The attendant hand you a ball and points you towards the bar and you can add whatever you want to your bowl and then they cook it up in front of you with your choice of brown rice white rice fried rice or noodle! The prices is based on the weight. $7.99 per pound. for the two of us, we spent $22. y'all don't sleep on this place!“

“We’ve loved Yen Ching for at least 15 years. The food is awesome and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We have tried the tofu with vegetables in garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, and beef with vegetables in garlic sauce. Wonton soup and Crab rangoon are the best around! “This is one of the two best Chinese restaurants in Louisville. One is more authentic, and this place is for all the 'chinese takeout' staples. & I mean no insult or disrespect in that. Both are delicious and both serve a purpose. Also the nostalgia when dining in makes me just as happy as the food. The general Taos, spicy orange chicken & Singapore noodles are the best I've ever had!!“

Best sweet and sour chicken in Louisville. Best Chinese in Louisville. Their bourbon chicken is something special as well, and their fried rice. They need to go back to their old egg rolls though but they still get an A++ from me.“

“This is my most favorite restaurant. I wish they would get on to doordash so I could have it delivered across the bridge to Jeffersonville Indiana. When I worked downtown Louisville at Humana we would eat there at least three times a week. All of the employees loved this restaurant. Please consider going on to doordash. They are fast, they have messed up maybe 2 times, only forgetting drinks those times, but they offered to bring the drinks to me. Best Mongolian Beef in town BY FAR, and I've sampled Chinese restaurants across the city. The menu is expansive; hard to imagine someone who likes Chinese food being unable to find something to eat. The food comes in generous portions, and the restaurant presents a very clean, orderly atmosphere. Servers are quick to respond, and very courteous ....we have never been disappointed by the service here. Prices are very reasonable. We are going back this week for a late Father's Day dinner to celebrate my becoming a grandfather!“

The wait time was a bit longer because of how busy it was, but the staff there reassured everyone and even began to throw in a few complimentary items, which they didn't have to.
