“No one under 21 can enter this establishment! It’s a cute dive bar restaurant! We came and it was empty which for us was great! 6 of us got a table and had quick service! I love wings and these wingers were GOOD! the fried pickles were so good and so glad they didn’t come out as spears! The waiter was super friendly and attentive! Would definitely come back if in the area!“

“I went to the Backspace Bar & Kitchen after getting in on a later flight and ordered a beer and shrimp po'boy. It was a super chill night - I was just one of a few folks in there around 8PM. The beer was wonderful, the bartender was so nice, and the whole vibe was just what I needed after a stressful day of travel. The shrimp po'boy was really good - really well seasoned and balanced nicely with fresh, crisp veggies and pickles.“

“No real outside signage to inform walkers that a bar and restaurant is there. No clear entrance to bar/restaurant unless you are a guest at the hotel. Only managed to stumble across it by word of mouth. The lighting is a bit too dim, way too loud to hear the bartender, kept having to ask him to repeat himself. Really limited vegetarian options on the menu but the feed green tomato sandwich is good. The service and knowledgeable recommendations by Austin were excellent, Glenn was extremely nice and helpful.“

“This place is AMAZING. My fiancé and I came in just because it was close and it DID NOT disappoint! I had the pulled pork and he had the chicken tacos. Food was fresh and tasted great! Staff was so friendly. If you’re wanting a place with a chill vibe and great food, this is the place to be!“

“This is the Official Buffalo Bills Backers Bar of New Orleans! The atmosphere is unmatched and the staff is great! Bills mafia gets to watch the games under one roof! They have Buffalo wings, pizza logs, Sahlen’s hot dogs and buckets of Labatt Blue! Truly a home away from home ? doors open an hour before every game.“

“Dined in, ordered gumbo, crayfish eggrolls, BBQ wings. The gumbo was delicious...a true Nola taste. The crayfish eggroll with a light savory sauce was cooked to perfection and BBQ wings w/ celery sticks were the best. Food was served with a beautiful presentation. This spot is a hidden gem. You have to check it out. We will be back.“

Had the Honduran tacos (with chicken) and they were an EXPERIENCE.
Savory, salty, spicy, creamy and bright crunchy mixed vegetable coleslaw all wrapped into a crunchy fried corn tortilla (similar looking to a flauta). And a BIG plate of them for only $10? Yes please!
You have to try this place.

“We have not had the warmest welcome here in New Orleans and encountered some awful people during our first night where we stayed downtown.So directly across the street from our @airbnb for the week, we happened upon this gem! We were joined by our house host, greeted with big smiles, warm hugs and generous handshakes then fed some complimentary soul food! Our best experience in NOLA so far! I want more of this!“

“On a visit with friends to New Orleans, we met the owner of this bar due to an unfortunate accident by my good friend (She fell to the ground and hurt herself very badly) The owner came out took us all inside provided water, and was a true humanitarian Went above and beyond to help us in a situation that was unexpected and scary. “I went into the Bronx Bar, which is the bar side of New York Pizzeria, a half an hour before closing to grab some take-out Italian for my chef husband to eat when he got home after working a night shift. I got the pasta marinara with meatballs since we were burned out on delivery pizza. I was plesantly surprised. The kitchen was technically closed for the night, but you could get certain menu items if you ordered at the bar. The food was excellent-the meatballs were definitely homemade, and the bartender gave me a free soda as I waited at the bar for my food to come out of the kitchen. I recommend this place, very good for a late-night bite to go.“

“picked up a to-go order, slight issue with order coming through. get there, no order’s been put in. They apologize, and throw in free french fries. Something about my order came through as 2 burgers. We come back 20 minutes later. Not only do they bring out my food TO me but they also threw in the 2 burgers that the mix up came through as for free! Ray was the gentleman who assisted me, couldn’t have been more pleasant. 10/10 choice for dinner tonight on service alone“
