“Great start with our waitress Kimberly. Kimberlee. She was absolutely the best. This was my first steak at Ted's. I would rate it as the best steak I have had in a longtime. Forget get the high priced steak houses in Lexington as this was far and away the most perfectly cook steak ever. Adding to the perfect meal were wonderful onion rings. They were as close to perfection as you can get. My compliments to the chef. we were too full to try the deserts but I am sure they would have been great. “Great restaurant and servers with excellent food. Tried the Ford’s Pickles, which were deep fried spears breaded in panko, and a special dipping sauce. To me the sauce has a horseradish style taste, but was really good.
We also got the Fords Signature burger, medium well. It was absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of BBQ sauce, the meat done right, crispy bacon, freshly toasted bun. Our server suggested the sweet potato tots with caramel sauce for our side. Was hesitant to try, but absolutely glad we did! Crispy tots with sweet, warm caramel. Dessert in itself!

“I go to Roosters often; I have great times there, from the good food to the great atmosphere. The wooden booths, quirky signs, and numerous TVs make it a great place for people to relax and have a good time. A good way to pass the time while I’m waiting for my food is to watch a football game or play the occasional trivia they have on sometimes. On my last visit, I came with my friend and boyfriend, and we had a great time eating a variety of food and being served by an excellent waiter who was friendly and efficient. When it comes to our food, Roosters never goes wrong with their curly fries and boneless wings. The wings were perfectly crisp, and the hot sauce is always top tier. The atmosphere is what brings it all together, from groups to families and friends to people just sitting at the bar. It is always cheerful and full of life every time I come here. I would say that Roosters delivers a perfect balance of good food and fun, and it's always a pleasure to go, so I plan to keep coming back many times after.“

“I rolled up and dropped 8.88 on an omelet biscuit meal with a Diet Dr Pepper, which feels like the nutritional equivalent of saying “I’m trying” while holding a lit cigarette (i don't smoke anymore). I don’t know how many calories were in that biscuit, but spiritually it felt like a misdemeanor. I’m ready to turn myself in. No Fifth Amendment. I did it. I ate it. Lock me up. Schedule more gym activity.

Meanwhile my buds hit the 2 for 5 plus an extra item, walked away without 9.90, and somehow got twice the food. Their bags looked like Hardee’s was trying to feed a small militia. Mine looked like Hardee’s was gently encouraging me to rethink my life choices.

But hey, I’m avoiding unnecessary carbs, which is basically like trying to avoid drama in Lexington: noble, admirable, and doomed the moment you get hungry.“

The medium cooked burger with extra bacon was incredible, cooked to perfection, it was huge! The pulled pork sandwich topped with small onion rings was an unexpected tasty surprise. The French Fry’s were seasoned, served HOT and crisp just like the sandwich’s, I mean, where in Lexington do you get that?! The staff was exceptionally cordial and our food was presented before we had filled our fountain drinks. Out the door just stuffed full for $30, that’s value! My son and I had a quick debate on the way home, monthly or weekly stop 😂 Weekly for the win! Can’t wait to try breakfast!!“

“Since every penny counts right now, I treated myself to breakfast with a coupon 2 egg cheese bacon biscuit sandwiches for $3.99. 1 for now and 1 for later. When I pulled up I was greeted with "What would you like to order?" irritated tone. Thinking this woman is having a bad day I ordered and pulled up to the window with a smile. She states my total and I say Hello and hand her my coupon with my card. I saw that she read it and put it in her cash register. I get my drink and food, my card and "Here have a nice day" in a monotone voice. I said "Thank you have a great day." again with a smile. When I got to park to sit and eat, I noticed my receipt said the full price of my items, no coupon discount. My first reaction was "Well she was kinda rude AND didn't take my coupon I'll never go there again." I had to go to work so I was about to think about it. After work I went down to see if I could speak with a manager and just let them know what happened. I spoke to Dallas, the night manager on duty. I told him of the situation and we agreed that he would just refund me the discount amount. Which I was fine with, however he came back with the full amount. "I was just thinking about your first experience with us and I hate that this was it so I'm refunding the whole amount in hopes you come back coupon or not." I was a little shocked 😲 but thankful that people still know how to customer service. So thank you to Dallas for changing my mind & turning around my experience. I'll see ya next time!“

“The Applebee's in Lexington on Sharkey Lane was a great experience our server Haley was very awesome she got all of our orders right very friendly and interacted with the grandkids her manager Chris also came out to check on us and everyone else in the restaurant and he was very friendly and funny the food service was good the food quality was good our server was excellent and she was very pretty and we would highly recommend anyone going to this Applebee's we will retire“
