“This is our favorite taco place! The food is delicious and I can get beef cheek here. I placed a carry out order and service was prompt and courteous. They made sure I had everything I needed before I left. I cannot say enough good things about Taqueria La Nueva!! Love this place ♥️“
“Go check out their new location. I’ve been coming here for about 3 years and have always liked it but it rivaled one of my favs in Overland Park. Tonight they blew them out of the water. They have definitely been putting their all into the not only the restaurant but the food too and I could definitely tell. Best meal I’ve had in a while. Tacos al pastor always hits but tonight it was other worldly. Also ordered pozole, tamales and elote. All was so fire will definitely be coming more often than I was.“
“Congratulations, you’ve found the place. If you know you know. Everybody loves Street Tacos. The only downside of eating at Street Tacos is that any time you’re eating at a different taco place, you’ll wish you were eating at Street Tacos. Friends will insist that I come try their favorite taco place, and it’s never as good as Street Tacos. Not even close. This has happened to me multiple times. At Street Tacos, the meat is tender and flavorful, the portions are VERY generous, the service is great, the tortillas are soft and warm, the salsa is fresh, the drinks are cold, the pastries are sweet, and the prices are reasonable, especially on Tuesday.I lament the time before I discovered Street Tacos. When I am old and gray, and twilight is upon me, I want to eat my last meal at Street Tacos. If God has a favorite restaurant, it’s probably Street Tacos. If you’re still reading this for some reason, what are you doing? Quit wasting your time. You could be on your way to Street Tacos. I recommend the Pastor or the Doraditos.“
“FINALLY, someone has mastered a delicious Hefeweizen in KC. The flavor has so much depth… reminds me of top-notch original European Hefeweizen‘s that are difficult to compete with. Thank you to the stockyard brewmaster for bringing me the fulfillment I yearn for in trying new beers!!!!!!“
“Service-5/5 Food-4/5 Atmosphere-4.5/5 Our first time here and it was tasty! I got the prickly pear margarita and it was very tasty! I also ordered the shrimp quesadillas and I was surprised by the amount of shrimp. I often feel like shrimp quesadillas don't have a good amount of shrimp but this one definitely does! It is smothered in cheese and filled with cheese so it's a bit of a cheese! Our server was super nice and attentive. I want to go back here and try their queso for sure“
“Food was very delicious and authentic to mexican cuisine. I had a torta and fries and they gave plenty of fries and not a small portion like some restaurants. The torta was exceedingly good, the bread didn’t get all soggy and fall apart and meat was seasoned just right. 10/10 recommend!“
“Wow, this truck is now my go to for legit Mexican food. Their quesabirria is spot on and we finally found pastor that is more similar to what we were used to in LA. They are new to town so the lines are still short/non-existent but I'm sure it won't be long before it gets busier.“
“This is one of the top 3 best places to get tacos in Kansas City. They have a wide variety of options but I always get the lengua. Their chips and queso is perfect and I love that they’re open late. They have a condiment bar where you can dress up your tacos exactly how you like them. Highly recommend.“
“Environment is open, bright, colorful, and lively music that has rotational ethnic notes (not just Latin pop music) tacos are large portioned in proteins for the price (you definitely don't need more than 3) the drinks are flavorful and strong. The salsas were delicious (favorites were the tomatillo, jalapeño, and salsa macha) chips were fresh tasting and flavored with tajin and salt. The quesadilla was delicious and loaded with cheese, came with a creamy chipotle style sauce, very good dipped in the green salsas as well...the pastor was flavorful and pineapple gave a fresh bite. Asada was well seasoned and texture was chewy without the work of stringy meat. The barbacoa is flavorful and juicy. The shrimp and chorizo was definitely the meal favorite, the chorizo is soft textured and salty that went well with the battered shrimp, 10/10 on that one. The sad fellow was the fish taco...due to so much slaw topping and it being wet and creamy you lost the crispy batter of the fish and drowned out the flavor. The fish by itself was delicious but was overpowered by the soggy mess on top. Wouldn't try the fish again unless they did a lighter slaw or non cream one. The pickled onions, pepinos and radish on the side was delicious to pair with everything to give fresh bites on the palate before the next bites. The passion fruit margaritas were tangy and sweet, loved the taste. The horchata was thin but creamy in texture, perfect for a hot day (and free refills on auga frescas was too goo to pass up) the michalada was perfectly balanced and you can choose your own beer. The market is hardly that but it has cute items in it. The space is way better than the businesses here before and would definitely come again“
“Shared the cheese and chips dip as an appetizer. Good stuff! Dip has a little heat(calor and caliente)to it. Served in a cast iron skillet. Even the kids ate it. I had a cod taco and one other that I can't remember the name(was a Spanish word). Both were excellent. I tried a bite of the cowboy thing also, and it was very good too. Only complaints I have is the service seemed a little slow. And 6 is the number of people in the group that they automatically charge a 22 percent tip. And all the have is the bar high chairs. I prefer my feet to touch the ground. Small quibbles compared to the quality and taste of the food.Parking: In the city market district, so parking is limited, especially on a Saturday when everyone else is there also.Wheelchair accessibility: They have two levels, separated by a high step. The upper(street) level is the only part that is wheelchair accessible. But all of the tables are high to support the high bar chairs, so I'm not sure how that would work for wheelchairs anyway.“
“I made an impromptu decision to eat lunch here after shopping with my toddler. The staff was extremely friendly and kind not only to me, but to my daughter as well. The cashier gave me AMAZING taco recommendations- the birria taco and Thai chicken were so good! When my toddler got a random wild hair and swiped my tacos off the table and onto the floor before I was finished, the chef immediately noticed and went back to make me another taco at no cost- even though it was our fault. They were all so kind and understanding and amazing service like that beyond fantastic food should absolutely be recognized. Thank you all so much for such a wonderful and stress free lunch experience!“
“My favorite Mexican food in KC, period. More "street style" than traditional restaurant style, and the food is just amazing. I've known the owner, Don Memo (Guillermo) for years, as he used to run the taco truck in front of Olivares Auto Garage, at Independence Ave/Denver on the Missouri side. His tacos were fantastic then, and are just next-level awesome now that he has an actual kitchen to work with. If you're looking to just sit down and enjoy some wonderful authentic Mexican food (antojitos) without the expense of a large restaurant, and without having to sit outside like at a taco truck, this is the place to go.“
“Solid authentic food truck. I live in the neighborhood and I've stopped three or four times now and it has never disappointed. My girlfriend is a gringo so I typically only order Asada, Pastor, and Chorizo, no stomach or cheek, but they are top notch and we love the grilled onions, cucumbers, and radishes that come with them and the green salsa is delicious. Can't go wrong here and super affordable.“
“Love the food! Customer service is okay, nothing over the top friendly-wise; but not rude, pushy, etc. love the look of the truck: the colors, the flashy LED lights, and the awning size set up to the side of truck is enough to keep you dry if it's raining and there is one small table to "dine-in" if you wish. We will return again and again.“
“I took my daughter and her family here. We got there at an odd time, between the lunch and dinner rush. If I can't verify something I do not down check, especially since it might have been something I did. Also I can always come back and edit. The food was hot and tasty. A lot of times you hit between hours and you get leftovers. If that's what they did here and personally I don't think so, they serve very good leftovers. LOL. I and most of my family eat when we are hungry, not because it's a particular time. So we do the between times more than most. You can go to a place that had good food at peak times but between times they are pretty bad. Not this place. If you go it's good. Is the food good, Yes. Was the service good, Yes. Was it clean, Yes. This means a lot. It's the only time they can do 9 thousand things to prep for dinner and there I am in the damn way, expecting them to cook for me and be all happy about it and they were. I will definitely be back, during lunch or dinner hours guys, I promise!“
“We hired Casual Foodie Truck for our resident pool party and selected the taco menu. Their food was amazing! Our residents loved it! They arrived promptly, food was served with little wait times, their attitude was great and friendly! I would absolutely recommend hiring them for your food truck needs!“
“I had the Quesabirria tacos! They were delicious! I also had the Tamarind Juice which was pretty good. The menu is pretty limited, and there’s no chips n salsa. No chips n queso. Just the meal items lol. So don’t come starving lol. But! The tacos were so yummy!“

“I got the wrong food and still would give 4/5, with only one off for the mix up. The food I got was really really good and the staff are nice. There was a moderate wait, but they were pretty busy and it was absolutely worth it.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a food truck in a flat parking lot. I didn't specifically notice handicapped parking, but there are several parking spots and lots of open space. When it gets busy, there may not be enough room. The lot got full while I was there.“
“I am nothing if not an avid taco eater! Stopped by Tacos El Sobrino for a quick lunch, and it was fabulous! The service was quick, and the food was super tasty. I thought that the chicken was a little dry, but our waitress gave us so many yummy sauces that complimented the meat well and added some liquid back. Will definitely be back again!“
“This place actually has legit street tacos! Super cute staff, very friendly and the margs are great.Vegetarian options: They have black bean and veggie options for everything!Kid-friendliness: No high chairs, but picky eater friendlyWheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair can easily be sat at the bar or at one of the lower tables, large accessible bathroom, no stairs“
“I ordered a burrito it was real good I enjoyed it. I will come back( truth I was asked what I wanted from here from a friend and I didnt know what they had just pick a burrito or taco. Lol so chose the burrito. Definitely coming back to look at menu and get something “
“We LOVE Tacos 4 Life. We mostly enjoy the service and atmosphere. There's a popular fast food chicken place that people love (us included), but it's likely the customer service, atmosphere, and high standards that make them preferred over other fast food places.... well, that's how I feel about T4L. Yes, you might be able to get great tacos or tex mex at other places, but you will get Fabulous customer service, and feel great behind the global mission of ending world hunger by spending your money at T4L. Oh yeah, they have a drive-thru too!“
“Great fish taco and really nice staff. The room was cold because the window was open and the people at the one big table there were practically screaming, which was really uncomfortable. It's not that common to tell people to be quiet in the US I guess.“
“Fast food tacos! Kind of like chipotle but tacos only and you don’t really pick what’s on your taco but the layout is similar hahaha. These are pretty large. 2 tacos is plenty! ?? The trailer park taco was amazinggggg. I am drooling ? . But I also love fried chicken haha. ?I also tried the tipsy chicken taco which was really good as well. They come with plenty of sauces on the side too. Indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor doesn’t have big tables for more then like 4 people though. But outdoor does. Really delicious. Can’t wait to try the others!! ???“
“Just had the pleasure of ordering two carne asada street tacos from here. Not only were the tortillas filled with plenty of meat and toppings, it was AMAZING quality! The food was hot and the meat was not chewy and fatty and gross like so many other places these days lol. The food came out perfectly! My only regret is having ordered two instead of 50!“
“Lo Siento KCK!!! You're getting a run for your money - not just good, but GREAT. My wife and I were more than pleasantly surprised we can get this level of top-shelf taqueria food without driving out to our select spots in KCK. Nothing but good vibes there - we'll definitely be back.“
“Pretty satisfied! I had never had Jack in the Box, and had to do a quick stop through the drive-thru. The burger and fries were awesome, as were the tiny tacos! I only gave 4 stars because they only offered avocado lime sauce or hot sauce for the tacos and no salsa or picante; also because I asked for a large water, hoping just for a fountain water, and was charged for a "Vitamin Water" 2 dollars, and it was still in a fountain cup with almost no ice ? I feel like it was still a fountain water.“
