“Hamburger's were big and cooked as ordered. Mushroom's were very good. As were onion rings, all food was still hot at the table. Beer was cold and mixed drink's were made correctly. Service was outstanding. I would definitely be back, if i wasn't visiting.“

“I've been going to this place for years. I live in Topeka, it's only a short ride away.I've seen some killer bands here, for very inexpensive. I dont drink alcohol anymore, but I do enjoy the free water ? .The patio always goes off, Everybody dances and the Djs have awesome energy. They keep it heated in the winter. It's just a great spot if you want to feel good and have fun. Glad we have stuff like this nearby, cuz Topeka has nothing.Thanks for all you guys do!“

“I was visiting family for the holidays. I visited the Sandbar, to watch a Chiefs game. It was awesome they hosted a potluck and had random specials for shots. Everyone was inviting and chatty. Best of all super dog friendly. I mean like, dogs off leash with no one freaking out. I loved my visit.“

“Hosted a college party event here and I couldn't be happier with the bar and their staff. Rented out the entire place and got a classic bar upstairs with a dance club vibe downstairs. They had everything we could have wanted like special made shots, party games, and an outdoor seats to escape too.The staff were easy to communicate with and super helpful with bouncing, cleaning, and and answering any questions.The drinks were very affordable and so was the rental price.Overall I can recommend them to anyone looking for a space to host in. 10/10 will work with again. “An amazing place to meet up with friends and family in a space that's been thoughtfully and beautifully curated. As the other reviewer mentions, it's perfect for the sober curious and sober Lawrencian plus their visitors for a mocktail or the person who wants a solid coffee drink in an adorable space just off the main downtown street Mass Ave. My Oklahoma Rose mocktail was insanely good and others all looked great too. I want to try their coffee next time - they have a rose agave house made signature syrup that looks amazing.“

“We liked our food. The potato cakes were like my mom makes. Very nostalgic to have yolky eggs with potato cakes. I really liked the different coffee options including that decaf, which was delicious. The waitress was very helpful with her suggestions. I want to go back and try the eggs Benedict, they looked really good too.“

“A favorite local bar for me, my husband and our furbaby. They don't serve food but you are welcome to bring your own. If you want a snack they do have complimentary popcorn. It's a great place to catch a Jayhawk or Chiefs football game .... it can get loud but isn't that the point. Our favorite bartenders are Pastor Pat and Kanonni. It's always a great time!“

“I love this place. They serve really excellent food for a decent price. The specials are always good. They have really good burgers as well. Some of my favorite meals from here are the open face roast beef, the CFS, the smoked Carolina gold chicken sandwich. The servers are all very nice and take care of the guests extremely well.“

“We happened to be driving from Colorado to Maryland on Christmas day when we came across this little gem. The people at Beer 30 were super welcoming and invited us to play in their reindeer games. “What a lovely cocktail bar. Happy hour is near daily from 5-7. They have NA options and so many craft cocktails. Each room is a different theme, and they have a small outdoor patio. The bartender is lovely and can help make recommendations. My mocktail was 5$. So affordable“

“This place gets a 5 star because of the people who frequent this bar. Nebraska is currently dealing with massive flooding and blizzard conditions which is where I live. Had multiple people give their condolences and expressed concern with lack of national media coverage. The staff was great as well as the atmosphere. Enjoyed myself.“

“We were in town for OU softball all the way from Wisconsin. We decided to try to find something to eat after the Friday 3/29 game so we drove down near the campus. We stumbled upon Papa Keno's and wandered in cuz the pizza smell drew us in. A young girl welcomed us at the counter and was absolutely the most polite and helpful young lady I've met in a long time. She helped explain the menu and offered her help in getting us what we were looking for. The food was amazing and came out quick. The outdoor seating area was awesome! Well done PK!“

“I love their pizza. There’s not that much to it. I am nitpicking but it could be a little cheaper per slice(3.00$ now), but people have to make a living. This pizza is a little bit similar to casy pizza. So if you don’t like greasy pizza, this is not the place for you.“

“Leroys is the place to be in Lawrence if you have a big group! We just had a Delta Upsilon Fraternity Alumni party there and it more than accommodated what we needed. The location is great, awesome TVs everywhere, cold drinks and great service! The Chiefs won! This is a fantastic venue and great for Lawrence!“

“Today I have the shepherd's pie special for lunch and it was delicious. I especially liked the fresh ground lamb, fresh ingredients, attentive service, nice atmosphere. I if you haven't been for a while I'd highly recommend trying the holiday mules and specials created by Chef Mark, and recommend reservations for groups. You won't be disappointed. I've greatly enjoyed every meal that I've had these last few months. Well worth the trip!“

“I've been to Harbor Lights many times. It's my friends and my favorite lunch spot. A very homey feel. They have great food and yummy desserts. My favorite sandwich is chicken salad on a French roll. I usually have coffee or tea depending on the time and chips. I also like their salads.“
