“Best in KC! Can't beat their ribs. Their burnt ends can't be beat. Brisket is delicious. Backed beans are top of the line. Their cheesy corn is the best. My wife's cousin travels a lot and uses Roscoe's as his standard to judge other BBQ restaurants.”

“Took a minute to get the sandwich made but the girl made sure it was made right. The bread was baked perfectly and the meat tasted very fresh. As a trucker I rarely find good subways and this one was great.

Parking: Limited semi truck parking, it’s $15 a night. If you park for an hour during the day they usually don’t complain”

“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.”

“This place is a must try if you're looking for something quaint, romantic, and personal, yet with the quality and atmosphere of your favorite location. The owners, Dan and Carla, were so personable and spoke to us at our table, giving us the history and story of “The Castle”, and also giving us wine preferences, valuable life recommendations, and a celebratory rose in a wine carafe for our anniversary. Our waitress, Ashley, was great as well, and made our experience top notch. The experience here was one of our most memorable and is definitely a place we will be back to and will recommend to anyone we talk to. Give them a visit, you won't regret it!”

“Usually great food, and we est here often. However, last week we were 100% dissatisfied! First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.”
