“Some restaurants have good food, and some have great service. It's rare to find both in one place, but that's exactly what we found at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse in Olathe.
My girlfriend and I came in looking for a nice dinner together, and we left talking about how great the entire experience was. Amy was our waitress, and she genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. She wasn't just doing her job—she was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our evening. You can tell she truly cares about the people she serves.
I had the Heart of Italy Combination, and every bite was excellent. My girlfriend ordered the Chubby Cut Top Sirloin with the Parmesan crust, and after trying a bite, I completely understood why she loved it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the Parmesan crust took it to another level.
Thank you, Amy, for making what could have been just another dinner into a memorable date night. We'll definitely be back, and we hope to see you again. Johnny's has earned two returning customers.“

He has a son that has a gluten and dairy allergy and his one request for his birthday this year was a key lime pie that he could share with his son. That was not an easy task to locate. Even though it is not something they offer on their menu, Mud Pie Bakery was willing to do a special order for a gluten free, dairy free key lime pie and I must say, we were blown away! It was delicious! The crust was delicious, the filling was tangy, and the whipped topping was sweet and balanced everything else out! Not only that, but it looked beautiful! The best part is that my boyfriend's son got to enjoy a sweet treat that the rest of the family was having and that is something that rarely happens, due to his dietary restrictions! “This is one of those coffee shops you wish existed but didn’t know they did. You get your coffee and can wander through their plants or go sit in the middle of the greenhouse on a soft couch and talk with friends. 3 of us had infants and the atmosphere was so nice for the babies as well, quiet and easy to take care of them as we hung out. I definitely am coming back as soon as I have a chance! Their vanilla caramel latte was delicious and their cinnamon roll was a hit as well! If you’re in KC, you need to stop in here.“

“My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at The Melting Pot, and the staff was amazing and the service was great! They made our anniversary so special!! I can not thank them enough. The manager surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries, our table decorated with roses, and gave me a rose! Our hostess made us a special two year plate with a delicious raspberry sauce. I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“Always a joy to have a meal at First Watch! The service is incredible, kind staff that are super helpful with suggestions and any questions. The food is always fresh, filling, and colorful in the best ways.

This time, we got the barbacoa power bowl, pesto power bowl, trifecta plate, traditional breakfast and some million dollar bacon.

Also got an orange juice, regular iced coffee, hot coffee, and Honey Crunch Iced Coffee. The honey crunch was so yummy and strong toffee flavor.

Our server, Anna, was outstanding. She was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations throughout the evening. Her service elevated an already fantastic meal.

The cocktails were expertly crafted and a perfect way to start the evening. The steaks were cooked exactly as ordered—tender, flavorful, and prepared to perfection. It’s clear that quality and attention to detail are priorities in the kitchen.

I do want to give a shout out to Tom our waiter. He was very attentive and anticipated our needs. I always say a great meal can be ruined by poor wait staff. Tom def at the top of his game.....much appreciated.

I love the rotating menu and ability to skip weeks when I need to. The protein is incredible, veggies so fresh, and everything is so well balanced and tasty. Kitch makes it easy to get nutrients and vitamins without compromise and as a Celiac with a strict gluten free diet, I can’t thank Kitch enough for making food easy and enjoyable!“
