“I've been to the Foyt Wine Bar in Speedway, IN before today (1/20/2024) but today topped them all. My incredible wife got me a wine tasting and our host Katie held it in the A.J. Foyt Racing Shop right next to the Wine Bar. Katie was the friendliest host you could hope for and gave us a great tour and was generous with the wine and Port pours. For a gear head like me, my lady, wine, race cars, A.J. Foyt, and wine were a perfect match. If you get the chance to stop in Speedway, IN and want a chance to something special, head on over to the A.J. Foyt wine bar and take a tour.Parking: Easy to park around the shop.“
“Great experience! Unstuffy atmosphere, superb food, and really nice server, Eileen, all added up to a phenomenal experience. With a large group-everything was seamless. Appetizers were somewhat familiar but kicked up with a little (delicious) twist or sauce. The wine paired nicely with everything--a Super Sardinian blend (think Super Tuscan) bold but smooth. The Caprese salad was boosted with farrow--comfort food salad. Everyone was very happy with their main course (pasta dishes or the short-rib entree). Excited to go back so we can all try more of the menu.“
“Carlos was amazing! I had the butter cake and sherbert! And my friend had the cheese cake I know it's strange but we came out for desert. It was an amazing place. The music is a vibe and it's a place to visit........ I will return at a later time to indulge in a meal.“
“A friend was in town for the Christmas Gift & Hobby Show, at the fairgrounds, & since he knows that my wife & I are foodies..he asked where would be a good place to go for dinner afterwards? What started out as a recommendation, turned into an invitation, & we went to Capri.. Capri is a local hidden gem that I found out about in a Foodie group that I participate in on Facebook. I mentioned my wife loves Italian food & the recommendations came pouring in. We gave them a shot & it was sooooo gooood. That's why we jumped at the opportunity to go back! Once again, they lived up to, & even exceeded our expectations.. we try something different each time & it seems like they just keep getting better. The food was excellent & service was just as good. If you go, ask for Jason.. he was more like another member of our party than a waiter.. couldn't ask for a better evening filled with good food, fun, & fellowship.. I'm already looking forward to our next trip back.. ?Dietary restrictions: My wife has a few dietary restrictions (tomato allergy.. doesn't like mayo..etc.) but they were always accommodating & made sure her dishes were made to her liking.Parking: They've got their own free parking lot & we've never had a problem finding a space.“
“The food was great and comfortable environment. My biggest complaint was our server. She was barely around while we were there. We asked for refills on drinks, and she never brought them. When she did finally come back, she just handed us the bill and walked off. We asked for boxes, and after a while of waiting, we just left. So, minus the server, everything else was good.“
“We ordered Garlic Bread, Eggplant meatballs (forgot what it was called on the menu) & Calamari for appetizers & they all were delicious. So were the pizzas we ordered for dinner. And the Tiramisu was definitely one of the best I have had in Indy so far.“
“Went with a friend for Devour Indy and was quite pleased! Our waiter, Jay, was attentive and helpful giving suggestions. The octopus appetizer was by far our favorite part of the meal, but everything else was great, too. Will definitely be back!“
“We went to Iozzo’s last month for our anniversary dinner. It was a truly memorable experience. The food was fantastic. Nice outdoor patio with a lovely fountain ⛲️ Our server, Jason, was terrific and very attentive. Chris, the manager, repeatedly checked on us. Now one of our all-time favorite restaurants. We plan to get back in the coming months. William Whitton Shirley Broyles“
“Outstanding dinner service this past week with excellent food. The dining room is dimly lit and rustic with murals of mountain "views". There's a bar area and a family room for gatherings. We went for my boyfriend's birthday. We tried the complimentary bread and oil - it was just ok. But our meal was delicious! I had the filet medallions with crab over mashed potatoes with asparagus. I failed to see mashed potatoes in the menu so when it came I was like oh this is weird...seafood and mashed potatoes?! But trust me: the combo with the sauce the pour over top works perfectly . It was a very good meal. My boyfriend had a big, juicy ribeye. The quality of beef they serve is better than average restaurant fare so he was pleased. He had the seasoned broccoli and wedges. The broccoli was under seasoned, so just a warning to ask for salt and pepper. We'll definitely be back again!“
“We were In town for a baseball tournament trying to find a place to have dinner for our sons bday that’s tomorrow and randomly found this place and let me say best place I’ve ever been the owner came out welcomed us and made our son feel so special on his bday thank you so much again highly recommend best calzone and soda I’ve ever had !!“
“We came for Devour on a Saturday night. We were able to make a reservation and get in quick when we couldn't get in to another restaurant and boy was I thankful we ate here instead! A local family ran restaurant with wonderful service and even better Italian food. I texted my whole family saying we need to come here. Will be back! I recommend The chicken piccata and the meatballs were SO good.“
“My wife loves Italian food so we've tried most of the different Italian places in town. Mama Corolla's is my wife's favorite & is the standard that we use to measure all others. Sangiovese is the first place that she's put anywhere close to on Mama Corolla's level.. & to be honest, I think they may have even surpassed them.. when I ask her now where she wants to go, whether it's for a romantic date night, or just to get a carryout to take home.. Sangiovese has become her go to..?Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating when it came to modifying dishes for my wife's dietary restrictions.“
“Ordered carry out lunch just prior to 3pm. Picked up my house salad and deep dish personal sausage pizza about 25 minutes later and it was great. The personal pizza is of similar quality to the regular sizes and all that for a little over $12.“
“I went there because I craved Chicken Piccata. *I recommend it, btw*Cons:-It can be a little bit of a wait, but that's because they're busy, not lazy. And it was nothing ridiculous, just don't expect to walk in and get a table.-Parking was tight (but everywhere seems to be in Indianapolis)Pros:-Friendly and attentive staff-Didn't feel rushed or pressured (I'm a slow eater)-Prices were reasonable (esp for what you get)-Drink was well made10 out of 10. I would visit again if I lived there.“
“This small family run pizza joint is amazing. Thin crust pizza that is wood fired with just the right amount of burnt crusty edges. Took two friends who had never been and they thought it was out of this world. Always a stop for us before a BU BBall game.“
“First time we went to the restaurant. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Our food came out promptly, was hot and well-prepared. Everything was tasty! The reviews on the restaurant were spot on and I will pay it forward to and recommend to others.“
“My husband and I won the Valentine's Day meal for two through Do317.com. The staff was extremely kind and accomodating, even knowing that the $60 meal was free for us through the contest. Our waiter was also still very attentive, easy to talk to, and welcoming. Our food was EXCELLENT. They even ended up covering our entire check, including our wine--we were pleasantly surprised! We could not have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be returning!“
“Im not a review leaving type of guy, this pizza deserves it though. I’ve never had a deep dish this good. All of the ingredients complemented each other. The crust was a soft slightly charred packed full of flavor. We will definitely be back.“
“Love their breadsticks. Got the budzza(stuffed pizza) for the first time last night. Two slices and one breadstick and I was so full I could barely walk back to the car. Price isn’t bad either. I spent less on the pizza, full order of sticks and 3 drinks than I did at Taco Bell.“
“Pulled up on the “Christmas Bike” Motorcycle in full Jolly Grinch attire tonight. The staff loved it so much h and one by one came to take pics (and of course receive a candy cane). They enjoyed it so much they comped my meal. The Pizza Baked past was AWESOME as always. Staff was so fun and friendly. Great experience!“
“Looking for Italian lunch this past Saturday. Had never heard of this place & decided to try. It is a delightful place & food was absolutely delish!! Nothing fancy, very simple, & staff is wonderful. I'm on a mission now to tell folks about this charmer & I definitely will be back. The tiramasu is some of the best I've ever had!! Thank you for a lovely experience!!“
“Stumbled across opening day on a trip through town and what a delight!! Tasty sandwiches and great flatbread pizzas. Beautiful (and ample!!!) outdoor seating options along the canal with plenty of shaded tables (and indoor seating too). Such cheerful and helpful team working --seems like they enjoy working there almost as much as we enjoyed eating there. And s'mores at the table Kid-friendliness: Tasty, good quality kid choices and outdoor seating for the kid win. Bonus of s'mores if they eat their whole sandwich ?“
“This restaurant was beautiful, the staff was super friendly and was quick to serve us and refill drinks. The bread was melt in your mouth delicious. My pasta was pretty good, but the fettuccine had an interesting after taste to it like Asiago cheese has which is my only complaint.“
“We usually get pizza, but last time we were there I saw some pasta meals that sounded delicious, so had planned in advance to order our pizza to go (as we live too far away to frequent, we stock our freezer as to enjoy Lou's on a more regular basis). We shared an order of mozzarella sticks and a bowl of pasta with Lou's sausage and vodka sauce - an excellent decision. The place is decorated like an amusement park with a section of roller coaster track, so it's pretty fun. I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because it seems to always be chilly in there.“
“Vongole E Vino was a perfect starter, great flavor, and presentation. For the main dish, Osso Buco, with mushrooms and pea risotto, did not disappoint. Music was on an enjoyable volume, a speakeasy place. Lighting, service, and facilities on point. This place it's being run from somebody who cares about their clientele experience. Definitely will come back.!“
“My children and I have been to this location twice in the last 3 months. While we had similar experiences this last time the food tasted like the B team made it(Tuesday). The first time everything exceeded expectations (Saturday). This most recent visit was good, just not great as I know it can be. The seafood ravioli cream sauce was broke and very oily. The meatballs were not as tender, even the sausage texture and seasoning seemed different. Not horrible but not as good. Still worth a try and good value but missed the details on the food this time. Service was great and upbeat both times. The building is beautiful inside.“
“Food was very yummy and hot like it should be when it was brought out to us unlike other locations where it wasn't as hot as it was as It was at this location. I'm wondering do they no longer offer extra bread sticks when you dine in since we were never offered any which is the reason for only 4 Stars. It was nice and warm inside since it was cold outside and we stayed warm where at the other two locations we had to leave our coats on if it was cold out since it was also cold inside.“
“Got to go tonight it was okay the lady who brought our food out was lovely! BUT we lost a whole order of breadtsicks bc both sides were not sealed on the breadstick bag and they ended up on the floorThat was upsettingAlso we got the two, to go fetticini Alfredo, and yes they are great for me, but when you microwave it the Alfredo separates from the oil and doesn't look appetizing I know that's out of olive gardens hands just fair wanting other customers order it fresh if you don't like oily Alfredo if so do it I think it tastes better!Thank you“
“A City Market must try!I recently dropped by for a meal. My first choice, a shrimp po’ boy, was sold out. The lady behind the counter was quick to recommend the chicken sandwich. Her enthusiasm is certainly admirable. After re-reviewing the menu, I ultimately took her advice. Topped with a unique flavored coleslaw between French style bread, it was nothing short of delicious!A staple eatery in the good ol’ City Market that’s well worth trying!“
“I was in Keystone Crossing, Indiana for a work trip. The Fashion Mall was 5 mins walk from where I stayed. I decided to try this artisanal pizza spot, and I was not disappointed. Service was great, pizza was yummy. They have outdoor seating which I enjoyed as the weather was perfect. This was first time eating pizza with a heavy portion of arugula, and I loved it.“
“This place never ever disappoints. I've eatting at a lot of pizza restaurants and places and this place is hands down the best in the city. The customer services is above par. This place makes you feel like home and with the smell of fresh baked dough that has a aroma all its own. I'm definitely coming back..Kid-friendliness: The chairs are plastered with comics super heros and all kinds of cool art and images the back patio is fenced in so the kids can play in safety it's a refreshing piece of mind for a parent“
“I’ve never had a better experience than I have With the team at this location. We had a decently large order for a group of us in town that had a miscommunication and the order was a bit off. We called and explained what happened and the rest of our order was here within 20 minutes. UNBELIEVABLE customer service from Ben!“
“Really really good quality pizza and place. You can tell the dough, ingredients and even the restaurant are well taken care of like they do overseas. The flavor isn't very potent which is the one thing I'll say about the food. It's good and fresh, but maybe not spiced or seasoned well enough. The potency of the flavor isn't strong. Also, I wish they had a smaller than 16" pizza options, birthday deals, and better quality fountain drinks. My water tasted like a sprite. And the pizza are huge. Other than that it was great.I just had the cheese pizza with extra sauce and a glass of house merlot. .“
