It appears to get very busy on the weekend evenings. So get there early if you want a seat. Appears several local regulars visit.“

“The Old Guys Pub Crawl love this place. It's been awhile since we were last there as we still pick up a first time bar on a regular basis. We've been to about 80-90 bars by now and ofter return to some favorites. The folks at Squires were great to meet. Some of the regulars joined us in a photo.
We love this place. Crawled from Spuds to Squires today, 8/15, and had a wonderful time with the Old Guys Pub Crawl and possibly picked up another old guy. Dudes, save $ for your retirement. She was still there, working so fast that she's blurred. We love this lady.“

“Drinks are stiff and cold, staff are incredibly nice, they play good music all day and night, lots of big screen televisions w sports usually on, good vibes, fair prices, good parking, and there’s also darts, billiards, karaoke, and a mini arcade section in the back where you can play some of the most beloved classics in peace like Mortal Kombat II, Street Fighter II Tournament Exition, NFL Blitz ‘99, NBA Jam, Big Buck Hunter RELOADED, Ski ball, and they also have the best pinball machine ever made: Stern’s Godzilla.6 out of 5. An extra point for having Stern’s new Godzilla pinball machine, the only public place it’s available to play in Lexington.-Tim“

“We used to frequent this place about 15-20 years ago. I was in the area and amazed it was still there! We stopped in for lunch and it was like riding a bike. The same great service and fantastic bar food, and the price was as cheap as 20 years ago! The memories I had came flying in and put a huge smile on my face ❤️

“Still a fun place to go but I feel like they're kind of running on fumes at the moment. Every time I've gone in, the men's room has gotten a little scarier and the pile of broken chairs in the corner is growing. It just seems like they're existing but not taking steps to improve.. That said, the bar staff is super friendly and they still bring in fun entertainment. I hope they start taking pride in the establishment again and clean up the rough edges.“

“My mother brought me for dinner and as a first time experience it was amazing all around the board. The food was delicious , fresh and fairly priced. The best part was our waiter Eric. He was patient and explained the menu to help recommend fan favorite items. He recommended the banana pudding and I honestly don’t like that dish but after trying it that was my favorite and I will be back to get more!“

“Everything at Honeywoood is done with such beautiful intentionality, like all of a Ouita Michel’s creations. It is no accident that you feel surrounded by Kentucky history, agriculture and the arts when you enter any of her establishments. The food is no exception. While she could not possibly be in all restaurants at the same time, she selects the best team members to represent her vision and values. We loved every part of our experience at Honeywood. Food: creamy grits and polenta, slow cooked greens, risotto, local beef and quail, fresh seasonal vegetables, crispy country ham, deviled eggs stuffed with lump crab???? AND those damn sweet potato beignets!!! Never disappoint. service is top notch, without all the fanfare of a fine dining restaurant. Wine list and craft cocktails are legit. Anything goes and we felt comfortable in fancy duds and blue jeans with a T-shirt (which you can purchase in any of her places as well as her cookbook).
