“I normally don't like places like this but the food was piping hot and incredible I was tired and irritated from a long days drive from Illinois all the way here and the waitress greeted us with love flavor was 1000/10 and if I ever come back to visit family will come here every time I'm in town hands down best sushi I've ever ate“

“With only a couple Mexican restaurants in the area, there’s really not a lot of choice. In this instance, you don’t have to settle. La Mesa is excellent Mexican cuisine and, with inflation being what it is, it’s a generously priced option.

With four adults, two kids, and four margaritas, we were just above $100 before tip. Try feeding six with drinks for that price anywhere else and you’ll find that it’s easier said than done.

Everything was great. Really not a lot to highlight because it was all very solid. For the sake of critique, I would say the frozen margaritas were the lowest point of the meal, but they were still good (just not GREAT).

Make a trip if you haven’t already because this stop is worth it.“

The manager, Ashley, went above and beyond and interacted with our daughters. Showed them the kitchen, gave them stickers, and printed them their own personalized cartoon characters to color with while they waited. AND brought them out bowls of ice cream to decorate for dessert! What an awesome experience it was for us!“

“Usually great food, and we est here often. However, last week we were 100% dissatisfied! First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.“

One tiny gripe is we sat almost under vents in the ceiling by the front door and they need cleaned bad. I think I saw a piece of lint fall when a family opened the door. I have been eating Chipotle burritos for years.. but the Al Pastor burrito that I got today was a thousand times better than any Chipotle burrito I ever had! No joke. “Our party of 7 went tonight to celebrate the youngest kiddo turning 19. We were promptly greeted upon walking in and the hostess was very polite. Our server greeted us and handed us menus as we sat down. He was full of smiles and very polite. He had his hands full as we kept asking questions and ordering drinks and appetizers. He did it all with courtesy and again, lots of smiles. Our cook was incredible. He didn't like talking much but he always had a smile on his face and told our daughter Happy Birthday. They came out with a drum and sang to her and everyone clapped and wished her a Happy Birthday. What an incredible experience!! We will def be back! OH!!! Several sushi rolls were ordered as well and ALL of the food was delicious. 0 complaints!! Thank you all for making our daughter's birthday dinner a hit!!!!“
