“Fantastic space for all types of coffee days --they have a very cozy bar/ledge in the front of the shop for a quick stand-up coffee and in the back and upstairs, plent of large tables if you need to get some work done. The back patio has a covered roof but plenty of fresh air coming in. Clean and neat with a touch of coziness, and the coffee was excellent.“

After a few recommendations I decided to go with something and when I did, I was not disappointed. “The barista was very friendly and gave great suggestions for coffee! I cannot remember his name, but he was a great personality to have at a coffee shop! The coffee is great as long as you have a shot of espresso. Other than that I feel like it's not strong enough! Good flavor though!“

“Def a cute coffee shop. If your not a Harry Potter fan you might not understand some of the posters and decor but it's definitely an original and a gem. I can't wait to see the expansion and the years of growth.

Update: after talking more with the staff apparently the Harry Potter theme is seasonal! So I'm excited to see what theme spring will be 😁

Still love coming here. The vibe is nice, so many different people come here and I always leave smiling. I enjoyed the $1 tarot card prediction and sometimes they sell stickers at the register and im a sticker junkie for my water cups. Still love it 🖤💜

She made me a peppermint iceburg (something that was not on the menu) and quickly but was really friendly and she upped the size of my drink for me and let me use my rewards credit to pay for it so it was no charge to me. “Cafe Shiraz is an absolute gem! My sister and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. First tempted by the beautiful pastries in the case, we ordered a baklava and an almond croissant. Then we turned to the menu and got the Breakfast Platter For Two. We took our seats in the cozy, bright cafe and ate our desserts first - unbelievably delicious! The baklava was flaky and delectable; the almond croissant was served warm which brought out the flavors of the buttery layers and sweet almond. Then came the breakfast platter! Life changing!!! This was essentially a charcuterie board of breakfast goodness, including fried eggs, ham, a bagel, feta cheese, butter, cream cheese, walnuts, honey, sliced veggies, strawberries, and lavash. We noshed on this wonderful concoction combining different flavors with each bite. Everything was fresh and delicious and the lavash was crispy and seasoned to perfection. In addition to the amazing food, the atmosphere is cozy and bright and the proprietor was extremely friendly. Located on the corner of Brownsboro Rd and William St, close to Mellwood, Cafe Shiraz is the perfect spot for a meal or snack before or after shopping at Mellwood Arts Center or Work the Metal, or walking around Nulu! A solid 5 stars!“
