“I know everyone raves about the burgers here, but what I find exceptional are the catfish and fried okra. The fish is fried to perfection. One day, I'll have to try it blackened. Louis is a tried and true Cajun Chef Extraordinaire proven by the freshest and tastiest beans and rice I've ever had. Also, by the okra. It's my go-to side dish for whatever I'm having.
The burgers are a little over-done for my taste. When I remember to order it on the medium to medium-rare, it's perfection!
Oh, and for you city-dwellers, the 15-20 minutes it takes to drive to Rose Hill is worth it.“

“Great burger, fried okra and fried mushrooms. Funnel cake fries—yummy, but for $5, would like 3-4 more. Friendly service. The cheese on the other burger seemed like Velveeta—not really good for the burger. All in all, very good. I would give it 4 out of 5.“

“Got the Culver deluxe, cole slaw, reese's dish ice cream. Burger was well seasoned, toppings all fresh, sauce was like a tangy ranch which was really good. It's hard to find cole slaw I like it had just the right zing. Ice cream was soft serve with good portion of reese's. Portions are kind of like everwhere now days so wont knock that part. Ordering went smooth once you get in the right lane.lol Will go back for sure.“

“I use to love the place at Douglas and Hydraulic but due to current situation and Sunday's service we will no longer be back. I'm sorry I loved the friendly environment and service we got but things change so it is time to move on. “Ordered the sampler and Beer Cheese Waffle fries. Everything was good except the wings. The wings were very chewy(rubbery). They were either old or not cooked all the way. I would definitely recommend the waffle fries. Service and cleanliness of the restaurant was excellent!“

“Family owned fast food chain. All restaurants have similar decor but I have checked the movies out they have on their walls and if you like B movies they are kind of good. Food is always served hot. They take special orders with no issues but check your order. They occasionally make a mistake but are quick to fix it once they know. Staff has always been friendly. For me, sometimes the floors are slippery, even though they are dry. Restrooms have always been clean and stocked.“

“Visiting from Florida and every time I make it out west I make sure to visit Spangles regularly during my stay. I've never been disappointed with anything I order. Can't say how much I love the garlic parm fries!! Had talked them up to my husband so much when I 1st tried them in April 2025 and this visit he said I had been right. They are delicious. Wish I could get that seasoning to have at home in Florida.“

“No question this is the most inexpensive place to get great ice cream in the whole city. We went with four people the other day, who got whatever they wanted and the final price was less than $10. I kid you not. I laughed to myself as I got up my credit card to pay thinking maybe I could get one thing for that price at an upscale ice cream store. Of course, the atmosphere is totally a fast food establishment, but come on, THE PRICE!!“

“Abbey was lovely and very kind. However, no fault of hers, my pasta and my girlfriends food came out so cold that I believed it had not been cooked. However she was kind and energetic enough to redeem the negative experience. Y’all survived that 2022 tornado and yet did not have enough of a come to Jesus moment to fully cook your pasta.“

“I can't eat anything there, because I have to be gluten free, but my daughter loves Taco Shop. We aren't usually much of east-siders, but we had an appointment over that way... so stopped at the Harry and Webb location. Actually, it is about a block south of the intersection. Anyhow, we went thru the drive-thru. They were very nice and by the time we swung around the building her order was ready! Wow! Talk about fast service. Food was great, as always she said. It sure smelled good.“

“The people that took my order and brought it out were very sweet. It was busy when I got there but they were very efficient (I got my food 5 ish minutes after ordering). I recommend if you want iced coffee, that you just get the normal cold brew, that's what I normally get. The french vanilla is a little too sweet.“

“Usually I like Dairy Queen, however, today I do not. Around noon (no customers in the store), I ordered (to go) 2 Bacon Cheeseburgers, 2 fries, 2 ice cream cupcakes. It was not until I got home that I realized I was 1 Bacon Cheeseburger short. I am not happy! Not sure I will go back to this location even though it is the most convenient for me.“
