“We enjoyed the best shrimp poboys and onion rings! The bread they use for the poboys is wonderful! The shrimp were a perfect size, perfectly battered up and perfectly fried. The size of the sandwich was just right as well, and overstuffed the way we like it. The lettuce, tomato, and pickles were fresh and added the perfect touch. As for the thick cut homemade onion rings, those were honestly the best onion rings we have ever had from anywhere. I could make a meal out of their onion rings and I might just do that one day! I must add that we feel the prices are very affordable. Other places in town are charging more for food that isn’t nearly as good.“

His daughter tends the counter at the wine market bent is well-versed in all things related to liquor wine and beer. “First time eating here (10/25/2025) and it was absolutely amazing. My stepdaughter and I had Gator bites for the first time... it really does taste like chicken lol. Our server, Stephanie, was just the absolute best. She was kind, quick, and very informative about things to do around the area or where to visit the next time we come. The manager on duty was also amazing. He gave my stepdaughter one of their shirts and it really just made her day so much better 😁. The people, the atmosphere, the food... all of it was wonderful. Highly recommend eating here!“

“Went with my parents for lunch today. We each had a fresh, crisp salad. My parents had catfish. It was fried to perfection and nicely seasoned but not too salty or spicy. I had the corn and shrimp bisque. It was thick, creamy, and delicious. This establishment serves delicious food for ridiculously affordable prices.“

She had over five tables, yet she still maintained a positive attitude and a smile on her face every time we saw her. When servers are stressed, they typically don't smile, but she smiled throughout her night, making ours a good one. Specifically for my brother, it was his birthday, and he flew home soon. So it was a relief to know his last Louisiana meal was yummy with a good server. Also, I do not know the name of the other girl, but she had covered the drinks order down, and she was also super sweet. I love the atmosphere where people help out others; it provides a very joyful aura to be around! To conclude, Ally and the other girl were extremely sweet and kind. “The staff is attentive, they remember your drink even though you haven’t been in a few weeks! The food is off the charts! Burgers, wings, nachos and the best steak night around. They always have great bands playing too. We love just hanging outside during the day, watching the water and boats go by. Drinks are great and nicely priced!“

“This was my first visit to this location. Normally, I'm not a fan of Waffle House because it's too greasy for me. But this location cooked everything perfectly. The servers were hilarious and a real joy to talk to during our breakfast. They also didn't mill around. They kept themselves busy and made sure that their restaurant was clean and bright. If we decide to go to Waffle House for breakfast again, it will definitely be this location.“
