“picked up a to-go order, slight issue with order coming through. get there, no order’s been put in. They apologize, and throw in free french fries. Something about my order came through as 2 burgers. We come back 20 minutes later. Not only do they bring out my food TO me but they also threw in the 2 burgers that the mix up came through as for free! Ray was the gentleman who assisted me, couldn’t have been more pleasant. 10/10 choice for dinner tonight on service alone“

“Me and my best friend came to Copper Monkey while in town on our girls trip. We saw the banana beignets online and wanted to try them. We were not disappointed! They were happy to put an obscure soccer match on a big screen for us, cook us delicious food (the fish and chips were a highlight, as were the weekend special Buffalo chicken dip egg rolls), and pour us some great drinks. “On a little NOLA getaway for me and the hubbs, we came to this little hidden gem for a late night bite and bev. Beers were cold and the food was hot. Just as it should be! The good company is what brought us back on the second night. Pixie was fun, entertaining and just a great gal. It was a quiet couple of nights (not your average Bourbon St. traffic) so we had the joy of being 2 of the 3 people in the place. We listened and sang to music, talked about books and movies and just had a great time. “On Super Bowl Sunday I (Philly) attended with a group of friends (New Orleans) and we had a wonderful time. The brunch was great the atmosphere had great vibes. We will definitely be back. Shout out to Carlos the owner much respect. G-Town!!!“

“Ana amazing spot tucked away just off of Filmore. We had a super rad time. The bar happened to be celebrating a customers birthday, so there were a good amount of folks right when the bar opened. Everyone was friendly and enjoying the company of others. Only took about 10 minutes before we started dancing. The bar serves food, but I did not try anything this round. But, I have a reason to go back.“

Came back, as I do on almost every trip. To be honest, the vibe had dropped off for a brief time for some reason but yesterday, Hailey (spelling?) and her cook (didn't get his name) held court and made for an incredible atmosphere all afternoon. Great drinks, conversation and music for hours.

“Dined in, ordered gumbo, crayfish eggrolls, BBQ wings. The gumbo was delicious...a true Nola taste. The crayfish eggroll with a light savory sauce was cooked to perfection and BBQ wings w/ celery sticks were the best. Food was served with a beautiful presentation. This spot is a hidden gem. You have to check it out. We will be back.“

“No real outside signage to inform walkers that a bar and restaurant is there. No clear entrance to bar/restaurant unless you are a guest at the hotel. Only managed to stumble across it by word of mouth. The lighting is a bit too dim, way too loud to hear the bartender, kept having to ask him to repeat himself. Really limited vegetarian options on the menu but the feed green tomato sandwich is good. The service and knowledgeable recommendations by Austin were excellent, Glenn was extremely nice and helpful.“

“Nice little place to grab some beers and enjoy the fresh air blowing in from the big open windows. They have a lot of taps with plenty of locally brewed options and bartenders that are happy to help you choose. Service was friendly and genuine and not in your face. An easy walk from the convention center and cruise hotels.“

Had the Honduran tacos (with chicken) and they were an EXPERIENCE.
Savory, salty, spicy, creamy and bright crunchy mixed vegetable coleslaw all wrapped into a crunchy fried corn tortilla (similar looking to a flauta). And a BIG plate of them for only $10? Yes please!
You have to try this place.
Everything is so affordable and delicious.

“We had the pleasure of visiting this establishment this past weekend as a part of a stop during a party bus tour. I feel like it is a hidden gem that more people should frequent. The drink prices are good and the locals are friendly. Great atmosphere!“

“I went into the Bronx Bar, which is the bar side of New York Pizzeria, a half an hour before closing to grab some take-out Italian for my chef husband to eat when he got home after working a night shift. I got the pasta marinara with meatballs since we were burned out on delivery pizza. I was plesantly surprised. The kitchen was technically closed for the night, but you could get certain menu items if you ordered at the bar. The food was excellent-the meatballs were definitely homemade, and the bartender gave me a free soda as I waited at the bar for my food to come out of the kitchen. I recommend this place, very good for a late-night bite to go.“
