“Huge selection of menu items! Dined in … delicious meal served to us quickly and everything was hot and full of wonderful flavor. Didn’t take long to have dinner brought to us and apparently lots of customers order ahead and pick up on the way home.“

“The restaurant is always in clean shape except the bathrooms. Women's bathroom has a broken sink. The overall cleanliness of both bathrooms are below average. It needs a good deep clean and since we normally eat there for dinner, it looks like nobody checks on it throughout the day. This has been a consistent observation through many visits.“

Jalapeño chicken was juicy and the perfect level of spice. We inquired about their sweet and sour sauce as it wasn’t sickly sweet like what you typically expected at a Chinese restaurant and they told us they make it in house. Very good! Spicy mustard was even better. 10/10 would return“

“We’ve loved Yen Ching for at least 15 years. The food is awesome and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We have tried the tofu with vegetables in garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, and beef with vegetables in garlic sauce. Wonton soup and Crab rangoon are the best around! “This place has been my go-to & favorite place for fast Chinese food! I've literally been a loyal patron of theirs for over a decade. They provide the kindest service and I've always treated us with the utmost respect. Service like this is dying out these days. You will always be greeted with a smile and warmed by it.As for the food in my opinion it's one of the best Louisville has to offer and they don't get enough credit for that!The restaurant is always clean and maintained with direct sight to the kitchen. The kids love to watch them cook.I hope they have many years ahead and prosperous ones at that! And China 1, if you ever read this, thank you for all you do!

“This is my most favorite restaurant. I wish they would get on to doordash so I could have it delivered across the bridge to Jeffersonville Indiana. When I worked downtown Louisville at Humana we would eat there at least three times a week. All of the employees loved this restaurant. Please consider going on to doordash. “Been ordering pickup/delivery here for years. Usually at least once a month. Food is solid nothing that blows me away but it's reasonably priced, tasty, and good portions. Service is excellent. They've never gotten an order wrong or failed to include an item in the order.“

“For a small buffet in an old Pizza Hut building, I was more than surprised and pleased. The food is fresh and good on the buffet. More importantly, the atmosphere is very clean and nicely kept. These folks are working hard to keep customers. The selection is not huge, and there is no sushi, but what they do have is two buffet tables full of well prepared hot dishes of traditional buffet fare. Another table of salads, fruits and small sampling of desserts. Plus, dip your own ice cream of 4 flavors. Call me impressed.“

“I've been by this place and finally decided to stop in and try it. The first time was a weekend day and it was really good. The food was hot, delicious and they had a very good selection. They had very good service also. We tried it next on a weekday and again, the same as before, very good. “I absolutely love the Westport Rd. Panda Express! The staff are always friendly, and are sure to make you satisfied. The other day they were out of greens and said they’d make me a fresh batch without me even asking. The store is clean both behind the counter as well as the lobby. Even better is the fact I can get a plate with an additional side for $11.98. In 2024 that is saying something.“

“Best Chinese buffet within 100 miles. Very reasonable prices, and everything on the buffet is something I would eat - no filler food. Plenty of parking. They do not have shrimp with lobster sauce, but they have everything else, desserts, sushi, three buffet tables, lots of various shrimp dishes, chicken, beef, vegs, Hibachi. We usually stay two hours. Nice atmosphere, unlike Golden Corral which is incredibly noisy. Small senior discount.“

“I’m genuinely shocked by the low ratings for Chinese Gourmet Express, particularly at the Greentree Mall location. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, frequenting both this spot and their location at the Mall of St. Matthews. In my experience, this restaurant never misses.

The food is consistently delicious, no matter what I order. It’s a favorite for my kids, too—they ask for it every time we visit the mall. The portions are generous, contrary to some of the complaints I’ve seen. For around $10, you get a meal that fills you up, which is a great value, especially compared to other mall food options.

The cleanliness of the restaurant has always impressed me as well. I’ve never walked in and found it dirty, which is a major plus for a fast-paced mall food court establishment. The staff are polite and efficient, making the dining experience even better.

The only downside I’ve ever encountered is the price of their drinks. If you opt for a bottled beverage, it’s not a full 20-ounce size, and the cost is on the higher side. However, that’s a minor issue compared to the overall quality of the food and service.

“We ate at Jumbo Buffet for my son's 10th birthday dinner, when we arrived the staff asked how old he was he very proudly told them it's his birthday, after our meal the staff brought him a dessert from the buffet with a candle in it she went above and beyond.
