Talked to a local Stoney- this place comes highly recommended! Good soul food. Nothing out of a can tasting! Meatloaf and yams suggested.Previous post/picture says cash only, but I have confirmed they do take card!
Was told about this place by a guy at a place I was delivering to. You know it's good when people are lined up at the door before it opens. It definitely isn't anything to look at, but the food surely made up for that. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Had the hamburger steak with rice and gravy, corn and green beans. Everything was excellent. Definitely will be coming back next time I'm in town.

OBSCURE / HIDDEN GEM! The atmosphere is no frills offering good food. Ms. Evelyn (I hope I got her name right) brings her skills and talent to work with her EVERYDAY this place is open for business. The food never disappoints. From the delicious fried chicken, fried catfish, red beans & rice, white beans (all beans served with whole sausage links) potato salad, macaroni cheese, peas, & much more!
