“Loved our dining experience at Bouqet. Our server Ella was great! We tried the focaccia bread (delicious) and the cheese plate to start. Loved the pickled options. We also tried the steak, meatballs, and salmon. All were so good. The only reason I didn't give full 5 stars due to the noise level from a neighboring table. They were even nice enough to provide a complimentary dessert to apologize for the table's rowdiness. Would definitely recommend and return!“

“Beautiful restaurant. The staff were good, except for our server. She was constantly trying to push alcohol at us, and we weren’t planning on ordering any. When we got there,We told her we were waiting on two others. Before the people we were waiting on arrived, she must have asked us 3-4 times if we were ready to order drinks other than water. Then after the others arrived, it was another 3-4 times. After we repeatedly said that we were going to stick with water. Then after our meal was finished and we were ready for dessert, she brought a complimentary glass of wine for each of us. I was appalled. After we sat there all night telling her that we didn’t want alcohol. I am thankful that we didn’t have someone at our table who was a recovering alcoholic. I mean, can you imagine? I’ve waited tables before, and if I had a whole table be so insistent on not ordering alcohol, I’m definitely not bringing them free drinks. She claimed it was because we were celebrating our anniversary. Well, maybe bring a free dessert instead or something. Or just say happy anniversary. She also interrupted us a lot, like came over and talked over us while we were in the middle of conversation. And she talked A LOT. I mean, we were trying to have a nice celebratory dinner and she was constantly interrupting and talking. I gave the service a four star rating because every other employee that we dealt with was awesome. If it wasn’t for her, it would have been five stars.The food was pretty good. I forgot to take pics, because I try not to have my phone out at a nice dinner. But I ordered the beef tartare, foie gras, and spring pea cappellacci. Beef tartare and foie gras are my two favorite dishes. The ones here were good, but they were probably the ones that I liked the least out of all the places I’ve tried them. The tartare was served with tiny little delicate waffle chips that broke immediately if you tried to put the beef on it. So I ended up just eating the beef with my fork, which was a first. It was also under seasoned. The foie gras seemed either of a lesser quality than I’ve had in the past, or not prepared as well. Usually, cutting through it is as easy as cutting through room temperature butter. There were times that the foie gras squished when I tried to cut it. The cappellacci was stunning. Really quite good. I did not expect that to be my favorite dish.Overall, I loved the atmosphere. Food was good but not great (especially for the price), and the server needs to work on her approach. Probably won’t go back.“

“I was just bragging about my Wednesday evenings at Jeff Ruby's while working in downtown Cincinnati for 2 years. We were so spoiled! We were eating the ultimate steaks and I do mean the best we've ever had steaks, sushi, cocktails and truly wicked awesome service, and last but not least, the Ambience was superb. You can actually hang around where Frank Sinatra hung with so many stars through the years and it's truly an experience! ❤️. We had the pleasure of meeting Jeff on numerous occasions, and he had a passion for the best. When my honey introduced me to Jeff Ruby's, he told me "I'll never have a better steak ever!". It's true! To this day I have not had a better steak and experience! Unfortunately, I've lost my honey but he taught me so much and showed me more than anyone ever could. “A nice family style restaurant with a good menu. Probably more on the pub fare but they do have some dinner entrees. A little variety for everyone. A good local spot also convenient for travelers and others. Easy access off of I-275 of less than a 1/2 mile from the exit. We've always had friendly service here. The food has always been good.“

“A very nice experience eating out. The food that we had there was very good but I will say that the wine that was suggested to us for our meal was not a great match. We also had a little bit of trouble when the waitress did not come to check on us for sometimes long periods of time. The restaurant and the experience were very nice and I think a lot of people would like this place.Parking: There is a parking lot where you can park yourself if just a little bit further away. The majority of the use of the parking lot that is close to the restaurant is valet parking so this is really nice if you are going with someone that is walking impaired or has trouble walking.“

“Emillie was a great server! Let's start with the great things. We did apps and sides. Dumplings were so good but broth was phenomenal !!! Burrata and tomato jam was basically an amazing caprese, sooo good. We also had truffle mushrooms which we added to dumpling broth, YUM! and also had the perfect broccoli with just an ok aioli. Was unimpressed with crab avocado toast, not worth the expense. Have had a a lot of crab food options s and this underwhelmed. Until I tried the doughnuts at OakBrook Bakery! They are absolutely amazing and you can tell that a lot of love went into them! They also have amazing soft pretzels, cookies, cupcakes, and more. “Firstly, the food was good. The burger wasn't the best I've had but it was good. Probably not worth the drive for me, though. The staff were friendly, too.I am irritated with the wait time. When we arrived, we were told that there was a 30 minute wait. Because of how hyped up this place is, we decided to wait. And truly, 30 minutes on a Saturday during peak times is not unreasonable. What annoyed me is that it wasn't until we were seated that we were advised of the food orders being behind and we weren't given an estimate of how long that wait was either. Had we been told upon arriving that we would be there for 2 hours, we would have opted to leave. The owner (I think) was at the host stand when we were deciding whether to wait 30 minutes to be seated. He was friendly but this was his opportunity to let us know that the kitchen was about an hour behind. I think it is disingenuous to tell people there is a 30 minute wait time and not tell them until they are seated that the food orders are behind.It's an issue that has been noted in other reviews, so I don't understand why it's still a problem. Something in their process isn't working.I don't know if we will be back but we will definitely go during non peak times if we do.Editing to add a star because of the owner's response. “Gordos in the hole in the wall burger spot that you didn't know you needed. With thick, unique, and tasty burgers. Thick cut fries come standard. There are so many great burger combos to try, but you need to try either the GFat or the simple PBJ. Across their menu you'll find other sneaky good options like the tacos or the pear salad, but the burgers are the core of why you seek out Gordos. Service can be a little slow, especially when it gets busy, but you can often find this place to be fairly open unless it's a Xavier game day. Helpful to know: Park to the left side of the building in the odd looking lot. The right side of the building parking is owned by a different building/business. On nice days, see if you can sit in the back patio. It's a little oasis from the noisy of Norwoods main drag.“
