“Redrock Canyon Grill last night for a birthday dinner. There was double booking on our reservation that we placed a week ago, and we got the short end of the stick. Poor communication aside though, here's how dinner went. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, and when it came out, the plate had like 6 chips on it. Seemed pretty steep for the price ($15), but we asked for more chips and they brought out an entire plate more for free. It came with the dip, as well as a small cup of salsa. Both tasted great! Extra chips made up for the perceived lack of portion size. For a main course, I got the 10oz Filet with mashed potatoes, and "something green" (green beans). The Filet was excellently prepared at requested "medium", with a ton of flavor! It was a stark contrast to what we got at Salt**ass. Tender, juicy, and well seasoned, with a nice crust! Sizes came in 6oz(?), 10oz, and 14oz. Easily the best steak I've had at a restaurant. I wish I would've gotten the 14oz, but not because I was still hungry....I just didn't want to good time to end. 🥴 Next up was the mashed potatoes.....and ho-lee-sht. Creamy, full of flavor! I could be wrong, but i felt like I tasted onions in them? I dont really know what's in them for sure, but i feel like I need to create a Redrock Anonymous group to deal with the withdraw I will be battling, until we inevitably go back. Green beans were also excellent. Not a lot to go over in specifics, but they were awesome, and the perfect companion to the rest of the culinary masterpieces on my plate. Our waitress was super attentive, and quick to refill drinks before they were empty. Very knowledgeable in specials and pricing, and overall a great communicator. This was literally the best meal I've had out at a restaurant, period, and Redrock is likely going to be our go-to for celebrations, and date night's from now on. If you haven't been, you've gotta go! Food: 10/10 Value: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Atmosphere: 9/10”

“I cannot praise Wichita Cake Creations enough for the quality and taste of my cake and cupcakes! At my party, I had numerous people ask me who made the cake? Even later in the week I had people still raving about the cake & cupcakes and how delicious they were! I had the last of my cake over a week after my party and it was still just as moist and delicious as the first day! The cake itself was decorated beautifully and perfectly....I gave Daevey the gist of what I wanted my cake to look like and she took my ideas and created my cake more beautifully than I could have imagined it to be, it was perfect! The cake alone will probably be one of the most memorable events of my 85th birthday...well 50 years old and 35 years sober. I paid a little more than what I would have at another baker, however, I would not have gotten the quality or the taste that I got from Wichita Cake Creations. I made NO mistake by choosing these ladies.. even though they were an hour drive away from me..they were WONDERFUL to work with and their communication went above and beyond. I am team Wichita Cake Creations all the way now!”

“On November 15th, 2025, a group of friends and I met at this IHOP for brunch and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what really made our experience stand out was our server, Princess. She was absolutely incredibly—friendly, funny, and completely on top of everything from start to finish.
We had a slightly confusing situation with our tickets, but Princess handled it with total professionalism and made sure everything was corrected quickly. She was attentive throughout the entire meal, checking in on us, making sure we were taken care of, and adding such positive energy to our brunch.
By the end of our visit, the entire group agreed: Princess deserves a raise or a promotion. Her service went above and beyond, and she truly made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend!”

“Such an amazing experience with the crew working 9/9/25 at 9:30pm. We did a mobile order and had to wait because we ordered 10 tacos. Yes tacos at Burger King. If you’ve had Jack in The Box tacos then you know why I did this. We moved from Texas and miss Jack tacos so much. This is the closest that comes to them! The staff was very friendly and our order was correct all the way. We even asked for extra napkins and ranch and she was so friendly about it. (We’ve had some pretty bad experiences at other establishments). She offered crowns for our 2 kids and gave us mini ice cream cones for them as well (part of their promotions) Our little family of 4 enjoyed our late night diner thanks to the great service we received. I got the the small strawberry banana crepe to share, because the larger one looked huge. OMG, this was one of THE BEST things I’ve EVER tasted in my entire life!!! In hindsight, I could have eaten the larger one all by myself, because it was just that good!! We will most certainly be back very soon for lunch to try the savory crepes…and of course, dessert. This place is right by my dad‘s house and I have a feeling I’m going to be stopping by to pick something up for my dad and I pretty frequently. My mouth is watering just thinking about the crepe I had today…simply AMAZING!!”

“We have loved frost for years! When we decided to get married we knew we wanted frost to do our desserts. We contacted Jada and she walked us through the process. We had a large order. 8 cakes in total with chocolate, cookies and cream (our favorite), peanut butter, vanilla. 48 cakes pops and 48 assorted cookies. Everyone at our wedding LOVED what they ate! The staff made sure they had the correct order, correct amount of cuts the cakes need 16 slices to make sure we had enough, and confirmed the pick up time so it would be boxed and ready for the day of the wedding. I’ve always been impressed with frost but after making this order and seeing how much they cared we won’t go to any other dessert shop in Wichita! Potato soup was excellent. Only suggestion would be cooking the blooming onion a couple minutes less time, and let oil drain off longer before serving - but it was good. My friend had a chicken/shrimp pasta dish. The chicken breast was moist, it is rare to find chicken cooked at a restaurant that is not dry. It was great. 5-star from myself.”

“This shop opened up right in winter and I was worried it wouldn’t make it, never seeing any cars there. I finally gave it a go on a morning I didn’t get breakfast. And I’m so glad I did because it’s delicious. Since then, my daughter has begun track and I’ve taken her there too for replenishment after a long practice. I hope this store is here to stay! Because it’s delicious and a much healthier ‘fast food’ option.”

“Welp. I found it. The tastiest cheesesteak I’ve had in a long long time. Halal food. Not what you think of when you think of a Philly cheese place. But as someone who has had all the cheesesteaks worth a dang in Wichita over the years, this one is right up there when it comes to taste. Absolutely FULL of flavor. Now I did order it WITHOUT the Blazin Sauce. A little side cup verified my decision. Spicy just isn’t my thing. I’m ready for a return trip SOON!”

“I've been meaning to try this restaurant since it opened, but it's not convenient to my house. I was finally nearby today and was very happy with my meal. I tried the General Tao's chicken, egg roll, crab rangoon, and fried dumpling. All were excellent as was the service! The only thing I could possibly change is that I prefer my crab rangoon more savory and less sweet, but that's personal preference.”
“It's no surprise why this place was in the running for a James Beard award. The service, food and atmosphere were amazing. I had the Duck A L'Orange and my husband had the Steak Frites. Everything was cooked to perfection and so flavorful. It was a great place to celebrate our 21st anniversary. Kennedy our server was amazing. Highly recommend this place.”
