Something about my order came through as 2 burgers. We come back 20 minutes later. Not only do they bring out my food TO me but they also threw in the 2 burgers that the mix up came through as for free! Ray was the gentleman who assisted me, couldn’t have been more pleasant. 10/10 choice for dinner tonight on service alone“

Similar to the 1st time, had a couple of beers and danced until it was time to cool off on their patio/backyard. It was DJ Haute Wave whom I've had the pleasure of rocking to @12 mile. “I went to the Backspace Bar & Kitchen after getting in on a later flight and ordered a beer and shrimp po'boy. It was a super chill night - I was just one of a few folks in there around 8PM. The beer was wonderful, the bartender was so nice, and the whole vibe was just what I needed after a stressful day of travel. The shrimp po'boy was really good - really well seasoned and balanced nicely with fresh, crisp veggies and pickles.“

“We happened upon Hank’s Bar after googling nearby food while looking for a quick bite before attending a nearby event in Treme. The food was so good we returned before heading back to Mobile last night. I met Kevin at the door and Oscar the owner. Not only was the food great, so were these guys. I will most definitely return to NO just to visit Hank’s. I am now their biggest fan from Mobile 😄. I just hate I didn’t grab another one of those seafood potato’s. “I went into the Bronx Bar, which is the bar side of New York Pizzeria, a half an hour before closing to grab some take-out Italian for my chef husband to eat when he got home after working a night shift. I got the pasta marinara with meatballs since we were burned out on delivery pizza. I was plesantly surprised. The kitchen was technically closed for the night, but you could get certain menu items if you ordered at the bar. The food was excellent-the meatballs were definitely homemade, and the bartender gave me a free soda as I waited at the bar for my food to come out of the kitchen. I recommend this place, very good for a late-night bite to go.“

Had the Honduran tacos (with chicken) and they were an EXPERIENCE.
Savory, salty, spicy, creamy and bright crunchy mixed vegetable coleslaw all wrapped into a crunchy fried corn tortilla (similar looking to a flauta). And a BIG plate of them for only $10? Yes please!
You have to try this place.

“We have not had the warmest welcome here in New Orleans and encountered some awful people during our first night where we stayed downtown.So directly across the street from our @airbnb for the week, we happened upon this gem! We were joined by our house host, greeted with big smiles, warm hugs and generous handshakes then fed some complimentary soul food! Our best experience in NOLA so far! I want more of this!“

“Dined in, ordered gumbo, crayfish eggrolls, BBQ wings. The gumbo was delicious...a true Nola taste. The crayfish eggroll with a light savory sauce was cooked to perfection and BBQ wings w/ celery sticks were the best. Food was served with a beautiful presentation. This spot is a hidden gem. You have to check it out. We will be back.“

Only managed to stumble across it by word of mouth. The lighting is a bit too dim, way too loud to hear the bartender, kept having to ask him to repeat himself. Really limited vegetarian options on the menu but the feed green tomato sandwich is good. The service and knowledgeable recommendations by Austin were excellent, Glenn was extremely nice and helpful.“
