“Smokey Bones is an oldie but goodie. Haven't been to one in a decade cuz didn't have one nearby. The mini nacho app was delicious and presented nicely. Chips were standing up. Looked like they had yummy cocktails but we didn't have any. We ordered the "grill" meal. It's literally served on a small grill that has charcoal in it and smoking. So cool. Had bbq ribs, chicken wings, grilled chicken, saisafe and steak. Small pieces. Nice to share! Also had wedge potatoes, peppers and onions. In the middle of grill was bowl of delicious sauce (not one of 4 found on table). Good value for that. Waitress was perfunctory not overly friendly. Nice and neat inside“

“We went to MozzaPi with our 4 year old grandson last night and had the best pie! The staff are amazing, welcoming and kind. We had a little spill incident with the 4 yo and they were so very understanding. Thank you to the lovely woman at the order counter. She rocks! The food was outstanding! Did I mention the food and how excellent it was? Well go and see for yourself. Highly recommended. We will be returning.“
“A very lovely place, the staff truly care for the cats in their care and even with all the personalities, each cat had more than enough space to attune to its comfort. Whether that's sociable and playful or slow and on their own. I did adopt from here and love the new addition to our family but you don't have to. You can get some delicious food, a nice drink and enjoy time with or watching the furry friends.“
“We LOVE Half Peach. It is always one of our favorites when we are in town. The best assortment of vegan desserts in Louisville that are all amazing and a smaller food menu. Our favorites are the big Chik'n Miso salad, the drumsticks, and the pizzas. I went here for my birthday in February and stuffed myself and still had leftovers. The portions are very generous and the staff is super friendly and helpful.“
“Great dinner for 5 at classic Louisville Bardstown road location. I think reasonably priced too our tab included bar drinks and a nice bottle of red wine. I enjoyed very nicely cooked grilled salmon, wasabi potent to my liking ( if you have a wasabi limit, mention that to your server so they can dial it back for you ) something for everyone as chicken livers salad, burger, chicken piccata also enjoyed at our table. “I visited with some colleagues and we had a great experience. The food was very good and the drinks were reasonably prices. I had the sweet and spicy wings. They had a great flavor with just the right amount of spice. We shared the nachos with the ginger chicken and the taste was delicious. They also had a decent bourbon selection for the size of the location. I would recommend and return to this location.“

“The staff was so friendly and helpful. Food.... Amazing! Soft, flaky, huge biscuits. Mama's boy is not spicy but savory. The goat sandwich is sweet. Their fried chicken is very lightly fired, not too heavy. Perfect, in my opinion. I bought two jars of their spicy pickles to take home, yum! Donuts with bourbon cream cheese are a nice treat. The cream cheese didn't taste like Bourbon, but I liked the taste a lot. If you want to try all of their gravies without committing to one, they have mini biscuits and a sample size of their gravies. It was plenty! Mushroom gravy was my favorite. Salty but had a hint of sweet and savory. They have adult beverages and coffies that are delicious. 10/10 recommended“
“I literally eat their blueberry lemon scone once a week they are soooo good! So after I posted on social media and one of my foodie friends mentioned they have a storefront I knows I had to check it out. The location is off in the cut in Lyndon. Not sure how long they have been at that location but I live near the area and never knew that plaza was there. The lobby area is not that large but it has a small space for a table and chairs.The service was pretty quick, the host gave me a paper menu and I marked the items I wanted. I purchased a blueberry lemon scone, chocolate chip chunk cookies, snickerdoodles, m&m cookies and a load of nana bread. She went in the back and grabbed what I needed everything was wrapped in plastic to seal in the freshness. I was even able to to have my scone warmed up. They also have soups to purchase as well. I'll have to check the soups out next time. Can't wait to try all bake goods I bought and excited that they have a bakery that I can visit to get what o want.“
“Our first time in Louisville, Kentucky and after all the reviews, we decided to stop in after our 5 hour drive and boy oh boy it was absolutely delicious!Service was friendly and place was really cute! Love the bar and the sign. And lots of seating for you while you wait for your table.The mussels are out of this world!! We got the entree of the Mussels in French broth with garlic and white wine sauce and it was tasty and fresh and just phenomenal! Korean BBQ wings was spicy and tangy. Argentinean burger was as tall as my face and very juicy. Sweet and spicy calamari was my least favorite dish but the stuffed dates with goat cheese and bacon in tomato sauce was surprisingly rich and creamy. Everything was great but you have to get the mussels!!!! Absolutely to die for!“
“I can't say I've ever been to an empanada bar before so this was probably my first. What's not to love about empanasas? A pastry pocket stuffed with meat or veggies or cheese, it's a simple concept and La Masa does it well.The menu offers 16 different empanadas including black bean and chorizo, spinach and cheese, Wisco Corn, Cuban with ham and cheese and pickles and mustard. I opted for the "La Masa Trio" which includes three so I chose Argentine Beef, Lamb Barbacoa and Jamon y Queso (ham and cheese). They took about ten minutes (heating them up, I suppose?) and were presented on a tray with a bowl of jicama slaw and chimichurri.They were hot and while I had high hopes for the ham and cheese, that was my least favorite. It tasted too sweet. The beef was my favorite of the three, well stuffed and with a rich baked flavor. The empanadas themselves were good - flaky and buttery.La Masa has a full bar but it's lunchtime on a workday and a cocktail would definitely have put me out for the afternoon. “Wanted to share my most recent experience at this location. Bundt cakes are a go-to for all of our special occasions, so I stopped in to pick up a cake for a friend's birthday out of town. The clerk was so helpful, offering add-ons and suggestions for how to make her cake extra special. The service was great! On my way out, I tripped on the sidewalk, and both employees quickly came out to help, checked on my cakes and taped back up my boxes. They were so kind and truly went above and beyond. Thank you!“
“This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. It's family owned and the food is fantastic and fresh. I love that they have grass fed beef as an option for their meals. My family's favorite pork fried rice with stone cross farms pork, or the pho! I think I order Saigon noodles with beef the most for myself.“

The hostess was absolutely a gem. Super friendly, energetic, and personable! There was about a 20 minute wait for a table. We decided to grab coffee from the coffee shop next door while we waited. Espresso was great! Food: We ordered a lot of food, lol. We wanted to try literally everything. The hot cinnamon roll was to die for. 4 of us split one as an "appetizer" - it was rich, so I'm glad we split it! All of our food was fresh, hot, and had good flavor. Their homemade jelly was outstanding, and so was their biscuits! Can't wait to go back the next time we visit Louisville!“
