“I liked their beignets. They were nice and hot and had with a cup of chai tea. They went perfect together. I live these better than Cafe du Monde, as lighter. But years ago I think they must have changed recipe at Cafe as I wasn't as happy with them, maybe too commercialized? This was a quick stop at PJ's and really enjoyed!“
“Best brunch in Alexandria! Forgot to take a picture of my meal because it was too delicious! Very clean, friendly staff, and is also kid friendly. I got the Kickin Chicken Waffle and it was the most delicious chicken sandwich I have had in a while. I got a side of seasoned potatoes with it and they were very yummy. It is on the pricier side, but I would definitely eat here again!“
“This place is delicious! I live in Florida, and my Mom mails me packages of their stuff for Valentine’s, Easter, etc. Love their cookies and “Twix cookies“, but you have to try their Paleo bar and trail mixes. I hope to visit in person soon!“

“We arrived around 6:30 on a weeknight and were seated immediately, plenty of empty tables. Molcajete was tasty, but chicken and beef were just two huge chunks of meat. The beef was very chewy. My wife had the vegetarian fajitas and she raved about it. It did look very tasty. Portions were large, too. We both brought home enough for another meal. No skinny margaritas, unfortunately.“
“Hands down the best coffee and pastries in Alexandria. The lemon blueberry scones are absolute perfection and the pumpkin spiced cold brew is exactly what you want in a fall drink. The sandwiches are also extremely delicious. The ladies there always have a smile and kind word for everyone. Love this place.“

“6-25-23 came for the first time around 9:40 A.M.I called first to see if they had bagels (because my fella likes bagels), but they didn't.Anyway, they DID have cinnamon rolls!!!!I also ordered the pinecone donut because I read the reviews...and MOST of them RAVEE about the pinecones!The Cinnamon rolls are a 10/10!!!The Pinecone donuts are 10/10!!!Go get you some!!!I was afraid that the donuts would have been all cold and stuff because it was wayyyy about 7, but they were fresh!!!I have no idea what you Alexandria folks like about Shipley's (yuck, yuck, yuck) but THIS PLACE IS WHERE THE QUALITY OLD-FASHIONED STYLE RECIPES AND CREATED WITH LOVE COMES FROM!!“
“We are from Ponchatoula, LA and had come to Alexandria for a concert. Saturday morning we woke up wanting a family owned local business for breakfast, I am so glad to have pulled up Mickey’s Red Kettle on google. We decided to try them out and I give them 10/10. Their Chicken and Waffles are the BOMBBBB!!! Oh, and let me not forget the specialty sausages (jalapeño cheddar, Louisiana Crawfish, Louisiana Alligator, Pineapple Jalapeño) and bacon (jalapeño bacon), that will have your mouth watering and craving all the time.I had to take me a couple pounds of sausage to bring home because they are that GREAT!! They are such an amazing family and great business and service.No issues at all. When we come back to Alexandria, Mickeys Red Kettle will be the spot everytime !!! Support local businesses!!!“
“I never tried Boba tea before and found this little place using Google maps. The worker there gave me helpful recommendations what to try.It was super good and my mom loved it too. Try it out if you haven't. Price is reasonable for a nice drink.“
“Went to Target yesterday(Saturday) and decided to get me the Mint Tea. Justin was all smiles and was kind enough to ask me how I was doing. Justin was very courteous and took interest in what I was ordering. I asked if he could add lemon to the tea. He said yes, half lemon or full lemon. I said, no one ever asked if I wanted half or full. He said go with the full, you’ll see the difference in the taste. He was absolutely correct. The tea was amazing. Derek, his associate was also kind. Appears he was still in some training but he did an excellent job. Additionally, Justin went over the entire food menu with me and commented on things that were very good. I got the vanilla bean custard danish and it was delicious! Thanks Justin and Derek!“
“It’s a cafe and breakfast place in downtown. We stopped by for a coffee . Coffee was good and options for coffee were good in number. Decor of this cafe was good with different type of tea and coffee pot around and poster. While traveling if one want to stop by for a coffee it is a good place.“
