We were given tea to try which was tasty and then given the same to take home. Just because she wanted to. We had a family member with a birthday and they came out singing with a drum and a special desert. She also came out as we were paying with more food to take home and try. She went above and beyond. “Chris and his staff from Burgerhaus put on our event for the Valparaiso Girl's Basketball team. It was our end of the year banquet. Because of the size of the party, 110 people, they were unable to facilitate us in their space, however, they were able to use LePeep's space for the event. Chris coordinated everything with us as we went through the planning process. He was thoughtful, polite, kind, accommodating, and quick to help solve any issues. The food was DELICIOUS! It was cooked on-site, was hot and so so tasty! We had sliders with all the fixins, mac & cheese, salad with many dressings, and, of course, their delectable French fries! There was PLENTY of food for everyone. They allowed us to bring our own cake for dessert. They accommodated our screen and other technology that we brought in. Chris and his staff helped us to move the tables and chairs whevever we needed to in order to allow everyone to sit where they wanted and still see the presentations. If this wasn't my daughter's senior year, I would be contacting Chris and his phenomenal staff for another banquet!“

“My husband and I tried Semento's for the first time last night. We were amazed by the entire experience. We were greeted by friendly staff, seated promptly, waitress (Stephanie L) provided excellent service, and the food was hot and delicious!! We ordered an app, my husband had the prime rib, I ordered the patty melt, and we both had a cocktail. Everything was delicious! The music was a little loud but appropriate for the atmosphere. We could still chat and enjoy our meals. The portions were hearty and I took home the leftovers with actual intention of eating later because it was so good! Cost was reasonable for the amount of food we received. Everything was clean, even the restroom. We will definitely return!“

“Tonight me, my fiance and little sister went to Zao Island and went on the GoKarts. We did all the laps and got called back in. While us three were stopped ready to get out, I heard a mom say “slow down” and her child drove into the back of my cart, didn’t brake at all and I hit my head so hard on the back of my seat. To the mom, you and your little boy are not at fault at all! The workers should’ve said slow down or show them how to brake beforehand. They didn’t even check if any of us were okay afterwards. I think there needs to be an age restriction on the GoKarts or at least a mandatory demonstration for the little ones before they drive. I absolutely love Zao and mean no harm but the workers for the GoKarts needed to handle the situation better for the future. 🫶🏻“

Food is authentic and delicious! Best Mexican food I’ve had in Indiana. The salsa’s are spicy and you can tell they use quality ingredients in all of their food. The tortas are hearty and taste great!

“Parea is very good for an upper scale restaurant in downtown Valpo and could very well be my local favorite for a sit down dinner. The service here has always been very good and the servers seem like pretty down to Earth individuals (at least those I've spoken to). The atmosphere is very nice and the bar area is no exception. The food is the real show here and it (Mostly) never disappoints. The food is about what I'd expect, it's very good, but oftentimes I feel like it's lacking a little something that makes it really shine as opposed to other high end restaurants I've been to in other towns. It's also pretty pricey which is expected for a restaurant of this caliber, but with that high price comes an expectation that the food will be excellent. And for the most part, it does not disappoint.“

“It was our first time visiting the Viking Chili Bowl in Valpo. We called ahead for a table since we were a party of 6. Glad we did. Even though the place was packed, we had excellent, friendly service. I was impressed that our food arrived as soon as it did. The food was good. My husband absolutely loved the ham. Portions are big. My granddaughter barely got through a half on one of her pancakes. I had the fish sandwich with Onion rings. Sandwich was standard. I really enjoyed the rings. My husband and I ordered the chili to go for dinner. I have to say, I was disappointed. The only negative. The chili looked very processed. Like it came straight from a can. It was an unappealing brown color and it didn't taste good. Guess I had a sort of expectation from the restaurant's name. Again, everything else was pleasant and enjoyable outside of the Chili. We look forward to returning some time.“

“Had wrote a review a few days ago regarding a coupon not being utilized for a 50% off. I just deleted the review on accident but wanted to update to anyone who had read that. A manager contacted me and apologized for the mistake that had been made. The young man that had taken the order was fairly new and has now been educated on how to process that particular type of coupon. Managment was extremely apologetic and quick to recover and make me feel much better about the situation. They offered a credit for the WHOLE pizza!!! We well absolutely order from Rosati‘s again as that is our favorite pizza and the closest to Chicago as we can get in pizza.“

“Well everyone always tells me if you have bad service once you should always try again. Well I did and guess what service was still bad. With only 9 people in the bar area we asked for menus and drinks. We got the drinks but the bartender was too busy on her phone to come back and take our order. After waiting almost 30 minutes I walked out. I use to go there at least three times a week. Never again.“

“11/1/25. The pizza was awesome but the dining experience was not. We arrived about 45 minutes after they opened for the day and the dining area was a mess! Tables weren’t cleaned off and the floor was dirty. It almost looked like the mess was from the night before because the dining room lights weren’t even turned on yet when we walked in. During our stay not a single employee came out to cleaned anything up and there was at least 4 of them that I saw. “It was Date Night and we recieved an Applebee's card for Christmas so we decided to cash in. I decided to start with a Cocktail it was a Berry Merry Colada, ( a pina colada with strawberry swirl) and an order of Mozzarella Sticks....Soooo Good!!! For our entrees we decided on Steak. I decided to get the Shrimp 'N' Parmesan Sirloin (medium rare) with Mashed Potatoes and a Squash Medley with Summer Squash and Zucchini. Everything was delicious but unfortunately my boyfriends order did not come out as perfect as mine did. My boyfriend ordered an 8oz.Top Sirlion (medium rare) with double Mashed Potatoes and it came out Raw. The outside was cooked but the inside was not. We Hate to complain but it was literally inedible. So we let our waitress know and she apologized and took it off the bill immediately. We ended up ordering him an order of Boneless Wings ( Honey BBQ) and they were perfect. I know accidents happen so we are not terribly upset and our waitress was an Absolute Rockstar who was juggling a few tables all at once and getting everyone what they needed. She was Incredible and did Everything she could to make it right!! Thank you!! We Appreciate You!!“
