“It’s Father’s Day and we decided to go to the blind squirrel. It busy and we knew it may be a minute. Our food took a little longer than expected but nothing crazy. Some sweet man from the kitchen brought our food out and apologized for the wait and told us that the food was on him. Such a generous gesture. I would highly recommend eating here. “We went there for the first time. The wait at 1 pm was only about 10 minutes for 5 people. The crab Benedict was sooooooo good! Delicious! Also had the Mushroom Omelet , it was delicious. “So we came out to Bud’s Tavern JTown last night with our children(9 and 13) and about 10 other people all the way from Bloomfield, Ky to sing some Karaoke. The KJ(Mike Boughey) informed my wife that he wouldn’t let kids sing. Finally my daughter was allowed to sing. I just thought it was very unprofessional that the KJ was picking and choosing who was allowed to sing. We have traveled to all kinds of venues for karaoke, and this was the first time this has ever happened. Karaoke isn’t about have just top notch singers! It’s about having a good time, and it shouldn’t matter if you’re a great singer or not! The food was great! But as I stated the KJ was unprofessional!“

I didn’t have room to eat the fresh asparagus and I ordered a California cobb salad with jumbo shrimp and fresh lobster claw meat with avocado which I will have for lunch tomorrow. I placed my order online late last night when I read about the fresh crab and scheduled to pick it up at 4 today. He cooked it all right there in front of me, everything fresh and tasty. “We love our Jeffersontown, Cracker Barrel, and frequent it often. Delicious choices, healthy choices, breakfast choices, and tender, warm biscuits, always available. We hope you’re lucky enough to have Mia as your server. She treats us like family, tops off our drinks without asking, always checking to make sure we have everything we need and delivers delicious hot meals as soon as they’re ready. “Stayed here for a weekend in August. Nice, clean, suburban hotel with restaurants and shopping all around and easy access to I-265 and I-71. Common areas were clean. Nice, big lobby with a lot of seating and space for families or groups. We were in a 1 Bedroom 2 room Suite, 1 King, Sofa bed room, which gave the three of us plenty of space. The bedroom was spacious as well. Internet worked well. Plenty of free parking.“

The addition of the monogrammed large ice cubes was a great touch. The bread. The bread comes to the table with a tallow candle and lemon juice on the plate. It was truly delicious. All of us raved about our meals. The topper was dessert. The manager, Tim, let us know that the last piece of our first choice was not up to their standards. This is amazing. I love that the restaurant is keeping their food standards so high. Our second choice was still remarkable.
