We had both flown in from 2 different states for a couple of attractions. After the Salmon we finished off a huge slice of Carrot Cake. The best I have ever had. “I knew it would be a cool place when the door knobs were gas pumps. Everything was detailed down to the napkin rings. It lived up to its name for sure. The food was amazing! Our waitress Cozy, I can't say enough about her. She had the best personality, super sweet and when we had decided what we wanted she definitely told us about our choices, like how they are prepared, what they come with and if she had tried them herself. It's a nice step up from your Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse chains. It's very reasonably priced for the food and service you receive. Everything on the menu that I have orderd has been excellent. So if you're looking for something more than your average chain steakhouse without dropping the high end steakhouse pricing, then I would recommend giving it a try.“

“This was a very horrible dining experience we ordered there ribeye and added there bacon jam to steak when steak came out both were missing bacon jam the waiter took off before we could tell him finally got the bacon jam on side my steak was tasteless the salad maby had 5 sprigs of cheese on it garlic vegetables almost tasteless small portions when waiter brought our bill he held it in his hand not showing us and said I will take your payment my husband said can I see bill first lol oh ya and handed it to us 85.00 the steaks were 32 00 a piece the menu in restaurant said 27.00 and on line menu said they were 26 the waiter said inflation let me get manager who said the online menu was not there’s in one breath and in next breath said said he would let them know to change it and walked off we were from Illinois visiting ark encounter it was our anniversary so I will be sure to tell everyone in Illinois if they visit Don’t eat here and I scratched out tip on receipt I always leave an 18 to 20 percent tip but not today here’s your tip you are rude and outrageously priced“

They weren’t that busy yet we had to wave them down for refills, to order, to get a box (when we got their attention for a box it was another good 10 minutes b4 they arrived) and then had to get their attention to pay! The food display at the Gourmand Group booth was both captivating and attractive. They offered a wide assortment of salads and some were vegan friendly. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food. “Really enjoyed my birthday celebration at the Greyhound Tavern. We started with Fried Green Tomatoes which are great and the Hot Slaw which a lot of places do not serve anymore. My husband and I had the Walleye which was wonderful. Two others had the Pecan Chicken and raved about the dish. My son had the huge Onion Rings and a steak. The service was friendly and on point as she refilled our drinks without asking. Also, such a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!“

“My daughter and I went with friends today for lunch and it was amazing! There was plenty of parking outside (huge new lot!) and a lot of friendly staff members inside. There were giant TVs on every wall, a great food selection and drink menu. We had the deep fried pickles and cheese pulls for appetizers and they were fresh and delicious! They have a ‘Westside Charcuterie Board’ that’s an appetizer sampler platter for only 20.00! The kid meal was a nice size and my daughter loved the chicken tenders and waffle fries. The service was great. The staff was very attentive and polite. It was too hot for us to sit outside but the patio seating is really really nice! They have really made it a nice place to check out!“
