“Tonight we had dinner at PaPi’s. The food and drinks tasted very good! The service was friendly and the interior of the restaurant was fancy and clean. We enjoyed everything. For our meal we ordered the Birria Tacos, the chicken quesadillas and Bourbon Margarita?. YUM! The margarita was awesome and huge - they let me take it to go when I couldn’t finish it. We would come back for sure. ? Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian option - about 3 specialty items on the back.“

“This is place is an experience in authenticity. I am wowed by the food and impeccable, customer friendly service every single time I go, and I’ve been quite a bit. A good tip: don’t order typical things like burritos, nachos, or tortas because they’re very unimpressive. But the tacos and all other dishes are sensational, I can vivaciously recommend the Quesa Birria (pronounced kay-sah beer-d-ee-ah). Ask if they have Horchata. TREMENDOUS local and authentic food for a GREAT price.“

“Sooo good. This was our first visit and rarely do I eat out and immediately want to leave a review. I had the vegetarian fajitas nachos and it was perfect. I usually want sour cream but this was perfect without it. The veggies, beans and cheese were evenly distributed, fresh snd flavorful. My husband ordered the stuffed poblano peppers with chicken, rice and refried black beans. He was impressed as well and the black beans may be the best refried beans I've ever had. We will definitely be back. Give this place a try- it is fantastic!“

“Great place for a quick lunch or for a dinner date. The dishes seem to be a step up from a lot of similar restaurants, there's really not a bad item on the menu, the staff is always friendly, and it's just a nice place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. This one is a regular stop for us on a Friday night or a Sunday lunch.“

“I came here on Sunday around 11ish with my husband and father. Right off the bat, this place is very welcoming. It's spacious, clean, and vibrant. There are several TVs to catch a game. The music is noticeable but not overwhelming.Service was attentive, helpful, and friendly. No issues whatsoever. Now for the food. Compared to most other tex mex places, the price is great for what you get. I almost always get some type of Fajitas. I decided to order the one with shrimp, steak, and chicken. Normally, there are way more vegetables than meat. Not here. You get a great balance. My husband and father also enjoyed their food. Everything was seasoned well and very good. Overall, I think this would be a great place to try out. Whether you're with family, on a date, or with friends. I'd add it to the list.Parking: There are a few options available for parking. Street parking, handful of parking spots in the front, and a parking lot in the back.Kid-friendliness: There were a few families in there celebrating a birthday. A dessert was brought out with sparklers on it.Wheelchair accessibility: It may be a bit tight going through outdoor seating, BUT I have no doubt the staff would be very accommodating.“

“Best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. Moved to area in April 2022 and have been to El Alcapulco at least 8 times. Prompt service, great food, good prices. It’s our “go to”’when we want Mexican.“

“Top notch Mexican establishment with items different from the hundred or so El Nopals around town. The service is always great and friendly here. The food is always good and flavorful. The pricing is good, especially for the portions that you get. You won’t be disappointed!I get various things. One of my favorites is the Mango Habenero Aguachile… not for the faint of heart. Very good. Very spicy! Tip: The later in The day the hotter it is (from my experience). I sometimes times get enchiladas supremos. My wife gets nachos or fajitas. My son always gets the Mariscolandia: a large plate of scallops, shrimp and Tilapia. Cannot recommend the food enough… and that’s what it’s all about.Weather permitting, we sit outside without dog with no issues. They are very accommodating.Recommended!Parking: Ample space in the lot.Kid-friendliness: We always see families with small children in there. They seem to be very accommodating of them.“

“Hands down this is our favorite Mexican restaurant around! The staff are all extremely kind and professional and the food is the best ever! This is our go-to restaurant. The food is all plated beautifully and we've never had a bad meal. The chori pollo and beef empanadas are our favorites!“

“Perfect chicken tacos. My husband and I were mourning the closing of our favorite taco/burrito spot in Louisville, but then we realized this place was right down the road!! Lots of tables to eat in if you want. Green salsa is very spicy and very delicious; it's more of a creamy avocado sauce. Husband's chorizo burrito was pretty big and hearty without being greasy. We'll be back. Like a lot.“

“Go here. You have to go here. The food is delicious and fresh. It's always top-notch. He's concerned with making sure the customer is satisfied, so when he questioned whether the bread was right, he went to a bakery and had them make bread specifically for his sandwiches. I drive from Fern Creek to get here. It is worth the drive. The tacos are delicious. The wet burritos are awesome. There is nothing that I have had at this food truck that has ever disappointed me. I love it and I adore him. The wet burritos are awesome. There is nothing that I have had at this food truck that has ever disappointed me. I love it and I adore him.“

“What a delight it was to find this place as I was searching for a new place to eat on my way to Buckner. I ordered a steak burrito and not only was it exquisite but it was made quickly and wrapped tightly to not make a mess. I highly recommend this little restaurant and can't wait to return and try another menu item.“

“One of the best hidden places in Oldham County! Great food. Authentic. I can't say I've ever had a bad meal from Savormex. The food is always fresh and the staff, friendly. This is the place to go when you're tired of the same, run-of-the-mill Mexican food. They're the real deal. Though, ordering take-out is recommended. The dining area is a bit small.“

“We were out early afternoon watching March Madness, and this was the place to go. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, even so engaged as to find out we were in from Columbus, OH, with family. Wouldn't you know it? One of the guys there, the manager, I believe, has family in Columbus. Small world, but it's a great place. You won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be going back!“

“We were quickly seated for lunch. The young woman seating us was quite the soft talker and I was unable to hear her a number of times. While we a minor disconnect when I was asking about an item I was interested in I ordered it anyway. I ordered sopracitos and they were exceptional. It came with a small cup of beef consumer which also was great. The chips and salsa were very good as the chips are thick and very crunchy. Salsa is provided in a tiny carafe which really doesn’t hold enough salsa to get through one bowl of chips. My friend ordered a lunch plate that had an enchilada, rice and beans in lunch portions. The location is very inconvenient for me as I live 30+ miles from the place but if I happen to be back in that area again I will certainly visit again as the food is authentic and delicious.“

“Bandido's is an excellent place to eat that I've always enjoyed frequenting. I love their tijuana style street tacos, but this time I got the birria ramen and split the cardinal burrito with a friend. The birria ramen was quite interesting. I liked the meat and the broth, but it didn't quite work for me as ramen. It definitely is a lot better as birria tacos, with the broth being used more as a dipping sauce then a soup base for ramen. The cardinal burrito was massive, well worth it for big eaters like me. It was a good burrito, but the french fries made it feel more like a hamburger wrap than a burrito. While my selection at Bandido's this time was nothing special, I know that their tacos are killer and absolutely recommend them. The staff were nice and friendly, and the place itself was clean and spacious with enough tables and chairs for anyone to sit down and enjoy. This location in particular seems to be more of a takeout location, so my friends and I were able to enjoy the whole place to ourselves. All in all, Bandido's is an excellent place to eat and one of my go-to's for tacos, with a menu that features other interesting dishes as well.“

“Authentic Mexican cuisine. Great variety. Never enough sour cream though but thats a gringo problem mostly, just ask for more. But always a great meal and Spanish music playing. Usually, I have enough to take food home, + for 2nd dinner late at night. 2 people about $50 on average total w tip.“

“My "live affair" with El Nopal had a rocky start. But I have to admit, it's becoming a "go to" for quick, affordable, and good Tex-mex food. This time, I went with Tortilla soup on a chilly night. I wasn't sure if it filled me, so I added a steak taco. Silly me. I ended up taking soup home. I'm not sure if I've ever seen more chicken in tortilla soup from any Mexican restaurant. The broth could have used a bit more spice, but nothing a little salt & pepper couldn't fix. BTW, it seems that Tuesdays & Saturdays are karaoke nights. Normally, that would make me cringe. But on this Tuesday night a bunch of seniors, who are regulars, were pretty darn good. And friendly, too. Ends up, they were every bit as satisfying as my meal.“

“Great vegetarian options! Sometimes I ask at other restaurants for veggie fajitas, and all I get are peppers and onions....not here! I'm posting a photo of the gorgeous veggies. We were only traveling through because of the April 8, 2024 Eclipse....but if we ever get the chance, we will go back!Vegetarian options: I got the veggie fajitas - a really nice variety of veggies and deliciously seasoned!“

“We tried this place on the way in from out of town last month & We've had it three times since. I will note they have more options on their App & online to order than they do in the store. Which actually seems a little better to me. My favorite so far was the Boom Shaka Laka Burrito. But you can Build your own. You pick whether it be fried, grilled or shredded chicken etc. (they have other meat/veggie options) then you can choose any & all the toppings. It's basically the sauce that makes it the flavor you choose Nashville Hot, general Tso's , Mango habanero & quite a few other flavors. It's similar to a chipotle but definitely with a nice flavor switch up. The service has always been fast, friendly & patient. It's spacious in there so not quite sure why they aren't a little busier but I think this would be a perfect lunch spot during the work week. Just a note that it could use a good little spring cleaning. They could be short staffed or had a busy spell before I came. Just wanted to make note of it.“

“Kids eat free on Sunday and it's pur favorite place to take them too. Staff is super nice too and they make great food.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian! (excluding the meat) That sounds obvious but qudob/chipote can't say that same.Dietary restrictions: The allergy data is posted by the menu (thank you!) and the recipes were obviously written by someone who made an effort to ensure maximum options for everyone including those with restrictions. There were great accommodations for all allergies including rare ones like soy and inr diet restrictions.Parking: Easy, plentiful and accessibleKid-friendliness: Great kids meal options and the cookies are delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair friendly.“

“Stopped here on my road trip to Texas, and I’m so glad that I did. Decided I needed a break and didn’t want to do fast food again. I got the Pollo San Luis. It was so good. The food quality is really outstanding yes thank you. Their chips and salsa they serve with some kinda of tangy dip. It so good. The service is outstanding. This place is very close to the exit. Easy to get in, easy to get out. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.“
