“I'm from San Diego (home of incredible, authentic Mexican food) and I've been struggling to find a good burrito for the past 3 years that I've lived in Louisville - not even joking. There are some chains I really enjoy such as Taco City and Bandidos, but it's not the same authentic taste I'm used to. I'm here to say I've FINALLY found my go-to Mexican food!!! Prices are very reasonable and the taste is authentic. It truly reminds me of home. This was the highlight of my weekend and I've been telling everybody who will listen. “We were in Louisville for just a quick trip and our family was looking for a good authentic Mexican place to eat. We were SO GLAD to have found this place! The ambience is amazing and so beautifully decorated. The service was perfect, but the best part of all was THE FOOD. The specials were Caldo de Camaron, Pozole Verde, and Chiles Rellenos all super authentic and tasted just like one would make it at home. The drinks were fantastic, we had agua de horchata and jamaica and both were sooo fresh and tasty. Overall, we were happy that the one place we chose to eat was here!! “I used Ernesto’s catering for rehearsal dinner for our son and daughter in laws wedding. Not only did they quote a couple dollars less per person than other local Mexican restaurants, but they also went out of their way to provide warmer trays and serving utensils. We had to pick up on a Friday night at 6pm, one of their busiest times for sure! The food was hot and delicious! Highly recommend for events as well as for usual, every day dining needs!“

“I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions over several years. I live in England and make trips to La Grange each year if I can and my friends there always take me to Gustavos. I'm particularly partial to the Yucatan Fish. I had it this past Sunday and had every intention of taking some away with me. It didn't happen because I couldn't help myself and left a clean plate. I have never been disappointed with a meal there and have no hesitation in recommending it.“

“We decided to give Fiesta Time Amigos a try after leaving Santa pics at Cabelas because we were in the mood for Mexican food and this restaurant was close by. What an amazing decision! We were greeted with a smile by the server and taken to a corner table with plenty of space for everyone. There were several TVs so the people who wanted to watch the football game could watch it, and there were plentiful amounts of chips and salsa. Normally, restaurants seem annoyed when you ask for more chips and salsa; not at Fiesta Time Amigos. They kept our baskets and bowls STOCKED without us having to ask! There were tons of booster seats available for the kiddos, and they were CLEAN! Most restaurants have sticky booster seats, but they were fresh and clean here. The menu had tons of amazing options for our entire party, and the food was hot and fresh. The server and other staff were so sweet and attentive, even chatting with our children when the kiddos asked them random questions lol. When we stood to leave, were were given a warm, “Please come back again soon!” and we definitely will! I sadly don’t know our server’s name, but he was a male working Sunday 11.30.25 around 4:30pm and deserves all of the compliments! Everyone should give Fiesta Time Amigos in Norton Commons a try when they’re looking for great Mexican food and a great experience :)“

“I placed an order over the phone tonight and when I arrived it wasn't ready. No big deal, the staff was so apologetic and they realized that my order was never entered into the system. The owner, Gustavo, was the one who had taken my phone call and greeted me when I walked in. He immediately took the responsibility, went to the kitchen to make my order himself then insisted that he buy my dinner. I tried to pay for it but he wished me a Merry Christmas and told me to pleaee enjoy and come back again. I have celiac disease and have not had any reaction to their chips, salsa, or cheese dip (nor anything else I’ve ordered so far - taco salad with shredded chicken no tortilla shell, shredded chicken tacos, refried beans, rice). 10/10 recommend!“

“I was in from Chicago. Ordered food before closing and picked up. Ladies at front counter were very nice. Portions were huge. I ordered the 3 carnitas tacos w/ rice & beans and for my family member a steak huarache.
Next time I'm in Kentucky, I'll definitely stop in to dine in.

“What makes me mad, is I ordered a burrito. Chicken, Rice, onions, black beans and cilantro. Why is it stuffed so full I can't eat it without taking it back to work, and getting a bowl. If I wanted a burrito bowl, I would have ordered one. This fell apart bursting out of the burrito shell as soon as I tried to open it. I could not even begin to take a bite. It's a gorgeous day outside and I wanted to eat at the picnic table.
Also, wipe down your nasty drink fridge. It looks like a million nasty hands have opened that door and it has never been wiped off.
Quality of food is decent, but this experience totally is off-putting.“

“I love coming here! Food is really good for the money spent and I always leave satisfied. Since this place opened, i stopped going to the qdoba nearby which was my go-to. The workers mainly speak spanish which is to be expected with how (pretty much) authentic the food is. So if you love good food and want to practice your spanish, this is a great place for it. A downside is they dont serve alcohol because the owners are religious from what ive heard. Also id stay away from the chips and queso here. The quesos stiff.“

“Great vegetarian options! Sometimes I ask at other restaurants for veggie fajitas, and all I get are peppers and onions....not here! I'm posting a photo of the gorgeous veggies. We were only traveling through because of the April 8, 2024 Eclipse....but if we ever get the chance, we will go back!
