“Our family of six Thoroughly enjoyed the quintessential Louisiana cuisine! It may not look fancy, but Sam's Southern Eatery has the most delicious grilled catfish, fried oysters, fried chicken, shrimp po-boys and beans and rice! Our meal was absolutely perfect and everyone loved what they ordered! Thank you for the food and we'll see you next time!“

“Best restaurant in Natchitoches!! The Cajun Potato was unreal, easily one of the best meals we’ve had here. Everything tasted amazing, the atmosphere was great, and the service made the experience even better. Gibby was our waitress and she was absolutely awesome! Super friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!!“

“Beautiful restaurant. Too many tables and chairs crammed into casual dining. Unable to navigate to the restroom. Loud in such a small area. Less is more for what is expected from an upscale restaurant.“

“The crawfish cornbread is a must! The food was great and they’re very generous with their portions. Atmosphere was amazing also! We sat on the back porch, even though it was hot, but it wasn’t hot. They had fans in his family friendly.“

“I got the Oyster Bienville and they were amazing! My server Maddie gave us a great experience with knowledge of the menu and drinks. We asked for a good whiskey and noticed they had a great new selection. Great job to the new owners keep it up.“
