“Got Bourbon chicken, egg roll and some dumplings for later. The atmosphere is alright, nothing fancy but not the ugliest or worse looking place I've been in, very quite. It's hard to rate service since that can change day by day but for me I waited over 30 minutes to get any of my food (only 1 person ahead of me) and the lady taking my order was very nice. For the food; the dumplings where very good, the egg roll was a lot smaller than what I was expecting but pretty much what you'd expect and the rice was good too. The bourbon chicken was tender and delicious however I would have perfered more sauce on it or it swimming in it as it was a bit dry and needed it. All in all out of all the Chinese restaurants I've had this one would make the top 10 but not my top 5.“

“We love Golden City! They’re a great neighborhood restaurant. I really appreciate how easy their website is to order off of too. We normally get takeout but have dined there once, it’s a fast casual environment. The staff is always efficient and nice. And the food is crave-worthy. We especially love their wonton soup, eggrolls, crispy fried wontons, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, and moo goo gai pan. We even got someone else’s order delivered to us by DoorDash mistake once and (& they told us to keep it) and all the new foods we tried were delicious too, like the ribs! Love the 2 and 3 entree plates, it's an inexpensive way to get several choices, and the take home orders are large enough to share.
They have two free parking spots in back for customers, three metered spots on the street for anyone, and a metered parking lot across the street, (50cents for 15 minutes). There's a garage behind the restaurant. I don't know if it's paid or free parking.“

The Dry braised Green Cabage is good and decent with rice. The pep corn chili Sauce fish with many pep inside, the fish is wrapped with too much flour. A general good choice for Chinese cuisine in the area.“

“We used to eat here a lot more than we do now due to kids and their food allergies, but we still have it about once a month when we find time to eat alone. We have been coming for years and have never had an issue! We're creatures of comfort and usually pick between the sweet and sour chicken, bourbon chicken, sesame chicken, and general tso's chicken (mild because I'm a wimp). I always get pork egg rolls and the lo mein. We get carryout, which usually takes 15-20 minutes unless you get bourbon chicken, which takes 30(?), and the food is still hot and fresh when we get home. Great experience for us EVERY time. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this restaurant sooner.“

“This is our go-to Chinese take out. The food is always good and both my wife and kids enjoy it. The kids get the chicken lo mein and sweet and sour chicken that they call Chinese chicken nuggets. The lo mein is flavorful and the noodles are tender. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy.

I got the beef with broccoli and pork fried rice. The beef was flavorful and the broccoli was cooked perfectly, still just a little crunchy and bright green.

My wife gets the bourbon chicken which is her favorite. It is delicious. She also ordered the cheese wontons (crab Rangoon) and they were crispy and full of filling. The pork egg rolls were good too.“

“This is a great place to get authentic Chinese food the staff is actually from China so they cook really good food and it's not overprised.. I have actually been coming here for years it's a good little spot and if you wanna sit and eat it's usually not that crowded they mainly do take out and drive-through.“

“I go here about once a week. There aren't many asian buffets in the nky/cincinnati area. I've been to most of them and this by far is the best one around. If you get there around dinner switch time the food is always hot and fresh. Love the fact that they have frog legs on the dinner buffet as well. There regular take-out menu is even better than the buffet if you want a combo or dinner to go. Definitely recommend.“

The menu offered a delightful variety of authentic Chinese dishes, making it tough to choose. I opted for the garlic chicken, of which was bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The spice levels were just right, adding an exciting kick without overpowering the dish. The crab rangoons were amazing also.

“Good food and good portions. The fried rice is not as good as it used to be, and they don't serve egg drop or hot&sour soup free like they used to. The Sesame chicken is good, but I kind of wish I got white rice because the fried rice wasn't very good, and I usually prefer fried rice.“

I noticed storage boxes in a few places, some on the floor by a few walls, it would be more professional if they weren't visible to customers.
