The onsite restaurant is out of this world in selection and taste, I eat here at least twice a week and have never had anything even a bit off. “Stopped here while passing through on vacation. Amanda was amazing. She answered all our questions about the area. We choose this restaurant because the small poor-boys were a perfect size for our kids for lunch. We were really impressed with quality of the food. They had so many poor-boy options, the girls all found one they liked, and the roast beef was phenomenal. The the seafood platter was perfect, and the crawfish balls were one of the best crawfish items I ever ate. We'll be back when we get back to the area. Give them a try. Amazing!“

“We decided to stay in Kenner this year for the Jazz Fest and glad we did as we found Zea!! It hit all my star indicators - very clean, the staff was delightful and the dishes were delectable. Our server, Paris, was knowledgeable about the dishes, shared her opinions about dishes (which I appreciate) and was as charming as the city she is named after. We also chatted with John, the manager and he shared how Zea was created and we could tell he loved being part of the team - as did other team members. Of course we are Southerners so we swap other stories :). As far as the food, Paris helped us pick the perfect dishes for sharing - the Duck Empanada, Asian Ribs (get the 8 as u will be disappoint if u choose only 4), the Pepper Jelly Spinach Salad, with Sweet Ice Tea. To top it off we dipped our spoons into the enticing Sweet Potato Bread Pudding with a tantalizing rum sauce — a must for all future visits. Thanks Zea, for a perfect meal at the end of a perfect Jazz Fest!!

“I stopped here on my way to Ponchatoula, La. I was utilizing counter service. There was seating available to order food. I purchased apple fritters and buttermilk drops. Every item was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and courteous! The establishment was clean and orderly. I was greeted and thanked by all the counter staff! The Dutch owners are delightful people and so welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxed. We had the 4 course selection of the day. There is no menu. Just different course options with fresh ingredients that are prepared on the day. The food is innovative and delicious. Make sure you book to avoid disappointment. We booked for the following Sunday for their set 3-course Sunday lunch. Again, there is no menu but these are set dishes which consist of local, seasonal foods. Don’t expect a classic British Sunday lunch because the food could not be any more different. However, each course tastes delicious and is presented beautifully. You will not be disappointed if you eat at this restaurant. We shall be booking just as soon as we are in the area again.“
