“I’ve been there many times and anytime I have out of state guests we always take them there! And when guests return, the first thing they ask is “Can we go to that Knotty place on the hill to eat”. Now we call it the Naughty Place on The Hill because every meal is amazing, crab boil and the naughty Bloody Mary is well amazing and Naughty! Staff is amazing as well!“

Literally, my wife’s napkin fell to the ground and after I picked it up, the lady who was the host to us seen it and brought her a new one. Drinks did not run dry, and every single member of the staff was helping out and conversing with us. The owner and chef even came out to shake my hand. What an absolute gem in Cincinnati. This is a place NOT to miss out on. And don’t forget to order the cornbread! Hands down the best I have ever tasted. We left and wished we were hungry again and could turn around and go back inside.“

“BFG is my favorite seafood restaurant around! They always have the freshest and best fish, shrimp, crab, and steak dishes rotating on the menu year round. You simply cannot beat their Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. Their service is fantastic, personal, fast and friendly. The atmosphere inside is so relaxing in the dining room or bar area. I've been eating here for years and have never had a bad dish. I love this place and they certainly make ya feel special. Always a winner and highly recommend it to everyone. The only downside was that the fries were quite soft not the traditional crispy ones we would expect but I don't have that much to say against it. “If you go, you have to request Tristan as your server. Walked me and my girlfriend through the menu and gave us some delightful choices while providing a great overall experience for a date night. Also, idk what what they got going on in that kitchen but I love it, the tomahawk was cooked and seasoned to perfection, sweet potato casserole was to die for. And the cheesecake was unforgettable. Also the drinks recommended blueberry mojito and blackberry sidecar were spot and delicious yet strong. Overall a fantastic experience and highly recommended!“

“Enjoyed having dinner here. Great food and great drinks. Other reviews say service isn't the greatest. I only experienced it in the latter half of my meal when it got more busy. To be fair, there were 2 servers covering the entire restaurant. Not the server's fault for slower service, only management's fault.
The arcade part of the restaurant was underwhelming. They have 15 or so games, half of which are pinball machines. Only had 1 pool table too.“
