“Quality food experience. Sorry the chef was out, but everyone needs a day off. Food was excellently prepared. Don't be afraid of blackened green beans. They r just right. Friendly service, well balanced wine selection and fun draft beer options . The view cannot be beat. Free street parking. A few steps to get in vestibule and take elevator to the Roof. Plenty of space around tables. Highly recommend. Closed Monday.”

“My husband and I went to Anchuca for dinner to celebrate our anniversary and a trip to the historic battlefield. The atmosphere was so calming and intimate, the food was unbelievable (pork ribeye and chicken picatta) and to top it off our server Vickie was so personable and kind.”

I loved them so much that I'll be having some shipped soon. Reading the history on the walls as well as talking to the relative was a plus!”

“OMG! We got so lucky finding this place. Stopped on the way back home in Fayetteville from Baton Rouge. I'm a native New Orleanian and have had my share of poboys good and awful. Mon Cheris I am telling you right now, theirs have to be one of the best we've ever had. I got shrimp and my husband got oyster- sandwiches each a foot long with so much seafood they were falling out. Based on this experience alone on a 1 to 10 scale my husband and I both give it a 12! No regrets!”

“From the second you walk up the steps, you know it's going to be good. It's in an old manor house. Xavier was our waiter and he was phenomenal!!! My husband got sweet tea and said it would have made my Georgia dad proud. The chicken fried steak was sublime. The biscuits and cornbread were touched by angels. I don't know how they made their mashed potatoes so creamy but give me all of them. The macaroni and cheese was clearly scratch made. I had one of the specials of the day and it was beef tips and rice. I died and went to southern cooking heaven. The black eyed peas and green beans I got with it were the perfect compliment. Your daily special also comes with peach cobbler. Y'all... This was touched by the baby Jesus himself. Holy moly. It was divine. The cakes and pies looked so good too, but we were too full to eat it. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because we will be back. It's a 5 hour drive from Dallas and worth every single mile.”

“The staff is awesome! They make you feel like you are their most important customer. The frozen treats are unique. Milkshakes, frozen custards, Italian ices, banana splits, and a ton of other items are on their menu. You don’t find this combination of flavors, toppings, and love at just any store. You cannot go wrong with any menu choice.”

“my wife and I went for a dinner date. It was my first visit. the fried mushrooms were excellent, but the steak... we both got filets and they were amazing. One of, if not, the BEST steaks I've ever had. They were thick, juicy, flavorful, tender and cooked PERFECTLY (medium rare). We will definitely be back. highly recommend.”
