“Lived in Wichita for 34 years. It took a LONG time to find El Rancho! Not everyone's cup of tea - if you want atmosphere = Carlos. Wichita "tradition" = Felipe's (we hate it). Expensive = Abuelos. Old school = Connie's. But El Rancho is our favorite. Inexpensive, AUTHENTIC, some of the best Chile Rellenos ever -- and we've been to Olvera St. in L.A. and had good Mex in AZ and Colorado. Tamales are great, too. No chips & salsa - they just fill you up anyways, before the real stuff is served.“

“This place is great. The food is very delicious every time. Their portions are awesome for the prices. I enjoy that they do daily specials. My favorite part is that they are open late. I get off at 2am and they have been there and got me hooked up for the late night eats. I wish the hours were a bit more clear but I know it’s a 1-2 man show and they have lives. So it’s understandable. I’ve been here four times in the last two weeks and I’m typing this sitting in the drive through right now. Thank you guys for the good food.“

“I came in Sunday for the first time. I got the chimichanga plate. I asked for no guacamole on my food, since I have an allergy to avocado. I saw my chimichanga had guacamole on it and went inside to get it corrected since I ordered through the drive thru, they were already preparing a new plate for me. I do apologize for being a "karen" at first because I was having a bad day. I'm glad that it was fixed in a timely manner. thank you for all yall do and how quickly yall realized the error and were already fixing it within minutes of me leaving the drive thru.“

“Okay please don't laugh but since I was a little kid I thought tortas came from turtles and so that it was basically like a turtle meat thing. But they're not they have nothing to do with turtles at all! Don't get me wrong I wasn't like an idiot kid or anything I made great grades, and I participated in sports. A couple of cute girls even hugged me before so you know it wasn't like I didn't know anything. I just I don't know from the name of the word torta I just thought that maybe came from a turtle. And it's not like I thought turtles would taste gross or anything but since I've never eaten a turtle before I just kind of curious to know what it tasted like. But don't worry I'm not some kind of cereal turtle eater I'm not going to eat your pet or anything. But yeah the torta that I did end up eating was pretty good. I was looking up tortas on Google and that's how I found out that I wasn't even eating a turtle. And that was fine, it was good food anyways. I will eat again soon!“
