“Stopped in at this very pleasant winery during our personal wine tour of Kentucky on our way to Georgia. Wines were very good and reasonably priced. Ava ,the cat was 100% feline, friendly then would turn her back to you and just sit down. Made us feel at home as our cat’s behavior is basically the same. “We visited here for a birthday party earlier today. The girl who waited on us was named Kaylee. She was fantastic. However there were 30+ of us and she was running the show alone. The kitchen mixed up our food and we had missing food. She was running 95% of the food to us and got ALL of our drinks by herself. She was the only server assigned to us and she did ALL the work. As a server myself for 10+ years that's absolutely ridiculous. I've always shared a party that large with another server and if for some reason I was on my own my coworkers helped me with drinks and helped run food. She had no team players except ONE time a young lady helped by bringing two appetizers to the table. A manager should always come see how service and food is before the party leaves and we didn't see a manager for the 3 hours we were there. Thank you to Kaylee for handling the party on her own, you were fantastic ma'am.“

“The "atmosphere" is fine... The tables and chairs look and feel like they belong in an 80s pizzeria, and are showing the wear and tear of being older, outdated, and not the best. And if that makes you not want to eat here, you are a damaged person... This food is amazing. As in, making a good run for best burgers in the city amazing. The prices are reasonable, the selection has something for everybody, and the staff are wonderful. But... My friend, Bro, Dude, Bruh... The food... This is 'why didn't anybody tell me it was this good' level. This is 'why did I wait so long to try it' level. If you haven't been here for the food, you are failing at life“

“Back Deck BBQ was seriously incredible! The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with the perfect smoky flavor, and the pulled pork was juicy, flavorful, and piled high. The macaroni & cheese was rich and creamy, and the yams had the perfect sweet homemade taste. But the baked beans absolutely stole the show for me. Thick, smoky, loaded with flavor, and easily some of the best baked beans I’ve ever had. Definitely one of my favorite BBQ spots now and hands down one of the best BBQ in Louisville, KY.
