“picked up a to-go order, slight issue with order coming through. get there, no order’s been put in. They apologize, and throw in free french fries. Something about my order came through as 2 burgers. We come back 20 minutes later. Not only do they bring out my food TO me but they also threw in the 2 burgers that the mix up came through as for free! Ray was the gentleman who assisted me, couldn’t have been more pleasant. 10/10 choice for dinner tonight on service alone“

“the other day was my first time going as it was recommended by a good friend. it is, hands down ,my new favorite establishment in new orleans! the staff were very friendly and welcoming. they were quick to point me to menu favorites that i,a meat eater, and my friend, a vegetarian ,both loved! I had the hot sausage burger and gumbo and my friend had the island veggie burger.any bar that throws down for Bowies birthday is tops in my book. the vibe is very true art forward as well as the patrons. .Even though I was new to a lot of the crowd it seemed like they were happy I was there. i will be back!10/10 stars.“

“Don’t sleep on the Schooner! They were happy to put an obscure soccer match on a big screen for us, cook us delicious food (the fish and chips were a highlight, as were the weekend special Buffalo chicken dip egg rolls), and pour us some great drinks. Amazing vibes during the day and at night, wonderful staff (hi guys!) and cozy atmosphere. Can’t recommend highly enough.“

“As a local, Backspace Bar is one of my favorite low-key spots in the Quarter. The playlists are peak millennial emo in the best way. The kind of music that makes you sing along and remember your Warped Tour years. I’ve never heard anything in here that wasn't on point.
Its location near several major music venues makes it an ideal stop before a show for a drink and a quick bite. Easy, convenient, and way better than wandering into a random tourist bar.
The menu is smaller, but everything is done really well and the portions are massive. The Brussels sprouts are my go-to and easily big enough to share with at least three people.
The staff is genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the overall vibe feels like a true locals bar hiding in plain sight among the overpriced BS.“

“Ana amazing spot tucked away just off of Filmore. We had a super rad time. The bar happened to be celebrating a customers birthday, so there were a good amount of folks right when the bar opened. Everyone was friendly and enjoying the company of others. Only took about 10 minutes before we started dancing. The bar serves food, but I did not try anything this round. But, I have a reason to go back.“

“No real outside signage to inform walkers that a bar and restaurant is there. No clear entrance to bar/restaurant unless you are a guest at the hotel. Only managed to stumble across it by word of mouth. The lighting is a bit too dim, way too loud to hear the bartender, kept having to ask him to repeat himself. Really limited vegetarian options on the menu but the feed green tomato sandwich is good. The service and knowledgeable recommendations by Austin were excellent, Glenn was extremely nice and helpful.“

“Nice little place to grab some beers and enjoy the fresh air blowing in from the big open windows. They have a lot of taps with plenty of locally brewed options and bartenders that are happy to help you choose. Service was friendly and genuine and not in your face. An easy walk from the convention center and cruise hotels.“

Had the Honduran tacos (with chicken) and they were an EXPERIENCE.
Savory, salty, spicy, creamy and bright crunchy mixed vegetable coleslaw all wrapped into a crunchy fried corn tortilla (similar looking to a flauta). And a BIG plate of them for only $10? Yes please!
You have to try this place.
Everything is so affordable and delicious.

Your first visit will get you hooked for sure. Great for parties and gatherings of all kinds. Can't say enough about this place.“

“If you are neuro divergent and need a relatively quite place to take refuge from the chaos of the street, this is the place! The music is a normal level - not normal for bars, regular normal - and the staff was very acomodating. Mocksville was great as well and my friend enjoyed his hurricane. Thank goodness!“

“I went into the Bronx Bar, which is the bar side of New York Pizzeria, a half an hour before closing to grab some take-out Italian for my chef husband to eat when he got home after working a night shift. I got the pasta marinara with meatballs since we were burned out on delivery pizza. I was plesantly surprised. The kitchen was technically closed for the night, but you could get certain menu items if you ordered at the bar. The food was excellent-the meatballs were definitely homemade, and the bartender gave me a free soda as I waited at the bar for my food to come out of the kitchen. I recommend this place, very good for a late-night bite to go.“

“I stopped by to grab a bite to eat after a parade late night. They have a limited menu but are quick and very courteous. The store is interesting enough to wait for the 10 minutes it took to make my burger. The burger was good and fries were ok as well. Not bad for an under $11 meal. The employees were very nice and communicative.“
