“I recently hosted our early company Christmas party at P.F. Chang’s, and this was our second year choosing this location. Once again, the food was excellent and the service was top-notch.

Our server, Mikayla, did an outstanding job taking care of our group of about ten people. She was attentive, organized, and never missed a detail. On top of her impressive service, she brought an upbeat personality, great sense of humor, and a genuinely kind attitude that made the evening even more enjoyable.

“Stopped in for lunch today. Hidden gem! Rarely get to this side of town but we will be returning. Service was great. Food was phenomenal. Rice flavorful and sticky. Jalapeño chicken was juicy and the perfect level of spice. We inquired about their sweet and sour sauce as it wasn’t sickly sweet like what you typically expected at a Chinese restaurant and they told us they make it in house. Very good! Spicy mustard was even better. 10/10 would return“

“For a small buffet in an old Pizza Hut building, I was more than surprised and pleased. The food is fresh and good on the buffet. More importantly, the atmosphere is very clean and nicely kept. These folks are working hard to keep customers. The selection is not huge, and there is no sushi, but what they do have is two buffet tables full of well prepared hot dishes of traditional buffet fare. Another table of salads, fruits and small sampling of desserts. Plus, dip your own ice cream of 4 flavors. Call me impressed.“

“This is my most favorite restaurant. I wish they would get on to doordash so I could have it delivered across the bridge to Jeffersonville Indiana. When I worked downtown Louisville at Humana we would eat there at least three times a week. All of the employees loved this restaurant. Please consider going on to doordash. I am disabled and cannot drive anymore so I cannot go to the greatest restaurant in Kentucky or Southern indiana. Thank you“

“This place has been my go-to & favorite place for fast Chinese food! I've literally been a loyal patron of theirs for over a decade. They provide the kindest service and I've always treated us with the utmost respect. Service like this is dying out these days. You will always be greeted with a smile and warmed by it.As for the food in my opinion it's one of the best Louisville has to offer and they don't get enough credit for that!The restaurant is always clean and maintained with direct sight to the kitchen. The kids love to watch them cook.I hope they have many years ahead and prosperous ones at that! And China 1, if you ever read this, thank you for all you do!

I Had the Pineapple Chicken and I mist say it was some of the best I've ever tasted it was sweet and crispy although it was heavily glazed in this sauce that I could practically drink lbs....I asked for a personal sauce for the road...they were very accommodating...Will definitely be back 10/10‼️“

“I have only had take out from here I have to give a neutral rating for atmosphere. I can say however is that the food and service are great. I normally get an couple of quarts of hot sour soup which I take home and eat on for a couple of days. I have had HS soup from a number of eateries across Louisville. This is the best; very thick, rich and chunky.“

They are fast, they have messed up maybe 2 times, only forgetting drinks those times, but they offered to bring the drinks to me. “The family was working so hard since they were super busy on the night I went. Still it was only a 20 min wait which I thought was reasonable being as they had a full lobby. Got my food at the quoted time. Let me tell you their honey chicken with pork fried rice is a little price of heaven on earth... Yum, yum, and yum! And chef's kiss to their crab rangoons... “I’m genuinely shocked by the low ratings for Chinese Gourmet Express, particularly at the Greentree Mall location. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, frequenting both this spot and their location at the Mall of St. Matthews. In my experience, this restaurant never misses.

The food is consistently delicious, no matter what I order. It’s a favorite for my kids, too—they ask for it every time we visit the mall. The portions are generous, contrary to some of the complaints I’ve seen. For around $10, you get a meal that fills you up, which is a great value, especially compared to other mall food options.

“We ate at Jumbo Buffet for my son's 10th birthday dinner, when we arrived the staff asked how old he was he very proudly told them it's his birthday, after our meal the staff brought him a dessert from the buffet with a candle in it she went above and beyond. The food was delicious and fresh and constantly attended to! It's a little pricey for a buffet but certainly worth the price!“
