“I had the salad option with my omelette instead of potatoes it was very refreshing. My friend gave me a spoonful of her potatoes to try, WOW! They were so flavorful and had onions mixed in just like my grandma used to do. The whole grain bread used in their toast was wholesome without the heavy dryness. The accompanying fruit jam was not overly sugary. I was so pleased that a tablespoonful came in a metal condiment cup instead of a plastic container with an individual serving (which barely covers a half slice of toast) given at other restaurants. Great service from our server who did not make us feel rushed even with several folks on the wait list. Way to go First Watch team! I enjoyed my initial visit to your restaurant.“

“Stopped in on Monday for a quick bite to eat. I sat at the bartop. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Alexis took great care of me. She knew the menu well and provided efficient service, while also giving great food suggestions for me. The manager stopped by and introduced himself, which is always a good sign for me. “Nothing Bundt Cakes delivered a full-size red velvet bundt cake with cream cheese frosting to our office as part of a promotion, and WOW—this was hands down the best bundt cake I’ve ever tasted! The cake was incredibly moist, perfectly sweet, and had the most delightful surprise—chocolate chips baked into the batter. Every bite was rich, velvety, and packed with flavor. Our entire office was blown away! If you haven’t tried their cakes yet, you are seriously missing out. Highly recommend!“

“GLUTEN FREE FRIED CHICKEN!!! I have been a loyal "Strips" conissieur since Todd opened his doors in Olathe. I've been to every other location, but tonight, I decided to try the newest one in Lenexa. Atmosphere was wonderful. Nintendo units at every booth was a hit with my daughter; and to me too(some of the games were from my childhood). The outside deck that wraps around the east side of the building is inviting. Love the lighting. Our wait time was what I expected for the meals we ordered. Service was excellent. Todd was there tonight and checked on us while we were waiting. We talked about a possible family connection from his past and my husband's and quickly turned to the topic of his new "star" of the show that he was debuting tomorrow night.....GLUTEN FREE FRIED ZUCCHINI! Say what?!!!! He went back into the kitchen and cooked us up a batch for a private tasting. Wowza! So good! You cannot find this anywhere else....you will always see fried okra; of which I can never have. But THIS.......this is gluten free and it's zucchini! I thanked him for bringing gluten free to the forefront of eating out. This fried chicken ya'll is THE BOMB! SERIOUSLY! Even if you do not need to eat GF, you need to try this and soon! You will not regret it! Don't forget the flourless chocolate cake ta boot!“
