99 shrimp basket commercials started. Haven't been in awhile, as the one nearest me closed quite awhile ago. Turns out, there's only a handful left in the KC metro. LSS...everything was perfect and as good as I remember from back in the day.“

“Nice place, good food, and great service but the light fun atmosphere just tanked when the manager walked by. Not what you want to see on a Saturday night at this price point! It was actually awkward to experience the way the manager treated the employees. He literally yelled across the room at the bartender for no identifiable reason. Sometimes it’s watching the way someone treats others that ruins a nice time more than anything. It really is a nice place with good food and great service hopefully this part of the place can change. Appears mine isn’t the first review that involves the manager so hopefully they will fix this issue.“

As someone who has personally serviced their kitchen equipment, I can honestly say both locations keep an extremely clean and professional back of the house. Their kitchens are spotless, organized, and very well maintained, which says a lot about how much they care about quality and their customers. The staff is always friendly, respectful, and welcoming every time I’ve been there. You can tell they take pride in both their food and customer service. “Sea Capitan was a great experience overall. The food had really good flavors and everything we tried was enjoyable. One thing I’d suggest—adding salsas to the dishes really takes them to the next level and brings out even more depth in the flavors.

Service was great, attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance made it a really nice place to sit back and enjoy the meal. Definitely a spot worth visiting, and I’d happily come back.“

“The BEST Asian restaurant in the Northland! The food is absolutely amazing—every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail is top-notch. You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love. Chris, the owner, always greets us with a warm smile, and he and his staff make you feel truly welcome every time. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and such a friendly atmosphere—Saki is hands down our favorite spot!“

“Truly incredible meal. We went for a special occasion and had two amazing filets. Cannot recommend the Filet Pierpont enough. The Zinfandel soaked figs….chefs kiss. The cocktails as well- any of the old fashioned drinks, can’t go wrong. Don’t miss out on the corn and crab bisque either. An experience! We also had a very accommodating waiter, Zach, who made the the whole night memorable. We hope to visit again when we’re back in town. Thank you!!!“

“Guy at the bar was a Chad. Good dude- cared a whole lot about my wife and my service. Checked in multiple times and has a great attitude. Both my wife and I loved the food. It was great. Came out quick and with a heaping portion. Neither of us were able to finish our plate. Chips and queso was fire btw. Big recommendation on this one.“

The service was outstanding- very attentive but not intrusive; timely but not rushed. The food was good but not quite the dining experience we expected for the prices. The filet was good and grilled to order, your badic filet. The scallops were fairly small for a $64 entree; the risotto, however was very good and the portion size was appropriate. We had the brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes for sides and were disappointed with both. The brussel sprouts were big and tough; the au gratin potatoes were heavy and oily.“

“Love the food, atmosphere, and service. The last time I ordered a dish that was a bed of rice covered with chicken fajitas and smoother with queso cheese. It was to die for!!!“

We had the crab dip: (it was a special for the night) it was amazing filled with real crab and creamy cheese, ribeye with smashed potatoes: it was cooked perfectly with a unique flavor from the marinade, it did have a little more fat than I like but it was still very good, smashed potatoes were fresh made Yukons, yum!
My son had the burger and fries, he gave it a 8/10 with an extra side of the Mac and cheese, 100% recommend this, so creamy with a very unique flavor! Carrot Cake with warm homemade frosting is a must, key lime pie with fresh whipped cream yes please! Martinis and margaritas were go also! Will for sure go back when I’m back in town. The service was very good, the building is old and very dark but don’t let that discourage you from trying it.“
