Starbucks in Lexington

“I was kind of in a hurry but had to go in because there isn't a drive thru. There was very limited seating inside but the staff was friendly and I got my order fairly quickly despite it being quite busy at the time. I hate the limited parking and parking lot.“

“Personally, I despise Starbucks. But genuinely, this was the greatest starbucks i’ve been to, and it reminds me why tipping so high is important. It was on the quieter end, ALL the employees were patient and kind, Nathan was an amazing customer servicer (can’t think of the right wording lol), and they made some extra things and gave it to us. 10/10 would recommend lol“

“Starbucks is my third runner-up when it comes to coffee spots. The big hassle? They only provide sugar in little packets instead of a dispenser. It’s a real chore—what a bother! 🙄 But when these kids volunteered in to help and poured the packets out, they quickly recognized the challenge I’ve been facing. It was quite the show! 😂 One ended up making a sugar storm all over the place, while the other unintentionally, launched packets like confetti in frustration. I couldn’t help but tell them that this chain really needs to step up and install some sugar dispensers. It isn't their fault.

It would save everyone time, effort, and a whole lot of mess. Seems like Starbucks isn’t quite thinking ahead on this one.
I do praise the efforts of these two giving hundred percent effort. They are amazing kids. They need a pay raise.

“Getting in to the Starbucks was NOT easy, but totally worth it! The drinks were spectacular! Service was quick and friendly and made our drinks so good!I'd definitely come back to this one (especially now that I know how to get into the parking lot... LOL)“

“This is my favorite local Starbucks, hands down. I always grab a table here when I need a change of scenery to focus on work. The atmosphere is bright and clean—I love the marble tabletops!

The real star is the coffee. I ordered the Cold Brew, and it was perfectly smooth and strong. It hit the spot and gave me the energy boost I needed to power through my afternoon tasks on my laptop“

“My daughter and I go here every Monday when I take her to school. They always greet us as we come in. They're pretty good about getting your order done fast. The only issue we ever had was that they were out of a certain cake pop my daughter wanted. The manager on duty came up and apologized and asked her if there was something else she would want instead. My daughter asked her for something different and told us there was no extra charge, and she would handle it. I am very happy with this store and will continue to keep going back for the future.“

“I've only been living in the area for 6 months and have only ever came to this Starbucks. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. The place is kept pretty cleaned constantly. The inside is usually slow as I love it since I do not like crowded study areas where doing work is unbearable. Drive through is usually busy. Inside is pretty big and homey vibes. Love it here!!! The staff is one of the reason I also only come here!!“

“Beverages and food are made with the highest quality, and the staff is amazing! I order the same few items regularly, and if I forget an ingredient they will remember and ask me if I would like it - basically, they know my orders better than I do! Very sweet people, and great tasting food & drinks!“

“The worse starbucks in the city. Theo was horrible and incompetent on Thursday August 5th morning. Missed my pick up order and then argued that I should be in que as her missing it was not the problem. Sad, coz this is the closest starbucks but will not be going back again because of horrible and disrespectful customer service who refuse to see their own mistakes.“

“Went this morning to get an order for moms and kids before a golf tournament. I had multiple items to order. Scarlett and Gray were working, both were TOP NOTCH. I had to add a couple drinks after my initial order. They didn’t even bat an eye at my additional items. All were made PERFECT. Food was fresh and hot. There was no way I was carrying 7 drinks and 4 food items out to my car alone. Scarlett was like I can help you. She and Gray were what a customer service should be. Thank you Starbucks for hiring helpful and kind baristas.“

“A small but complete Starbucks tucked away inside a Kroger store. It's a busy Kroger, so parking is not super easy. There aren't enough tables, so it is mainly a take out or drink while you shop operation. They can check out your groceries for you if you don't have many and are grabbing a coffee on the way out.“

“The waiter was very friendly and service was pretty quick for Starbucks. The only issue I had was the location in relation to navigating the parking lot. If you are not from the area, and I am not, it is slightly confusing. The entrance is nearly hidden as well as the access point to the drive through but I figured it out.“

“I got a strawberry lemonade refresher today and it was AMAZING and my barista, Bella, gave me great service. On top of that, the strawberries were amazing and I ordered extra ON THE SIDE to snack on. Allison I don’t know what your issue is but you seem like an awful person! “I am a student here at UK so I'm frequently here at this Starbucks, my favorite thing about the Starbucks in the student center is the lounge area they have. There are lots of coffee tables and areas to sit inside and outside. I typically feel very relaxed when I'm there, as the vibe is very cozy, and calm. The staff are very nice and welcoming, however when it comes to the performance of the staff they tend to work a little slowly when making drinks/food. If you have never been to this location before I would recommend that if you're getting a drink or food to place an order beforehand as the wait can be awhile and they get extremely busy really fast. As I am a student, sometimes the wait makes me late to class. Also I think it's important to know that this location doesn’t accept FLEX dollars. But overall I'd recommend this Starbucks location 100% to students as it's convenient and close to the dorms, dining hall and classes.“

“Huge shout out to Oz and Arten! (I think I got the second name wrong, but I can’t find the piece of paper I wrote their names on lol). They made THE BEST Caramel Ribbon Crunch I’ve EVER had! They understood the assignment! I’m thinking of taking the long way to work hoping they’re there again!! Haha But they were super nice and made my whole morning!“

“I work at David’s Bridal and have routinely been going to this Starbucks for 7 months. I am consistently impressed with the energy of the team. Emily M ALWAYS makes a perfectly balanced drink and is lightning speed every. single. time.*kachow* couldn’t recommend enough“

“One thing I always appreciate at Starbucks is the friendly hello you get. I don't order much good these days because it's just microwaved and usually average with the same old stuff or often sold out, which i guess is great, for them.
Drinks are often just fine, and consistently made the way you choose. That's important.
I appreciate their clean bathrooms.
Wish they were separate for male and female. Wait times are often too long for the amount of staff and not even a mass of customers. All in all a well-oiled-machine.

“Pulled up to a line of cars almost entirely wrapped around the parking lot. I put a mobile order in about 10 minutes before but I fully expected to have to wait considering the line. Walked in to find my order the way I wanted it with the staff trying their best.Also while I'm here, one time I put a mobile order in and went out to find that my car wouldn't start. I couldn't cancel in the app so I had to call and they let me come in the next day and they remade the order for free. They're super accommodating and they work hard, they just get slammed sometimes.“

“Thank you very much for making our final states side stop one to remember!🩷 the Baristas here are fantastic, from one barista to another. Had over-the top service from Tammy who gave us a good chat at the front and also gave us extra sriracha once seated, Casey who warmed our breakfast and cut my sandwich for me and Fiona who made delicious drinks. “The Starbucks in the Gatton student center is one of my go to places for a drink or to just chill out and study. The atmosphere in this Starbucks is dramatically different depending on the time of day you are there. Morning rushes can be pretty busy, but later in the day it is usually chill. The staff at this Starbucks are awesome. They are hard working and haven't made any mistakes for me yet. They are also just good people. I’m always greeted with a smile in there. Another nice thing about this Starbucks is there are good places to sit. It is also mixed with the bookstore so there is lots to look at. The natural lighting from the windows helps the vibe and makes it even nicer to study in. The mix of the smell of coffee and people chattering creates an awesome environment to get work done. These are the many things that make this Starbucks awesome.“

“Stopped through Winston-Salem while traveling with my family and ended up at this Starbucks. First and foremost, staff was awesome, and very accommodating with my two young toddlers. Our order came out correct and was very good considering we’re Starbucks frequents. The store manager Monique, even came out and spoke with our family while we dined in. Overall, my family enjoyed the experience with staff, the coffee/food, and the entertainment.“

“The Starbucks inside the Willy T Library is one of my favorite spots on campus. Being that this is the largest Starbucks on a college campus, it is always busy no matter what time of day you go. Because of that, the wait times can get pretty long especially between 12-4 p.m. during peak hours of the day. As an avid Starbucks drinker, I still think it is worth it if you need a caffeine boost while studying or if you have time in between classes. The seating options are great and there are plenty of tables, couches, and comfy chairs that make it easy (or in my case harder) to get work done. It's super convenient for students since it's on Central Campus and it's the perfect place to meet up with friends or do some homework. Even though it does get crowded, I can see the employees are trying their best to keep up when the rush comes in to make all of their customers happy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this Starbucks to anyone looking for a comfortable spot to relax during the day.“
