“we have enjoyed dining in for years. The smoked meats are excellent although they do not have ham. Sides are good too, except for the coated fries. I go for the light plate now which comes with two ribs and several meat choices (there is a $2 upcharge for brisket for some reason). One bit of advice, bring a jacket because the temperature is always freezing since the old Dickeys era...“

“We had fried green tomatoes for an appetizer they were crispy and perfectly cooked. The catfish was great and the shrimp was well seasoned. In our waitress Kelsey was a delight.Vegetarian options: They had many side dishes including sweet potato fries.“

“This to me is the North Bossier/Benton spot. Silver Star North is close to the house and always has a great vibe. The staff is absolutely amazing and all of the bartenders are rock stars @lyni @kristal @jessie @reanna. Since they combined Silver Star Cantina with this location, it's broad menu will never disappoint! Say hey to the General Manager too, Damon. Very good guy and will always accommodate!“

“A hidden gem on the north side of Bossier! Both times I’ve been here have been consistently great. The food is fantastic (chicken falls off the bone, brisket is smoked to perfection) and the staff is incredibly courteous. If you’re looking for some great BBQ at a relaxed place then this is your place!“
