“I was in Onaga, KS (staying in Centralia, KS) for school with some classmates and we headed to Manhattan, KS for a day trip. All 5 of us are from California. All but one are from larger cities, so the Kansas life was a culture shock to us and we needed some city time on our free day. I'm a foodie, so...Of course, I checked out Yelp to find us an early dinner spot. So Long Saloon came up with good ratings, so we headed there. The menu is pretty simple by my standards. Most of us ordered burgers and I got an order of fried pickles to share. "Frickles," if you will. Haha. The frickles were a big hit with me and my classmates. I've never had fried pickles that were so crunchy before. And I loved my burger. I forget what it was called, but it have a deliciously soft fried egg in it with a yolk that burst on my first bite. If I ever find myself in Kansas again, I'd try to stop by here. I really want to try their peanut butter burger. The service was FANTASTIC. We had multiple people checking up on us. They were super attentive and incredibly friendly. The saloon and decorated as one would expect a saloon to be. I love that casual, dive type of feel, so I loved it. Don't be alarmed to find stuffed animals everywhere you go in Kansas. Seems to be a staple around there.“
“I used to eat here at least 1-2x week when I was working downtown, and I have eaten most of what's on the menu. The menu rotates seasonally, I believe, and honestly there will be something for everybody, you gotta go try it out. The servers, bartenders, cooks, and hostesses work together so well and so seamlessly that eating small plated offerings and drinking cocktails feels more like social hour than lunch or dinner. Also, the craft cocktails are so fun and delicious, and of course the bourbon! “Their Mac and Cheese grilled cheese sandwich is amazing! They have donuts, corn dogs, and several other items.It is in a good spot to walk to after a drink or two. If you had no drinks the sandwich I referenced earlier would still be good. The prices are good for the food received.“

“Ordered delivery through Uber Eats. Ordered the Mac n Cheese bites and the Bleu Bacon burger. One of the best burgers I have ever had, the cheese was nice and strong, burger was cooked absolutely perfectly, bacon was done just the way I like it. “My daughter brought the noon special today bierocks with German potato salad and drink very very good I would highly recommend this place. Washington needs a good HOMEMADE cafe even the bread was homemade. Only reason why it’s 4.9 stars is because hamburger was to brown and the potato salad was a little too oily for my comfort. “I had a military reunion and Old Chicago catered it for me. The staff and management was amazing and everything was ready on time they helped load everything in to the vehicle. The food was a hit with everyone and there was nothing left at the end of the night. Apparently the ranch dressing is the best around because there was a “fight” on who got to take the left over ranch home with them! It was a great time and I highly recommend Old Chicago to anyone needing a catered event.“

We have had some issues with service (wrong orders, not knowing the order input to use it efficiently, etc.) but the last two times we have been in the drive-thru and Serena took our order, made the Mix-Ins and delivered them. Serena's customer service is INCREDIBLE! She is kind, patient, knows the product and is friendly and genuinely seems happy to be there! We appreciate her service and Culver's should strive to hire more employees like that.“

“I'd been told from friends that the bread pudding was amazing, so I have Powercat a try. I'd knew it was a burger place, and I'm vegetarian, but my server, Whitney, was AMAZING and told me they could do any style burger I wanted with a veggie burger. It was delicious, and Whitney checked to make sure I was completely satisfied. Best french fries I think I've ever had. Them came the bread pudding and they're had been no exaggeration, it was a huge slice, warm, with carmel sauce. I was raised on bread pudding and this definitely did not disappoint. So good.
