“We were there for the first time tonight and we loved it! The first thing I noticed was that the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated and much larger than I anticipated. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu was huge and our food came quickly. The food was excellent, as was our margarita and the quantities filled us up. Prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back!“

I was told that they have been in business 42 years! WOW, and I can see why. They are very friendly and treat you well. The food is fantastic and the locals are very laid back and make you feel welcome as well. If I was local to the area, this bar would be my base! “One of the best Italian beef Sammie in that area, don't live by there but try to make it at least once a week with my older brother,it is 1 of our lunch location when I visit him weekly and we go their,we used to go to there every weekend with are father and one of are uncles, it's a family thing and we still love it and we both are in our early 60s so say we've been going there for the fifty plus years. “Well everyone always tells me if you have bad service once you should always try again. Well I did and guess what service was still bad. With only 9 people in the bar area we asked for menus and drinks. We got the drinks but the bartender was too busy on her phone to come back and take our order. After waiting almost 30 minutes I walked out. I use to go there at least three times a week. Never again.“

“Not sure if they're affiliated, but we had eaten at the Schererville location and liked it so we' thought we'd try the Merrillville location this time around. Really love the decor inside and out, as well as the atmosphere. We were greeted warmly by a gentleman who may have been a manager? Seated right away. This was at 5:30 on a Saturday and not very crowded so that was nice. Our waiter took a bit of time to greet us, but once we ordered our drinks they came fairly quickly. Not so much with the food. Mexican restaurants are notoriously quick when it comes to delivering your food right away so I was actually okay with having a bit of extra time before eating. That said everything was slow thereafter. I was out of water and never got a refill. Took a minute for the waiter check in after we finished our food. Needed boxes and again, after delivering therm, he was MIA. Finally got the check.

All of the employees were friendly and professional, I just felt like the waiter could have been a bit more attentive.
