“This was an awesome laid back place on the river. Staff was super friendly, the owner was friendly, everyone was working their butss off. There is plenty of space if you have a big group. You can dock and get food also. Food was good. Their Cincinnati chili is legit and definitely worth making a trip here for. Watch the hill on the way in and out. It's a bit steep!

Parking: It is at the top of the hill so you have to go down the steps or the ramp in and out.“

“My family and I was there today to celebrate my mothers birthday, we ABSOLUTELY loved the food them ribs are to die for, however the memorable part was our server Tonya, I think I’m saying her name right, she was AMAZING I mean she engaged with my mom and son like if she was apart of the Family and THAT took us right away, the only downside was by the time we had received our drinks she was no longer our server which REALLY upset my mother, However the new server was nice she just wasn’t her,,, we LOVE the spot and enjoyed the whole atmosphere and my mother and Family DEFINITELY will be back we just hope that we run into that server Tonya again!!! “I've lived across the street for two years now. Parkside opened roughly a year ago with great enthusiasm. Almost immediately the place was packed with a constant stream of people dining, drinking, hanging out on the patio etc.

The food is as great as it gets with a delish cheese burger (try the pimento), guacamole, buffalo spring rolls, & even the salads.
The staff are service industry elites who are use to a high volume & high energy place Parkside has achieved.
The atmosphere is like a busy neighborhood hangout. People bring their dogs and kids to the patio, everyone talks amongst groups, while the inside offers a cozier more calm traditional restaurant area.

On the bar & drinks... Even if you're just there to down a few pints or cocktails after work or there to make some new friends, you never feel like 2nd priority. The bartenders and staff are friendly and efficient and while I personally would like a wider variety of wines, Parkside gets high remarks with choice selection of glass pours, a wide variety of beers, & a exquisitely constructed cocktail menu.

Sadly, I depart the neighborhood next week but Parkside has become a staple of what every place should desire to achieve in Hyde Park. Kudos.

“We are from out of town and came in late, trying to find some vegan friendly food but also good for my omnivore partner and it did not disappoint. Sunny greeted us and was friendly and personalizable during our entire dinner. We ordered the Mediterranean veggie wrap and salmon “omega 3” sandwich and it was amazing! The side of vegan Mac and cheese was one of the best vegan Mac I had. Prices were quite low for a restaurant these days, ranging around the $10-$15 range for an entree. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

“We had crab corn chowder soup and the fried cheese is a mazing with a light beer battered provolone. Must have and are made to order. And let me tell you something. I've lived in NYC, Texas and been many places and I love good food. It was the burgers that made me put them on the must try and they knocked it out of the park. Nice big and juicy burgers with great flavor. Best burger I've had in Ohio! Will definitely be back!“

Even if you go right at 12, the line might be out the door, but it moves so fast. Not only the line, but the food as well. You’ll still get your food wicked fast.

I haven't necessarily given them the best ratings in the past, I don't remember our server's name those times. Amber however will be unforgettable for the rest of my life and here's why. there were a couple of elderly couples that were seated after us, and she was very familiar with these people already, whereas we were not familiar with her at all. she handled each table differently, accordingly, no doubt with respect and love. heavy on both. I had to call and record a charge on my card and I was kind of holding my mom up and be able to order food and I felt bad because she was starving. somehow some way, Amber had our food out to us very quickly, cooked perfectly, absolutely everything the way that we ordered it. we didn't have to send anything back, we didn't have to ask for anything else extra to be brought to us, she even walked by after a few minutes and brought us extra napkins. I mean, super top notch service. quick, perfect. and that singing voice on that woman oh my god! I was a little reluctant to eat here today because my last few times eating here weren't necessarily the best experience, but I will be back for sure.“

The chili is of course authentic and is smooth in texture, similar to Empress for anyone who's had that before. But of course very different in texture from the likes of say Camp Washington Chili. I found it had a bit better taste than Empress. Them I wasn't a fan of, but I'd certainly come back here. Service was great, Angelo is still back there cooking, very impressive! It seems to be a very much casual local place, old fashioned in a way, all of which I really enjoyed. It is cash only, so be aware of that. All together I had a great experience. Great Cincinnati Chili for a great price, with great service and nice atmosphere, what more could you ask for!“
