He got a banana and abita river mix, topped with condensed milk, and I got the Snickers Stuffed with chocolate ice cream, and topped with condensed milk. Highly recommend. “We have dined at Don's in Covington multiple times. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the servers are exceptional. During our recent visit, we were served by Emily. She was very professional, intelligent, and focused. She was patient and pleasant to converse with. We were impressed with her knowledge of the restaurant and the menu. We truly enjoyed our dinner, and Emily provided excellent service.“

Probably one of the best I have ever had. You can tell it is slow roasted and the Au Jus is so flavorful. My husband has the fried shrimp and fish and said it was delicious. If you get a salad definitely try the homemade blackberry vinaigrette. I could have drank it as a side! Definitely coming back to try brunch.“

“This is a quaint restaurant on the lakefront in Mandeville. I had the Killer Quesadilla with shrimp. It was great. The sweet potato fries were very good. These were waffle fries which added to the crispness of fries. The queso was a little think but was good. Service was good also.“
