“I found this place 2 years ago as a quick lunch with a friend who is pescatarian . We definitely found a gem because we’ve been coming here ever since. Their lunch specials are pretty reasonable and you get a lot of food. Brought my daughter for dinner tonight and she loved it. We recommend the caterpillar roll and the spider roll.“

They have fun and easy going servers, the food is terrific and diverse enough to please a large group of diners, and it’s all in a really nice environment that balances decor and vibe with practicality and ease of business. Take advantage of their happy hour when you can those deals are great, you won’t generally eat a meal here for under $30, but the price is well worth the taste and quality of your meal.“

“The food was delicious, but I really wanted to make a point to leave a review about our server. From the very beginning, Tayla was attentive and kind. She made sure to give great descriptions of the food, but the real icing on the cake was how much she went above and beyond. We brought in a cake from the bakery, and the host offered to keep it in the fridge for us. Tayla brought out the cake for us to take pictures and sing happy birthday, and then took it to the back to cut it. The cake was butterfly themed, and she cut out my mom's piece to look like a butterfly. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, but highly recommend asking for Tayla.“

“We just ate here for the first time and first of all the pizza was delicious. Maybe best pizza I’ve eaten ever. But backstory, my mom just passed away a week and a half ago and we’ve been on the struggle bus and our server was so incredibly kind to us and there was a magician they hired walking around doing tricks for tables. He was not only amazing and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing but more importantly, he brought us joy to us in a dark time and I will forever be such a fan of this restaurant. “The Recovery Juice Literally SAVED ME! I started kickboxing again after a long break. I was fully expecting to be sore and tired the next day, but I stopped at Nekter and saw they had a Recovery option. My first experience with juicing so the taste took an adjustment. It was not bad at all, but you can taste every thing! My body is thanking me that I took the time, no soreness whatsoever! Unbelievable truly! I also tried the Chocolate/Peanut Butter Protein Shake and it was FIRE!! 😝 GO CHECK IT OUT!“

MeMa's Bakery is an absolute treasure! The biscuits and gravy are so good I ate them before I even made it out of the parking lot – that says it all! The pecan rolls are incredible too. Everything here is genuinely homemade and you can taste the love in every single bite. The staff are warm and friendly, and the whole place has that wonderful old-fashioned ma-and-pa bakery feel that's so hard to find these days. A new favorite spot in Kansas City!“

“Hands down my favorite tonkatsu ramen in KC. The made from scratch broth is absolutely delicious. Never disappoints. My husband and son say it’s as good as the best ramen they’ve eaten in Japan. It’s that kind broth I especially crave when feeling under the weather. The seating is small but always very clean and parking is easy as they have their own lot.“
