“We had my daughter‘s bridal shower at this restaurant and let me tell you everything about it was spectacular: the view, the food, the service, parking and accessibility, cleanliness. Julie, the event manager, took care of everything exactly as I wanted it without needing to be reminded of how we wanted the private room to be set up. The servers attended to our needs constantly and were very professional. The food was even better than expected, The restrooms were clean and of course the views were spectacular watching the ships come and go. Truly a wonderful experience.“

“Harrods Creek Tavern is one of those gems that just feels perfect. It has that welcoming vibe where everyone seems to know everyone, almost like stepping into an episode of Cheers. The atmosphere and staff is laid-back and friendly, and they’ve even got slots inside if you’re feeling lucky.

The food is fantastic. My wife ordered the potato salad and a grilled chicken sandwich; both were excellent, especially the potato salad. I went with the fried bologna sandwich, and it was absolutely awesome. Great portions, great flavor, and exactly what you want from a spot like this.

Whether you drive in or pull your boat right up to their dock, Harrods Creek Tavern is worth the trip. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.“

“We took our out of town guests yesterday. Our server Jessica was amazing! She really made our night! (If you are reading this Jessica, y’all/yins did a great job! Lol.) Everyone loved their cocktails. The pork chop was very tasty and perfectly cooked, loved the shrimp and grits… so flavorful! The salmon was also delicious! We had the cheese and hummus plate as a starter and I was not a fan. The hummus was gummy and had an odd flavor. The rest of our group didn’t mind it. I could have had the bruschetta as my meal… yum! For dessert we had the bread pudding and asked to have some bourbon to pour on top (so good!), the lava cake (wow) and the brûlée (coffee flavored and very nice). We were the last to leave and Jessica and the rest of the staff treated us if we had all the time in the world. We so appreciated that! Our experience was so special! Thank you!“

Heat was intense, table was so loose we would not be able to hold it and eat, and table was covered with some sticky substance. We would have asked to move but nobody came to the table. So we left. “It’s Father’s Day and we decided to go to the blind squirrel. It busy and we knew it may be a minute. Our food took a little longer than expected but nothing crazy. Some sweet man from the kitchen brought our food out and apologized for the wait and told us that the food was on him. Such a generous gesture. I would highly recommend eating here. “What an incredible experience. The place is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We started our night with the house old fashioned cocktails. We ordered the bread basket with homemade brioche, foccacia, and jalapeño cheddar bread with flour de sel and sorghum butters. Every bite was worth it. I picked the lamb Campanella. My husband ordered steak and potatoes. Absolutely the best dinner we will have all year. We made reservations here for our anniversary, and we were treated to champagne and caramel popcorn creme brulee. This was the highlight of our trip - I would recommend to anyone to make reservations here!“

“We used The Copper Room at Orange Clover for a baby shower for a first time momma to be. I just cannot find the words for how wonderful the experience was. First off, the staff, absolutely phenomenal. Every single person I talked to (I’m sorry I don’t remember names, my memory is lacking currently) was so sweet and helpful. I appreciate every single one of you. Second, the food was perfect and delicious. Third, the room itself was everything I hoped it would be and more. “Small eating area but that doesn’t matter to me. The food is delicious! I had the fresh crab cakes, fresh Brussels sprouts…omg amazing. I didn’t have room to eat the fresh asparagus and I ordered a California cobb salad with jumbo shrimp and fresh lobster claw meat with avocado which I will have for lunch tomorrow. I placed my order online late last night when I read about the fresh crab and scheduled to pick it up at 4 today. He cooked it all right there in front of me, everything fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!!“

“I do NOT recommend this place. We went with a party of 15 this afternoon and had a truly disappointing, awful experience. We arrived shortly after they opened. We were the only ones on the outside patio the entire visit (just shy of 3 hours) and the inside dining room never got very busy, but you'd never guess by how terrible the service was. It took nearly 2 hours for (most of) our food to come out, and even then, several orders were wrong. Our drinks were rarely filled. Our waitress and other staff may have been stretched too thin, but did the manager ever come out to speak with us or try to make things right even once? nope! The food and beer prices are high and not worth the price. (Food arrived cool and tasted ok... not worth the prices.) No apologies were offered before we left after paying our expensive tabs. We will not be back. Don't waste your time! They clearly don't care about getting return customers.“
