I opened it as soon as I got it to take a bite and finished the whole thing before I made it to city service Highway omgggg it was soooo good.. “Alan the GM gave us a great rate for 6 rooms. Rooms were ready when we got there, comfortable and clean. We were exhausted & we ate at the onsite restaurant & utilized the bar. Not to hold it against GM or employees, but the restaurant was understaffed. They did allow & encourage us because of the wait to do GrubHub which turned out great! Breakfast very good waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt parfait, bacon, eggs, gravy, breads, biscuits, sausage, muffins, grits, cereals, etc. Dinner food from the restaurant was good. Bartender- Excellent. Staff was very very friendly. Kudos to you all for an awesome overnight rest.“

“I was in town for a band competition so, I wanted to try something we don't have back home. This place did not disappoint. I got the Iron Gut burger, onion rings, and fried mushrooms. Everything was obviously made in house and seasoned beautifully. The salsa (that came with the Iron gut) and the ranch (that came with the fried mushrooms) were fabulous. 10 out of 10. My only complaint is that I live 2 hours away so I can't make this my normal burger spot. I will definitely visit them again when I get the chance.“

“I wanted something Louisiana for lunch, and their menu looked like what I had in mind, so I stopped in for lunch. The place is immaculate with a golf course for the view! Georgia was the sweetest server I could have hoped for, very patient and helpful with deciding my perfect lunch of blackened redfish with crabmeat sauce, asparagus and dirty rice. It was all cooked to perfection and delicious! The bartender Jacie was equally impressive, making the most delicious bloody Mary with all the trimmings, and an amazing Moscow Mule! I'm a bartender by profession, so when I call out mixology skill, it's someone who's truly over and above expectation. I can't wait to return, and recommend The Max as an outstanding experience, start to finish.“

“We had a great experience dining here on 6/3/23. The dozen oysters on the half shell were very tasty. My husband had the catfish and commented on how it was the best he has had in a very long time. I had the burger and fries and it was absolutely delicious! Thanks for accommodating all my food allergies. It’s difficult but you all really tried and I appreciate it very much. Finally, we had great service from Brook and enjoyed eating on the patio. Keep up the great work. Food service is a grueling job but you all did it so effortlessly!“

“The Ember Team was wonderful. I enjoyed a solo experience on a slow Sunday evening. Nicole gave me a tour of table options then provided outstanding service in a large comfortable booth. I appreciated the recommendations, environment with soft instrumental music, and fire in the background. Food was prepared perfectly. Fried green tomatoes were my favorite. I will definitely come back if given the chance.“

“It is always so unbearably cold in there. We bring sweaters etc, but last night I shivered through my meal being unable to enjoy it. And the waiter was rushing us through the meal. Arrived at 515p out by 540p. The food is always delicious but the atmosphere killed it. Very fast loud music, difficult to hold a conversation at the table.“
