“Went there to celebrate my birthday. This is one of my favorite restaurants. Today was no different. Great margaritas. Great food. Had to leave right after food delivered to take care of something. Came back a few minutes later, the server had put the foodnunder heat to keep fresh and hot for me. After dinner the staff brought me out a tres Leche cake and Sombrero and sung to me. Made my dinner end in a special way. I will definitely be returning again.Ordered the big green burrito! It is my definite go to. Queso was hot and yummy also. Pitcher house margaritas were top notch also“

“Sooo good. This was our first visit and rarely do I eat out and immediately want to leave a review. I had the vegetarian fajitas nachos and it was perfect. I usually want sour cream but this was perfect without it. The veggies, beans and cheese were evenly distributed, fresh snd flavorful. My husband ordered the stuffed poblano peppers with chicken, rice and refried black beans. He was impressed as well and the black beans may be the best refried beans I've ever had. We will definitely be back. Give this place a try- it is fantastic!“

“This has become my husband and my favorite taco place in St. Matthews! The service is always great, it's clean, and there is a great menu. Plenty of drink options and the outdoor patio is large and really nicely set up. I switch between the Crazy Cheese and Al Pastor tacos and Chicken Quesadilla, and my husband gets the Pollo, Fish, or Steak tacos. You get plenty of food for the price, so we sometimes will only get one taco. The Chips and Guac is good also. Plus, plenty of parking so it's really a no-brainer!“

“My wife and I believe that it may be one of the best kept secrets in Louisville. A person almost wouldn't notice it, as they drive down Frankfort Ave. But, this little gem of a food truck serves some of the finest Mexican cuisine you have ever tasted.“

“If you’re an OG from Okolona or Highview, then you know this to be the same location of Villa Romano from way back. This is is a small and nice Mexican restaurant with a great menu variety. The menu is in Spanish but understandable with basic information. We had great and friendly service. Like in many countries, they don’t serve tap water. They do serve complimentary warm chips and a tasty bean dip. We ordered the guacamole and it was very fresh and chunky. It was gone before I could snap a photo. My husband got the huarache - big enough to share. My poblano relleno was fantastic. It came with rice and beans and the batter was eggy and good. It also was served with HANDMADE tortillas. Such an unexpected treat! There is a very spicy green salsa and a medium smoky red salsa that they also bring to the table.I can’t wait to go back and try something else.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu.“

“The food I'm general is fairly tasty. However when ordering the asada Tacos I've had times where they're great and other times the meat is full of fat and gristle which I am not a fan of. The waitresses there are all easy on the eyes and very friendly. Their salsa Picosa is great as well as their pickled purple onions. “

Food was a step up from a lot of the other Mexican offerings in Crestwood. The atmosphere and restaurant was really, really nice. “First time here, my wife and I decided to try this for lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious! I love the condiment bar. The queso is full of flavor, unlike many of the more traditional more "bland" queso dips. Also, must try the elotes. They have four varieties to choose from. Prices were decent, and service was top notch...Nia was very helpful. We will probably end up making this one of our regular spots when we come to town.“

“This is a nice restaurant with a good selection. The prices are reasonable as well. I love the white sauce for dipping your chips. The best part is the discount they give GE Appliances employees on weekdays. Makes me want to go back. This trip we had a large group. They took real good care of us.“

He's concerned with making sure the customer is satisfied, so when he questioned whether the bread was right, he went to a bakery and had them make bread specifically for his sandwiches. I drive from Fern Creek to get here. It is worth the drive. The tacos are delicious. The wet burritos are awesome. There is nothing that I have had at this food truck that has ever disappointed me. “Perfect chicken tacos. My husband and I were mourning the closing of our favorite taco/burrito spot in Louisville, but then we realized this place was right down the road!! Lots of tables to eat in if you want. Green salsa is very spicy and very delicious; it's more of a creamy avocado sauce. Husband's chorizo burrito was pretty big and hearty without being greasy. We'll be back. Like a lot.“

“Food I Rank 3 ⭐️ due to the lack of taste of true Mexico food ? for the food taste like any other American version of Mexican food.Serves I Rank 5 ⭐️ for the servers go above and beyond to accommodate the guest which makes the environment fill comfortably relaxedAtmosphere I rank 5 ⭐️ for the music, environment, is sorta like a Mexican environment. Therefore I give a 4 ⭐️ for effort and not a 5 star due to the food just didn’t remind me of true authentic Mexican food.“

“Food average, meaning nothing bad at all but what you would expect from a local Mexican restaurant. It's nice to get what you have come to expect. Food was inexpensive, good & abundant. Good place to gather with friends. Comfortable place to hang out in. Service speed is outstanding! Not sure how they do it! Slightly difficult to get extra items after food has arrived so it pays to order everything at once!“

“I was tired of the same ole breakfast places I've been to. Saw this place and was eager to try it.Top things to note:The service - Nothing short of amazing. Our server was super sweet, bubbly, and helpful. The food -I'm not going to lie. I was really nervous about trying something new. So my husband, best friend, and I all got different things just in case. To my surprise, everything was delicious! It's hard to explain, but everything was so fresh. Nothing tasted like it had been microwaved, left out, or old. It was also cooked just perfect. I didn't have a mimosa, but my husband and friend did. They very much enjoyed it. The serving sizes looked small, BUT they were so filling! The atmosphere -This place has tall ceilings, so even when it's busy, you don't feel suffocated. There's plenty of seating to eat with a group of friends and is family friendly. Overall it's fresh clean and modern. The cons-The music here is very loud. It's almost like being at a club. If it was a tinge lower, it would be so much nicer. Lastly, if you have a physical disability, it may be a pain to get in. There are a set of two doors front and back you have to go through to get in.Overall, I'd say check this place out for yourself!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a set of two doors you have to go through before getting into this place.“

“My favorite spot to get fried tilapia, cooked carnitas and chicaron. They have plenty of produce selection-specially their giant avocados. I often get their pre chopped vegetables for caldos. It comes with peeled and cute potatoes, carrots, cilantro, and corn. The butcher is a great spot to get your ox tails and sausages. They also sell tamales here-my favorite is the chicken and the cheese.“

“So finding Taqueria La Güera was meant to be. I vividly remember find this taco spot late at night and it was one of their first days open. It was my birthday and I had to work late, the main taco truck I used to frequent wasn’t there for the night, I tried 2 more back up spots and sadly they weren’t there. I had given up almost all hope when on my way back home resigned that for my birthday I wouldn’t get any carne asada tacos which I was craving. I decided to take a different route since I had previously noticed that the stand had changed at this location. I drove by and saw light on, I made a U-turn and pulled into the parking lot. And from that moment on…after tasting the delicious Carne Asada, fresh avocado, crisp onions La Güera has become by go to spot, I visit 1-2 times a week now. I’ve had everything from the tacos, quesadillas, burritos, empanadas and even the hot dog (which surprisingly hits the spot too). There are times when I’ve eaten dinner and my wife didn’t and she will send me out to get chicken tacos. Absolutely the best in town, and I will keep coming back as long as they are open!“

“I got 3 carne asada soft tacos. Tacos were good. However, $4.25 for 1 taco is steep, especially when the taco size is not big. Perhaps next time, I’ll go on Taco Tuesday when it’s $1.99 or get the Street Taco combo for a better value. Other than that, I would not pay $4.25 for a taco “

“Love this place! I work long hours and travel all the time, so I slept in today while in Louisville, KY. Their tables were very clean, nice and comfortable in a booths with privacy like environment. So I had no shame in my game eating like a Champ. ? Had some delicious Huevos Rancheros and coffee. “My "live affair" with El Nopal had a rocky start. But I have to admit, it's becoming a "go to" for quick, affordable, and good Tex-mex food. This time, I went with Tortilla soup on a chilly night. I wasn't sure if it filled me, so I added a steak taco. Silly me. I ended up taking soup home. I'm not sure if I've ever seen more chicken in tortilla soup from any Mexican restaurant. The broth could have used a bit more spice, but nothing a little salt & pepper couldn't fix. BTW, it seems that Tuesdays & Saturdays are karaoke nights. Normally, that would make me cringe. But on this Tuesday night a bunch of seniors, who are regulars, were pretty darn good. And friendly, too. Ends up, they were every bit as satisfying as my meal.“

“It appears that it's recently been rebranded Mesa de la Familia but if you've been to El Caporal in the past take comfort in knowing that the menu and the food you've come to expect will be available. I'm generally torn between one of three things: Beef Tip Chimichanga (fried), Chilies Poblanos Rellenos, or De Mole. The Chimi is my favorite as the beef tip falls apart in a gloriously shredded and mouthwateringly juicy fashion. The Rellenos is perfect when I'm not as hungry (or I've managed to eat way more chips and salsa than I thought I would and perhaps a language barrier resulted in my cerveza containing 20 more fluid ounces than I intended - there are worse things that can happen). De mole is the sort of dish that I reach for when I want a meal that is uniquely Mexican; I could be wrong but I don't think think mole makes it on the menu at many other Mexican restaurants and sometimes it just feels right to order the "meal of the ancient Aztec gods."“
“I picked this restaurant as I was looking for a vegan friendly location on our way from Nashville to Chicago and was so delighted by Agave and Rye! The food was delicious and they went above and beyond for my vegan friends, making the elote and guacamole just for them. They loved their food as did I (I’m the omnivore). The guac was delicious and the tortilla chips clearly made in house. I’m honestly not sure if I liked the food or the eclectic decor more. The different chandeliers in each room and the vibrant paint made for a cheerful lunch! So glad we found this gem!“

With that being said they didn't have what I wanted but when asked can you add this, etc it wasn't a problem. When it came out it was delicious. The salsa and dipping sauce were exceptional. Took it home as Ieft overs and used on a homemade salad. It made the salad. Waitress was exceptional.“

“I live in Louisville. I've sorely missed tamales, pozole, breakfast tacos, etc. pretty much anything Mexican since I left Austin, TX. I asked woman I ASSumed who is Mexican if she knew where I can find some tamales and she recommended this place. I made a plan to visit this place this weekend. We walked into this magical Mexican grocer which has all the secrets to Mexican cooking and culture. What was more exciting I knew we wasn't supposed to be there cause we got the looks black folks give white folks when they invade our spaces. This is when I knew I hit the jackpot! We got a dozen tamales, 1/2 chicken and pork, and we went to the restaurant next door to eat pozole. It was yummy!“

“Everything tasted good, and the atmosphere is great for a group of friends or for families. Depending on your people, there's a bar area in the back separate from the family tables in the front. Food was a little pricey, especially for pre-packaged stuff (think $4 for a bottle of soda). Also was a bit loud, but that's everywhere it seems like. Food was good enough that I'll be back!“

“I have been a very regular customer for over 5 years. The flavors are amazing, the quality is superior and i will continue to come cus they're just excellent. I even worked for the company some time ago and the managers and GM are just the best! There is just one tiny thing tho that is bugging me as a customer who calls there all the time, i wish they buy some Caller ID phones because they are the only one who ask for your phone number every single time you call. Everywhere else you give ur name and thats it. Here you have to give both ur name and ur phone number every single time you call to make a to go order and to me is just annoying. Maybe the only reason this bothers me is just because i call a lot but i really wish they would eventually change the way the do this because really, is annoying. Yesterday when i gave all my info and ordered they where out of what i order so it was even more annoying to give all that info for nothing cus i didnt order anything else, i wanted that specific item. Just buy some Caller ID phone guys, is simple! If somebody wont pick up their order, having their phone number wont make them come anyways, they just wont answer their phones when u call them lol is just unecesary. Sorry, no hate, i will continue to come but that really annoys me, hopefully they fix it. Love.“

“When I went there for a friend’s birthday, we were easily able to buy our food at the kiosk tablets. It took a little while to get our food, but when we got it, everyone seemed to enjoy it. Me personally, however, enjoyed it as much as I could for Taco Bell food. However, after we started to celebrate we, the only people in the restaurant, as we were walking out met a very unpleasant worker who told us that we needed to leave. We joke about it now, but at the time it was not enjoyable.Parking: It was practically empty except for the workers cars, but it wasn’t that out of the ordinary consider it was 8pm.“
