“My leadership team met here for a planning session. The atmosphere was great! The staff was so kind and helpful. We ordered a variety of drinks. I ordered coffee, others ordered wine. We also ordered a charcuterie board for the table. It was nicely prepared and everything was fresh. Highly recommend!“
“I was back in France at that cute little bistro that always highlights your best travel stories. Food was not overly fancy or unnecessarily drenched in heavy sauces, but it was tip top French (and a little American) fare. 2 of our party had the outstanding moules and frits, fresh and bathed in white wine and light aromatics. I had a sumptuous, well prepared cod Provençal. Service was prompt and friendly the restaurants rooms drenched in unpretentious French charm. Definitely moving Luca into the regular rotation. (Side note: if you’re still sad about the departure of Zulas and their epic mussels, come here!)“
“I have visited nearly every coffee shop in NKY, there are few that I literally think about weekly wishing I lived closer to visit more often. Unataza is top of that list. Their atmosphere is warm and inviting from the decor to the employees there was never a moment I didn't feel welcome. They serve Honduran coffee that is rich and blends beautifully with their homemade syrups and flavors. They rotate flavors with the season but majority are house made and festive. Their espresso drinks I could order by the dozen and I'd still want more, they're that good. They also serve authentic Honduran food from breakfast to lunch, they're a great compliment to a sweet drink. I adore this place and wish I lived closer to visit more but each visit here is such a treat.“
“If you are a big fan of Greek dining then you will not be disappointed. The food was delicious and authentic. We had the fried Feta, which was a bit spicy (red pepper flakes) but the sweet honey did a nice job balancing it out. We also had the Tzatziki with pita and it was delicious. Our entrees were the Moussaka & Kotopoulo Souvlaki. Moussaka was very rich in flavor and it will fill you up. The Kotopoulo (chicken kabob) and the rice was very good. Finally we wrapped it up with the Baklava and it was presented nicely in 3 pieces. It was very good. A very nice evening before heading over to the FCC game!“
“Cafe Mochiko left us thoroughly impressed during our visit from out of town. We dined there twice over a weekend, once for dinner and once for morning pastries, and we were blown away both times. During dinner, we enjoyed a variety of appetizers, including the savory and fragrant Mochi Mochi Panic, Karaage, and Kabocha Raisu, all of which were hits. For the entree, we tried The Ohio from their rotating menu, which featured a rich pork and fish broth with tender sous vide pork and chewy noodles—an absolute delight. On our second visit, we stopped by for pastries on a Sunday. Despite about 15-minutes wait in line, the pastries were well worth it. We tried out a variety of their signature pastries, including the Ube Croissant and Genmaicha Melonpan, all of which were so well-made and delicious.Overall, Cafe Mochiko is an exceptional Asian-inspired bakery and Japanese restaurant. While they don't take reservations and may involve a wait, it's well worth the visit. We are so thrilled to have visited this gem in Cincinnati!“
“Nice spot very affordable I got at 16oz coffee and muffin for under $10 can’t beat that . everyone was friendly and nice I love a good coffee shop. The music was great can get a lil busy so might not always be the best spot for studying. But there is some extra room to study. Wi-Fi available. The dirty hippie is my new go to “
“Oishii! Delicious! Came in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed everything about this delightful gem. The onigiri and karaage lunch combo was perfect, light and healthy with a side salad. We also tried two cakes, a strawberry creme and matcha roll. Again, light and subtle flavors always leave you with room for one more bite.“
“Great food. I love that they have gluten-free bread options and their coffees are amazing too. The staff is always friendly and the homemade pastries are delicious. I also love their mission. Local people helping local people. Great breakfast food and dinner specials. Chef Gigi is the best.“
“We loved your Cafe. All the staff members are amazing. It’s a great way to really get to know and find a new furry family member. I absolutely love that all the animals are from local shelters and rescue organizations. We found a new furry addition to our family. We changed his name from Floxy to Kaiyo. Will be recommending family and friends to visit and support!“
“The owner is so kind and quick with service! My go-to spot for halal food in OTR, everything is fresh and delicious. There have been a couple of occasions where I walked up and there was no one in the building (despite being "open" according to the hours on the window) but I can tell it's not something that happens frequently ?“
“Absolutely love Enlightenment coffee! The location is in a small strip mall off the Richwood exit. The cafe is nicely decorated and always so clean. You will be greeted upon entering and delighted by the pleasant aroma. My favorite is the Salted Carmel Latte. After you check out this cafe, let me know your favorite!“
“I've walked past 1215 so many times on the way to somewhere else. We were out and I was craving an espresso martini, so we figured the wine bar and coffee lab was the perfect choice. I was skeptical of ordering their fancy version or a traditional espresso martini because of the mention of chocolate. I'm not a super sweet drink kind of person. I went out on a limb and decided on their fancy version (top model or something like that?) It was sooooo good! Service was fantastic.“
“We love Melt!! The Rachel with a side of slaw is our favorite. Also love the revival bowl, verde chicken flatbread, & nachos. Swapping their homemade vegan cheese on any of these items is delicious. Ooh, and the Carmelita is one of their must-try treats!Dietary restrictions: Lots of great vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, & gluten free options.“
“2023: 4/5 stars. Collective has lost some of its magic over the years. It's still pretty good, but the costs have just gone up a lot. Pour overs that were once $3–4 are now $6–7, when they actually have them, for example. They are using North South for pastries now which is a big win. They have largely stopped doing lots of the fine touches that used to make them what they are, such as the single origin espresso option. I still visit, but a lot less than I used to. There are so many other options now compared to OTR in 2016... the newest spots, Redtree and Coffia are both worth checking out.2016: 5/5 stars. It's the best coffee shop in OTR and in Cincinnati. The espresso drinks are nice, pour overs are great, and they do some weird stuff like espresso lemonade ("spronade"). The baristas are very friendly and the owners are down to earth and around most days. Very good neighborhood spot.“
“The foodstand market and Cafe is AMAZING! we have been here twice and will be returning customers for life! The first time we visited, they were closing early for a party. they could have turned us away, but instead still served us. My 5 year old son was on the wild side that day and employee Lester was absolutely amazing with him! I even accidently left my debt card there after checking out and Lester found me on facebook and sent me a message that i had left my debt card so i could pick it back up! I also bought a bag of their local wheat bread flour, that i am experimenting on trying to figure out a good recipe to use it for. (first time bread maker, so idk what i am doing) If i could change anything, it would be to add a recipe to the bread mix! I also think that they should look into selling fresh dried spices/herbs for seasoning! their food is absolutely amazing! so fresh and so nice knowing that its local meats/veggies. Highly recommend the grilled ham and swish. the peach jam on the sandwich is to die for! make sure you ask for extra jam for dipping! thank you lester for being amazing! you earn Ben as a buddy for life!Kid-friendliness: coloring sheets and they have pencil boxes of crayon for kids instead of give 1-2 crayons like other restaurants. The staff also interacts with the children and treats them to the Childs needs/personality.“
“Came here for some coffee and their latte was genuinely delicious. You know when your coffee tastes like how coffee smells. Highly highly recommend. The chai latte on the other hand was so heavy on ginger and nothing else... it just was not it. But I would come back for the coffee. Also, it would be great if they could get to know their products a bit. I ordered a cheesecake cake pop. 3 workers gathered to decided which one is the cheesecake one... and they got it wrong. Weird“
“We stopped here to grab a coffee to go. The shop is really cute! They offer pastries & hot sandwiches in addition to a variety of coffee drinks. We both got a seasonal flavored iced coffee. Both were delicious! They answered our questions and were knowledgeable about the menu. The service was quick & they even brought them out to where we were sitting! Worth a stop!“
“Oh my goodness, I'm just now seeing King's Way Cafe is closed. I'm sad to be sure. We had a delightful meal here. Everyone in the place was super kind. I'd have come back without hesitation. I hate it when family owned shops close down.“
“Farm-to-table, pay-as-you-are-able, hidden gem in West Norwood! Located in the former Speckled Bird Cafe with limited weekend hours during breakfast and brunch. Serving seasonally available fruits and vegetables in their amazing baked goods and a variety of egg dishes!Vegetarian options: Everything on the menu is vegetarian and accommodations can be made to make some dishes vegan.Dietary restrictions: There are some gluten-free and dairy-free options available.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome“
“My wife and I visited Cafe De Paris for the first time today, and it was amazing! I had the mushroom crepe and it was the first authentic crepe I'd had in years. The customer service was exceptional and the atmosphere had a warm and cozy feel. I love that we found this little gem.“
“Absolutely love Biggby!! Super friendly staff, great rewards program, and delicious food and drinks!Parking: They have a small amount of parking but here it doesn't matter much because the only reason you would need to park is if you went to the pick up window. This is a drive thru location so no need for lots of parkingKid-friendliness: They have a specific group of drinks that are kid friendly. Being a mom, I love this so much! My kids always want to drink my drinks but now I can get them drinks without the caffeine and they're still delicious and they have more options than just cocoa“
“One of my favorite lunch spots!! The owners are warm and always call me by first name when I order my “usual” cup of turkey chili. They have the best potato soup I have ever had!!! They are also known for their chocolate chip cookies! In general, the food (and staff) are *AMAZING* and it’s always fresh.“
“A wonderful sunny, open and pleasant room and patio overlooking the art museum courtyard. Ambitious menu of interesting sandwiches and salads. My wife had the club sandwich and I had the Mixto (variation on ham and cheese), both with an excellent side salad. We were there at a very busy time, with several large groups in the restaurant, and every other table taken, so service took longer and was less frequent than I'm sure is usual. We weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a big problem, but it took a long time to get our food and even longer to get the check.“
“My husband and I love this place for breakfast and lunch. If he ever has a day off work while school is in, we come to first watch. Our son also loves it here when we've come on the weekends. They love the pancakes/waffles and the million dollar bacon. I love their elevated egg sandwich, cobb salad, and their power breakfast quinoa bowl. Great food, amazing service, and just an awesome place overall. Definitely stop by if you get the chance.“
“This is the best place to hangout or just chill and stop for some food, or some drinks. I go here almost every Sunday with my church. The people their/ Their Service is amazing they are so kind and get to you right away as soon as they can. I can not find a place like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!“
“Table service by Noctis was very good, and fun. Our chicken salad and croissant sandwiches were beautiful and delicious. Chicken and rice soup was hot and tasty. Super soft jazz music and quiet atmosphere was what I'd like at every restaurant!! We'll be back for art AND food. The African Sunrise green tea was incredible . Thank you Noctis.“
“This local coffee shop was just across the street from my AirB&B. The shop itself is very well decorated and lit. The latte and croissant I had were both very good. NOTE: There is no public WiFi here, which was one of the main reasons I stopped in. It’s worth a visit but I wouldn’t recommend expecting to be able to do work over the internet here.“
“Really nice Tex-Mex style restaurant in Northside. I got the Veggie Burrito with a Spicy Watermelon Margarita, my date got the Veggie Tacos with a Northside Sour, and we shared the chips and queso. The veggie burrito and tacos were full of flavor and came with two sauces. The spicy margarita was flavorful and delicious. The queso was tasty, though I prefer a thicker sauce. The service was also top notch. Our waiter popped over right away, and our food and drinks came out fast. We were also greeted by the chef after our meal and it was just an extremely enjoyable evening from start to finish. We will definitely be back and are so pleased to have this addition to the neighborhood!“
“I really enjoy going to the bonbonerie for lunch, and have even hosted a baby shower in their private room. Don't bother to ask how many times I've stopped in to pick up pastries and cakes. The food is always delicious, I absolutely can't leave without the carrot cake. As of right now, there doesn't appear to be enough people working the tables, and in terms of atmosphere, it's super cute, but loud. The walls also need a wipe down, where we were seated, we noticed splashed tea or coffee all down the wall.“
“When in doubt, where to have a satisfying breakfast or lunch, we invariably find the closet First Watch, we've never been disappointed. We like the options in the menu, especially considering we always look for well-balanced, healthier options.Thank youParking: The parking lot at the mall is rather large, but it can get full fast. Some walking might be needed, but not a big deal.“
“Great service, vintage NKY tavern feels, family friendly, generous portions of entrees and sides that were prepared to delight. We came tonight for first try to see if Yelp reviews were accurate. We have lived 2.4 miles away for almost 25 years and barely noticed this place. It is now our secret place to explore the menu offerings. It is Friday and so we tried the special.... the large fish on rye with lettuce, tartar, and grated cheese, and it was great. We both chose the coleslaw vs. stewed tomatoes plus the included Mac and cheese. Come hungry as you will not want to leave any on your plate as it was delicious. We both had a beer for our beverage, and that seemed appropriate in this traditional tavern setting. We plan to come back and try all the Monday thru Saturday specials.“
“During a road trip we made the last minute decision to stop in Cincinnati for the night. Arrived around midnight and headed here as it was one of the only places open at the time. The bartender was super cool. He made us great drinks and awesome recommendations on grabbing a bite to eat late night. The vibes here were lively, everyone seemed to be having a good time with smiles on their faces. We only grabbed a drink, conversed with the bartender and headed out.“
“We are transplants from New Jersey and finding pork roll and marble rye out here is next to impossible, so this place gets 5 stars just for having that!Love the atmosphere in here, it’s very cozy feeling and nicely decorated. Service is good. Food is delicious! Pork Roll slices are thick! Marble rye is perfection. Potatoes and eggs were cooked very well- again, so good!Their speciality coffees/lattes and bakery items upstairs are on the pricey end, just as a heads up, but the meal itself was well priced and worth every penny. Always look forward to going back!“
