffed veggie supreme (because the veggirs are so fresh… how could we not?) and start with calamari. And yes… the cheese pull is every bit as good as people say. It’s rich, hearty, and honestly—one slice fills me up, two is my husband’s limit! But what really keeps us coming back is the feeling of the place. Sitting by those big windows, people watching, unwinding after the performance—it just turns dinner into an experience. And the service is consistently warm and thoughtful. “Great pizza. Breadsticks and cheezybread are good but not great. My orders are always correct and on time for pickup and fresh out of the oven.

Most sauces are decent. Garlic parm sauce could be a bit more parm and a bit less salt.

Cinnasquares are a pass for me.“
