“Didn’t feel like cooking on a Friday night so we ordered burgers from here. Have lived in Eudora for five years and have never tried their food. Very pleasantly surprised how good it was! Pricing was great too. We’ll definitely be ordering from here again.“

“I visited the Nostalgia Room for the first time on Mother's Day. I loved the relaxing vibe, the fun and funky decor. Everyone working there was so nice and the Mother's Day menu was delicious (we tried several things), as was my Chai Latte. It's one of those places you hope is very popular so it's around a long time, but not too busy when you go that you can't find a spot.“

“Visiting from Florida and Joe was fantastic! The bar reminds me of our beach bars back home (minus the beach of course). Joe was lively, friendly, and personable. We went mid afternoon on a Saturday and the bar wasn’t too crowded. Drinks were great and you can’t beat the price. Very happy that I got to experience this place and that we got to meet Joe.“

“I was actually expecting a simple tavern when I came into town to perform this past Friday. Once inside though, the venue had a night club vibe to it. Still intimate, but more upscale than a regular bar. The layout is nice and clean. Plus the downstairs room is pretty cool and isolated to the point where 2 separate events can be held simultaneously. Bottom line is, Elmo's is a nice spot with good vibes and staff. Can't wait to return in a couple of months. Thanks for a good time.“

“This is a great little bar that is mostly a well kept secret amongst local Lawrencians. Great service, great drinks, fun atmosphere and a fantastic patio. The best part though are the open mics that draw exceptional local artists and live music in an intimate setting on the weekends. As a musician, I love playing here!“

“I've been to alot of concerts here. I like all the seating. The bathrooms are super small. I wish they would offer more drink choices like bottles of mikes hard lemonade, seagrams wine coolers, and smirnoff wine coolers.“

“Went here on a spur of the moment, looking for a fun place to eat while in Lawrence. Didn’t want to just go to another chain restaurant. We were immediately excited being a car family, the old truck in the parking lot. When we went in there is a calendar being sold to raise money for troubled kids. It immediately felt like the right place to be. The atmosphere was so much fun! We had the absolute best waitress, Caroline. She was so welcoming, and fun to be around. We just celebrated our daughter’s birthday in heaven, and we really needed a good time out. We are looking forward to coming back soon! We felt like we’d known Caroline forever and she was truly a dose of sunshine on our rainy day!“

“I love their pizza. There’s not that much to it. I am nitpicking but it could be a little cheaper per slice(3.00$ now), but people have to make a living. This pizza is a little bit similar to casy pizza. So if you don’t like greasy pizza, this is not the place for you.“

“Atmosphere is great. Great cross of a towny and dive. Has different levels that has different vibes. However, the bartender Sophia R. Is not very nice. My group asked if a specific friend of ours was working the main bar and she was very dismissive and rude for asking. Then proceeded to be rude to us and other patrons beside us. I understand that service work is grueling and at times unforgiving, but she was especially rude. We like taproom, but would not visit if she is on shift. Otherwise, always a great experience. Great authentic Lawrence atmosphere.“

“Leroys is the place to be in Lawrence if you have a big group! We just had a Delta Upsilon Fraternity Alumni party there and it more than accommodated what we needed. The location is great, awesome TVs everywhere, cold drinks and great service! The Chiefs won! This is a fantastic venue and great for Lawrence!“

“First time trying Pizza here….was recommended by two separate college students. SO good, it was 100% worth the wait! They are not kidding about the slices being as big as your face….wow. But beyond that, the ingredients are fresh, flavorful, and the topping amounts are amazing! Definitely recommend and will be coming back!!“
