Ice Cream Shops near Frankfort

“What a perfect way to end a visit to Downtown Frankfort!!!

When we first walked up to Hoggy's the line was too long for our impatience, so we walked down to the river and around the block. When we got back the line was still out the door but not nearly as bad as earlier.

We ordered waffle cones in varying sizes and ate as we walked back to our AirBNB. The cones were fresh and crisp; the ice cream perfectly flavored and served in satisfactory scoops. They did not skimp on the serving size. They had a large selection of flavors to choose from...a flavor everyone.

This is such a cute ice cream parlor and so conveniently located on the corner near many shops and restaurants. I love the colors and the cute little pig.“

“I travel often, so I have had BR all over. This location is hands down my favorite. It's always clean, the owners are super friendly and know customers by name, and the employees are cheerful and attentive. My daughter has been getting her birthday cakes here for 13 years and each one has been better than the last! I cannot recommend this location enough. Operating hours are 11am-9pm, so pop by if you are in the area. You won't regret it!“

“Forgot two of our drinks and an order of chicken tenders. They corrected it as fast as possible. There was a car accident in front of the restaurant while we were waiting on our food that involved one of their employees. Their calmness and professionalism in an extremely stressful situation was fantastic, even if it took a couple minutes to get my order straight.“

“I love the food and I love the service, but they never give out any napkins at the drive-thru. It's a 90 degree day and I'm trying to eat a frozen Blizzard and an unnecessarily messy cheeseburger without napkins. Why? Why would you do this to me, DQ? Why would you do this to my poor shirt?“

“If your whole group orders chicken tenders at the same time, apparently, you're more likely to get nice and hot, freshly made ones.

So the fries and tenders were hot and delicious. Par for the course.

Our blizzards definitely dripped when they were flipped, but beyond they, they were also fine.“
