“Beyond impressed! My boyfriend's favorite dessert is a key lime pie. He has a son that has a gluten and dairy allergy and his one request for his birthday this year was a key lime pie that he could share with his son. That was not an easy task to locate. Even though it is not something they offer on their menu, Mud Pie Bakery was willing to do a special order for a gluten free, dairy free key lime pie and I must say, we were blown away! It was delicious! The crust was delicious, the filling was tangy, and the whipped topping was sweet and balanced everything else out! Not only that, but it looked beautiful! The best part is that my boyfriend's son got to enjoy a sweet treat that the rest of the family was having and that is something that rarely happens, due to his dietary restrictions! “I love Beer Kitchen!! They have fun and easy going servers, the food is terrific and diverse enough to please a large group of diners, and it’s all in a really nice environment that balances decor and vibe with practicality and ease of business. Take advantage of their happy hour when you can those deals are great, you won’t generally eat a meal here for under $30, but the price is well worth the taste and quality of your meal.“

“I love this place so much I wish I could gatekeep it. The atmosphere is so comfortable, it looks like the staff actually takes good care of the plants, lots of seating, lots of plug ins for those laptops. The coffe is like 6/10, I'd go somewhere else but the vibe is so nice I just get a mid coffee to sit and study. I've had many coffee dates here and long conversations with friends and family. It gets crowded but that doesn't bother me“

I do notice a change in the attitude of the staff since about later 2025.

This may be because of any number of things. Around October 22 or 23 there were two bank robberies,first 1:30pm in Waldo area US bank Gregory Boulevard and Wornall Road-last one at 3:30pm a block away UMB Bank 49th & Main Street.

While the wait staff is excellent in a leisurely lunch, yet highly attentive; the sales staff are aggressive as soon as I am finished with the meal.
Even if I go to purchase a special treat not having a meal, and I want to shop. Also the price of chocolate treats were around $97.00 a pound for liquor chocolate truffles in February 2026!I don’t even look at the truffles anymore ( prices may fluctuate but I have noticed it’s unlikely prices go down).

I feel the sales staff rush customers to pay and leave.“

“As a Gluten Free customer I want to highly recommend this restaurant. The waitress, Hailey was great! She got a special menu for me and made suggestions for GF food. I got the McCoy with pulled pork, GF bun and potato salad. The bun was amazing! The pulled pork delicious! I didn't care for the potato salad because it had a slight tang. Otherwise I can say this BBQ riveled ours in NC!!“

“My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at The Melting Pot, and the staff was amazing and the service was great! They made our anniversary so special!! I can not thank them enough. The manager surprised us with chocolate covered strawberries, our table decorated with roses, and gave me a rose! Our hostess made us a special two year plate with a delicious raspberry sauce. I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“We finally tried this place, and were pleasantly surprised. Their pizzas were delicious, and had plenty of options to work with. We appreciated that you can mix any specialty pizzas half and half regardless of the base. Our server was extraordinarily accommodating for us.

Our two daughters have a rare genetic disease called PKU which limits their ability to have both gluten and dairy, so the fact that they have figured out how to make decent gluten-free dairy-free pizza is absolutely a game changer, and we will most definitely be returning!“

I love the rotating menu and ability to skip weeks when I need to. The protein is incredible, veggies so fresh, and everything is so well balanced and tasty. “With over 17million views from my Reviews believe me when I say I just found my favorite pizza place in all of Johnson County. I decided to cheat on my diet because I was hungrier than a hostage so I went to Minsky's Pizza and they exceeded all my expectations when it comes to an amazing pie.
I was craving some pizza and always heard Minsky's was a go to place so I had to verify this and the definitely are.
The atmosphere there is engaging and I wish I could of ate my pizza inside but I had to get back home since it was getting late. I ordered a large Pepperoni with half jalepeno and half hamburger and loved it. The cheese pull was awesome and their sauce has some of the best flavor I've had from any pizza place I tried lately. The crust felt liked it melted in my mouth with every bite and I can't say enough good things about Minsky's Pizza off Pflumm & College in Lenexa and writing this review makes me want to go get another large and eat the whole pie lol. 10 out of 10 across the board so go get some so you can see what the hype is about. The staff there are friendly and its nothin but goid vibes in there. Thank you Minsky's for finally satisfying all of my Pizza Cravings.“
