“The best donuts I’ve had in a very long time. I really didn’t know what I was missing until I had a bite of the softest Bavarian cream filled donut with a nice crispy outside I mean it was amazing. It was like heaven definitely a French creation almost and I’m definitely traveling back to Chalmette to get these donuts.!“

They have a chewy macaroon type cookie both in chocolate and anise flavor which is my all-time favorite. Of course I also had to get some of their cake chocolate iced donuts as well. Nona randazzo's bakery goods are not cheap by any means, but that's true for all private bakeries. Nona randazzo's goods are as good or better than any other bakery in the New Orleans area.“

Came here on our last night after dinner and got the espresso with ice cream and a shake along with a cinnamon roll to share with my honey. The shake was a perfect consistency. Then came here again the day we were leaving out as they have Koloches. Haven’t seen those since we lived in Texas. It was pretty good but that Vietnamese coffee 🤤🤤🤤 it was soo good. They had some great vegan and gluten free options, clean and fun atmosphere, and pet friendly 😋 Plus a unique little boutique area in the back. There was a lot of pay it forward kindness to some of the local homeless that wandered in as well...made the heart smile to see kindness in the world.“

The beignets were delicious and life changing, the king cake was the perfect amount of sweet and fluffy, and my husband was completely satisfied with his shrimp and grits that he ordered. “My husband and I had a great experience at this little cafe. We went to Joe’s on Terry Pkwy, got a pork chop breakfast, quesadilla a omelette and glazed beignets. We didn’t really know what we wanted so we just ordered a little bit of everything. The food was great. Especially the breakfast quesadilla. So good! The food did take a while to come out, but our waitress was the bomb. She took such good care of us. She knew what we needed before we even had to ask. “I recently just moved to the neighborhood so I was really delighted that I would get the opportunity to visit this wonderful place they have such delicious food. However what I do not like is that they have horrible service and the attitude of the staff is lackluster that it is very confusing when you walk in there as far as directions. That aside they tend to miss plate items simple as meat and bacon I have to keeping me waiting seems that I was number 16 and they call 17 18 19 20 then I became a little concerned they hastily put together my plate where the items did not match my order it was no due diligence in checking the tickets to make sure that the items match with the person actually paid for as if there’s no kitchen manager or it’s just a free-for-all back there seems I’ve worked in the kitchen previous places I can spot the weakness maybe they need a staff that’s more enthusiastic about working at such a fine establishment and if they can appreciate that maybe that whole family dynamic atmosphere that they try to create something that’s really a hindrance to the business model and with overall discourage people who want to return and spend their heart on money so that they can keep this black on establishment on and Poppin but as you can see this is why people say black on establishment suck and black on businesses suck and they don’t give you a type of business and respect that you deserve because Black people suck but as another black person I’m not able to say that because that means that I suck so what a predicament this put me in oh my gosh and bring back the turkey Bacon please.“
