“We were treated nicely from the time we entered to the moment we left. The Sit and Sip tasting was a nice introduction to the Green River line and Hanna (Sp?) was a great guide. We visited on a busy day. They were setting up for their BBQ and Barrel dinner but attention to us could not have been better. Look forward to returning and even more enjoying their Bourbon.“

“Huddle House is my family’s absolute favorite restaurant in Owensboro. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! At our recent visit, the food was perfect! Even during a busy time. It was so good, I had to ask who made our meal and to thank the cook personally. Jeff Woods made our meal with considerations on how it looks and tasted. Nothing was just “slopped” on a plate and sent to a table. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Owensboro.“

“My husband and I love eating at Mikato. We have a consistently great experience every single time. We especially love the house ginger salad, Pork Gyoza appetizer, spicy bulgogi, and the sushi (best sushi in Owensboro in my opinion). The hot green tea is served in an adorable little tea kettle. On top of serving amazing food, the staff are wonderful and delightful. Highly recommend Mikato!“

“I have always loved Briar Patch. Since it’s been under new management some things have changed…good and bad. The hoppin John soup is not as good as it used to be. However the salad bar is very good and fresh . Has always been. Don’t care for the croutons now. Not crunchy at all. The beverage glasses are larger now and much better. Steaks are amazing! Overall a very good place to eat at! Friendly waiters and food comes out very hot and fast!“

“I absolutely love this store, whenever I’m looking for something specific from Mexico or other Latin American countries I know that I can get it here. Their meat counter is exceptional. They marinate the meat in these wonderful marinades, and it just makes for great grilling and tacos later. It’s just a very well-stocked store, and if you can get there whenever they have the Chicharrón‘s that are fresh. OMG! That is where it is at. So if you’re looking for some supplies to make your next cookout or home-cooked meal, this is definitely the location.“

“I definitely want to brag! We came in today (7/27) with an extremely large party for my grandfather. We thought we had counted everyone when the party was reserved, but we had miscounted. I talked with our waitress and she checked a couple of tables that were soon leaving to make sure they weren’t reserved and got us the seats we needed. I believe her name was Rita. Despite us being a huge party (4 tables total), she always made sure drinks were filled and plates were cleared. She definitely went above and beyond for us tonight and I am so grateful that my grandfather was able to have a fabulous party.“

“Convenient little Japanese place to grab some sushi, hibachi, or other similar cuisine. The prices are very fair and the quality of food far exceeds the price. I’ll usually get a different style roll every time and it’s always of good quality. The service has always been good and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual and clean. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for Japanese for lunch & dinner time.“

“Stopped by for dinner and ordered the magic mushroom soup to start and ordered a small pizza (the one that comes with honey), I replaced the red peppers with mushrooms and the flavors were perfect! Pizza was cooked to perfection. Staff was very kind and attentive. Awesome food! If you’re in the area, stop by for pizza, it won’t disappoint. They also have other items of interest. I found this food better than Don Mario (the Mexican restaurant across the street and Famous Bistro), and I have been to those, not just saying it… you’re been warned lol.

“Me and my entire family are regulars here, whether were all together or by ourselves, we love coming here for their fresh sushi. For a while the service failed in all aspects, but seems theyve improved miles beyond what they used to be. My last 2 experiences were consistently great so that prompted me to change my previously unfavorable review. My server was attentive and kind as well as the host and sushi chef(we always sit at the sushi bar since thats all we ever order). This is a great change and hopefully customers will start to come back to this place now that the service matches the amazing food.“
